Richard had great reviews everywhere. Communicating with him we both felt he was going to be great, very professional. The day of, we were very disappointed. I went out of my way, created a binder with a script/timeline/schedule/songs/transitio...
ns, everything to make it as easy as possible to avoid those awkward moments. Even with all of that, every possible thing was awkward.
This might turn into a rough list but it genuinely upset me. He played every song beginning to end, then a pause, then the next song, instead of fading out to another song when people were done dancing to the song. He played our father/daughter dance song and our wedding party intro song more than once. He constantly came up to me during the wedding to check and see what we were doing next even though it was all written out. He had our officiant pray for the food before the food was ready then looked at me for what to do, even though he had the time the food was going to be ready. We requested our first dance song to be "All Night" by Big Boi and he played "Old Time Rock & Roll" by Bob Segar instead followed by a song on our do not play list. I went up to ask him what was going on and he responded that he always starts with those songs. I could add a few more things to the list but this is a good start.
I emailed him a week after the wedding to let him know how I felt about everything, expecting some sort of response to redeem himself or apologize, waited a month, but got nothing. Sorry, not recommended.
