o work with. I also mentioned to her that I am very camera shy and that we don’t know how to pose and stuff. She assured us that everything would go smoothly.
We considered our package to be very affordable for what was offered and it also came with an engagement shoot. Initially, we were going to do our engagement shoot at the arboretum, but then changed our minds since my sister sent me “hong Kong 80s theme” Pintrest board. I reached out to Jenna to see if this was doable, and she mentioned that it was, however it wouldn’t be exactly the same since the style is slightly different (which wasn’t a big deal to me at all).
On the day of our engagement shoot, we met up with Jenna in Chinatown and she gave me a hug right away like we were friends that haven’t seen each other in a long time and it made me feel a lot more comfortable. We spent an hour with Jenna and we did a lot of different poses and at different settings as well. Side Note: I wasn’t happy with my HMU trial and my outfit at all that day. I also had one dry eye that was watering all day long, messing up my makeup. That day was a mess. However, when the pictures came in, I was SOOOOO in love and so happy with how the pictures turned out. I am not a photogenic person (most of the pictures I take, my eyes are closed) but Jenna made me feel so confident and beautiful. She is so talented and I am so glad we had the opportunity to work with her! She also made Chinatown look SO beautiful in the pictures. I can’t believe this is Chinatown, because it def does not look like that in person LOL.
On the day of the wedding, my HMU went so much better and the day was very smooth. Jenna really took the lead and got all the pictures I needed that day. I really trusted her judgement, and loved all the poses and settings that came out from that day. I also wanted to point out that all of the details shoot I have seen on instagram or their portfolio look SO good. I have seen some details photos that do not look that good, so I am glad I mine turned out so beautiful.

ng with Kevin at his office in Fullerton, we have been constantly in awe of their work ethics and amazing personality. I remember walking out of his office, Stacey and I smiled gleefully because we knew right then his team was the one. Since then, it has been one great customer service after another. Whenever we had questions, they were willing to answer within hours, most the time in minutes, even though their team are constantly working with other couples. On our wedding day, I was really nervous and can't seem to get my tie correct and then I heard a knock on the door. Opening the hotel door was our groomsmen photographer, Khoa, who greeted me with a smile and a very calm demeanor like everything is already going according to plan. For some odd reason, that calmed me down. He fixed the tie and started scanning the room to see how he should start, knowing that we don't have much time. Half an hour later, I saw Kevin as he was the main photographer and taking the bridal party's responsibility. Kevin was his usual cool and chill self. I asked him if I can take a picture with my mom and he did. However, this wasn't just any picture, it is one of my favorite of that day and will forever sketched into my heart. He truly described the moment that I was wishing for my mom and I. From that moment on, I realized Kevin and Khoa got everything handled and Stacey and I just need to be ourselves. Just reading this sounds like any photography team but I think the most important part is after the wedding day. After that day, we felt we knew more about Kevin and Khoa than any of our prior meetings. Their kindness, genuine smile, amazing photography skills etc. made us realized we actually made friends on a day when we should be focusing on other activities. This team doesn't just want you to be their customer, they want you to be long-lasting friends. Since that day, we have had many friends and family ask us who was our photographer and without hesitation, we would immediately say Kevin Le Vu Photography and give them their contact info knowing they will be in good hands. Thanks for being amazing photographers and amazing friends.

r wedding way in advance and I researched many wedding photographers along the way. I was so lucky to stumble across Kevin Le Vu Photography on Yelp. My husband (fiancé at the time) and I looked up Kevin's website/social media pages and were so impressed! Not only is his work wonderful, but Kevin was so friendly, knowledgeable and so easy to work with. He was very helpful with the many questions that we had throughout our wedding planning process and he was always quick to respond to our emails and texts. Many times, he even gave us great suggestions and tips.
Although we have not received our wedding photos yet, all of our engagement photos were AMAZING! I received so many compliments from family and friends about how beautiful our photos were and how they really captured the love between my husband and I. In the beginning of our engagement session, we were so nervous and felt awkward about being photographed, but those feelings didn't last long. Kevin had a way of talking to us and making us feel comfortable.
Kevin and his team were always on top of everything. They really know how to capture the precious, fun and emotional moments from your special day. Booking with Kevin Le Vu was one of the best decisions that we made for our wedding! Thank you, Kevin!

t with so many great shots that it is hard to choose which one we like the most. Seriously, we were trying to print a few to hang on the wall and we love them all so much it makes it impossible.
I have nothing but good things to say about Kevin. Extremely friendly, easy to work with, very professional, kind, understanding, very responsive, and simply everything you might need from a wedding photographer. We felt so at ease working with all of them, and my husband and I are not exactly the easiest to take pictures of as I am really picky and he is super shy and doesn't quite enjoy to be in front of the camera. But Kevin did what he does best - magic and everything turn out incredible. You can tell he has a lot of experience. He knows how to pose you, what light to use (he even bring extra lighting just in case ) and sees things differently. Sometimes he would ask you to stand somewhere and look the other way and you might be thinking "Why am I doing that?" but when you see the final result you are like"Wow, that's so creative".

e made us feel very comfortable with his calm, confident vibe. He's friendly but also very professional and organized. He was always prompt at responding to emails and texts, and he provided us with great suggestions for Southern California locations and hotels for getting ready.
As for the actual photo sessions, the poses feel a bit awkward at first but Kevin knows what he's doing. I was initially worried about how some of the pictures would turn out (because of the location I chose), but rest assured he has a natural gift for making a regular old hotel room look elegant. Jonathan was the second photographer at our wedding and he was awesome too!
We just got our photos and we are so happy with them! The photos are breathtaking. They arrive in a sleek wooden box with the Kevin Le Vu symbol. We hope to use Kevin Le Vu photography for future life events. I wish I had more words to express my gratitude for Kevin and his team and how awesome they are. We HIGHLY recommend him. The best factors about Kevin as you consider photographers: His photos are photojournalist in style. When I look back at my beautiful wedding photos, it really tells a story* about the day, So if you are looking for someone to capture emotions, or feelings, memories, and recollections, this guy is great. He will also be wonderful and listen to you about your requested photos. He even remembered some and offered to shoot them when I was too busy to remember them.
His staff also does the photo booth, which is an AWESOME touch.

with us over Skype to conduct all the initial planning and were very flexible when coordinating meetings at their office. We loved the vision they have for capturing our special day. They constantly referenced my Pinterest boards to ensure they captured all the images that we wanted. They have all the equipment you would expect of a professional photography team. After the wedding they processed and retuned the pictures VERY quickly and on a memory drive with ALL the pictures.

We first met Kevin at a Starbucks about 10 months before our wedding and minutes into our conversation, we knew we had our guy. He was easy-going, had a lot of good ideas, offered a good price, and after showing us his previous work, it was a done deal.
After many emails going back and forth about sharing ideas on how we were going to do our engagement shoot and the wedding day, we finally saw Kevin again about 6 months later for our engagement shoot. This is when we first met Megan (Kevin’s girlfriend) and Michelle (Megan’s cousin) as Kevin’s back up photographers. The locations that Kevin selected for the engagement were fabulous. We had talked about in depth on what we had envisioned and Kevin and his team made it happen with their creativity and style.
Fast forward to 10-10-10…Kevin, Megan, and Michelle, took their talents to the Marina Del Rey Marriot, where they were introduced to the 10 bridesmaids and 10 groomsmen. We had already talked about us having that many people in our bridal party, but even with their wealth of experience, they were still surprised of the size of the group. Either way, Kevin and the girls had no problems whatsoever and got along well with the bridal party. Not only was Kevin Le Vu Photography very accommodating to us, they worked so well with our Videographers (Alumiq) as well. They had so many unbelievable shots at the Hotel, at the Ceremony, the Cocktail Hour, the Bridal Party Entrance Dance, during the Slideshow / SDE, Money Dance, at Backdrop Photobooth, and so on…
Before the wedding, during the wedding, and after the wedding, Kevin, Megan, and Michelle were true professionals. We’re so glad that they were the ones who captured our very special day and I would absolutely recommend Kevin Le Vu Photography!

res at 3 different locations. Kevin and his assistant Megan were so easy going that they even traveled to Downtown LA with us. The engagement pictures turned out great and we even used them for our wedding. On our wedding day, Kevin and his team (Megan, Michelle and Josh) showed up at 10am and stayed all the way to 12 midnight. They shot us in teams with Kevin and Josh taking pictures of the bride and Megan and Michelle taking pictures of the groom. They were so helpful and creative. Kevin also set up a photo center so that we could take pictures with each of our guests and having the photo be printed out instantly. Kevin also offered to set up a photo booth with props as well. I would definitely recommend Kevin and his services. His pricing is reasonable and creativity is amazing. Our venue was a difficult place to shoot (Long Beach Aquarium) and Kevin and his team worked well with the lighting and were able to catch all the wonderful moments.
