Her cakes are delicious- her decorating and displays are breathtaking. Joann is definitely direct and will tell you what to do and when/how to do it. If you don’t like a direct- to...
the point baker, I would suggest finding someone else. However- it didn’t bother me and I found it helpful in having someone tell ME what to do with the cake display setup.

dding cake fountain not only didn’t turn out the way it should have, but it caused a lot of stress in my wedding. A family member got this wedding cake fountain as a gift and it didn’t even arrive with all the parts. We called the day of and basically got told too bad. We were in a daily remote area where we didn’t have the option to “just” go get parts that were supposed to be sent. While beautiful, we weren’t able to put it together properly. We spent so much time packing it and my poor mom got charged so much money because it arrived back damaged. I am upset that this happened to my family member on top of the stress it caused on me wedding day. She packs things away more carfuls than anyone I know and to accuse her if purposely damaging it was a disgrace. I actually wish she never went to this company and we don’t reccomend it.

I ran across Joanne at the world of weddings at State Fair Park over 2 years before our wedding and I wanted to put a deposit down at that moment. Her cakes are masterpieces second...
to none. If you want that "Wow" affect for you wedding cake you need to go with the Knock Shoppe. Don't let her location or office fool you on what she can do. She can customize your cake to whatever you want and if you see something that should be added, she'll put it on the cake. I don't feel her price point is too much for that, can I say it again, "Wow" factor. When we had our pictures at the cake cutting it seemed like the paparazzi was there with all the cameras. I've been to over 200 weddings and have never seen that many people taking pictures and I'm sure a lot had to do with the cake.

tier stand was lite up with lights. Another thing thats awesome about the stand is that the tier stands are stackable even after you remove the cakes so your cake table still look georgous. The whole table was set up and decorated by The Knock Shoppe. Family and friends are still asking us about our cake.

ed. It was just what I pictured and I didn't even tell her how I wanted the butterflies. We got a lot of compliments on the cake and there were a few people who didn't realize that it was the cake because it was lit up. The cake itself was delicious, very moist and just the right sweetness of the frosting. The price is a little high but it was worth it.

These cakes are unique in that they are lighted by the stands fountains and lighted plates.;There was little option in terms of frosting desings (all white and a limited number o...
f designs) and the shop is a ways out in the woods. You also have to have someone take back all of the stands plates etc. the next day which may be out of the way.
