On the wedding day, they were timely, efficient, and ensured every bridesmaid looked her absolute best while still bringing my vision to life. I would highly recommend K. Marina Beauty—and especially Rikki and Diana—to anyone who wants to feel their most beautiful on their wedding day or any special event. 

ld help me feel beautiful but also like ME! Kristel and her team did exactly that. When I went for my trial, I thought I had an idea of what I wanted…I was wrong lol. They did a beautiful job, but it just didn’t feel like “me.” Kristel was extremely open to my feedback- I told her exactly what I liked and what I didn’t. This is why having a trial AND a makeup artist with good communication is SO important. We worked together to create the perfect look for my wedding day. I truly felt like a princess, and I was sad to wash my face after it was over haha. (I don’t have my professional photos yet; these are just from Iphones!) Kristel and her team also did an amazing job with my entire bridal party. I had a large group to get through, but everyone looked flawless AND was done on time. They also deserve a special shoutout for my mom’s hair and makeup. My Mom is in her 60s and did not have a good experience when she got her makeup done for my sister’s wedding. Ladies, we all know that as we age our skin changes. Some artists don’t take this into account and do everyone’s makeup the same regardless of age. Heavier makeup can make someone look much older than they are! My Mom almost did her own makeup because she was worried about this. But they did an amazing job! I’ve never seen my Mom look so beautiful and confident! She raved about it the entire day 😊 Throughout the entire planning process, Kristel and her team were responsive, transparent, and professional. Fyi- they do change extra fees if you need additional stylists or have to start really early to accommodate large parties (like mine) but they are very upfront about it- no surprises! And it was totally worth it. I would hire this team over and over again! I wish Kristel could do my makeup every day lol Thank you K. Marina! <3

en had two different eye looks to play around with and see which I preferred. I ultimately made a change to my hair from the trial date, which they were flexible to and it worked out on the day of. They got everyone in the bridal party sorted out smoothly and we had no issues with time the day of from them. I love how both my hair and makeup turned out, and I felt like an absolute princess. The wedding party also loved their looks too, and they helped make the day lighter and more fun. Their communication is excellent as well-there is no question that is too small/insignificant, and they were able to swap products to better suit my personal needs. Highly recommend!

one getting HMU, I couldn't shake my regrets not to have hired Kristel. I work as a wedding and event planner and she has always been one of my faves for her personality, artistry, organization, and integrity. But then, lucky me, it turned out my bridal party wanted HMU too, so we could now rebook with an on-site artist, and LUCKY ME, Kristel was available! She and Hazel came to take care of myself, my mom, and three of my bridesmaids, with my mom and I both going in for a trial a few weeks beforehand. Both times, they made us feel relaxed and beautiful, and they listened to feedback and answered questions with such care. I wanted to feel special on my wedding day while still looking like my natural self, especially because while my now-husband absolutely respects my beauty choices, I don't normally wear a ton of makeup and I didn't want him to feel like he was looking at a stranger all day. Kristel even managed to put me in some natural-looking falsies that photographed beautifully without being too distracting (though I know she does a fantastic job with full-drama falsies too for those who feel best with more glamour! She is absolutely a swiss army knife of styles.) I can't wait to work with the team again now that I'm back on the 'behind-the-scenes' side of weddings. istel did such a flawless job. Nikki gave me the bullet proof glamour curls of my dreams. I was worried about the hair not lasting, but the trial hair lasted me 3 days, so I knew it would be perfect for my long wedding day. Not only that, in order to be ready for my morning Vietnamese tea ceremony (since we had it same day as our western wedding) these girls has to be ready to rock and roll at 6:30AM. They showed up 15 minutes early & did such a great job doing all my my bridesmaids hair/makeup & my mother. Kristel was also able meet back with us at our second location, on a busy Satural in Seattle, to do our touch-ups. 10/10 would recommend!

quickly since we were just chatting the whole time. Both Kristel & Nikki were very accommodating to my preferences & requests, but they’re also professionals who honestly told me what they thought would look best on me. At the end of the trial session, they told me to look at the mirror and told them everything that I wanted them to change. They fixed a couple of things and told me to reach out to them if I thought of other things later that day. I sent a long email to Kristel the following day with some more adjustments, and on my wedding day, they did everything perfectly, just like what I imagined! Ladies, definitely buy the package that includes a trial session. Trial session is so worth it! On the wedding day, Kristel & Nikki did hair & make up for me, my bridesmaids & moms (6 hair & 6 makeup in total) and they were so efficient in their work (they did all of that in 4.5 hours)! Also, the makeup stayed great for the whole day! When we did the photo session under the cherry blossom tree, it was raining outside, but the makeup stayed great for the ceremony and reception. The pictures by the waterfront and the wedding cake were taken 6-7 hours after they finished doing my hair & makeup, and they still looked flawless. I would definitely recommend Kristel & Nikki to anyone!
