Their studio is amazing. I attended a mid-day concert event with students from UT’s school of Opera.

KMFA is one of my two favorite radio stations. I wake up to it every morning and it accompanies me throughout the day. It's my favorite way to stay calm in traffic and while I work at my desk.

Went to an Austin Unconducted performance. Love this venue for the intimacy, you're so close to the musicians and can really feel the music. Parking can be tricky with a larger vehicle.

First rate studio. Beautiful new facility. Welcoming staff. Decades of classical music broadcasting.

The audience for classical music is declining precipitously worldwide, in spite of sophistical denials. KMFA tries to appeal to people desperate for any kind of relief from country western and urban. But it plays mostly what sounds a lot like...
very simple Renaissance style dance tunes. No complexity. No profundity.
