We decided to do a second line after our reception so we could continue the party elsewhere. It was one of the most talked about experiences during our wedding weekend! We had Knockaz take care of the permitting and had the grand marshall. We danced through the street for who knows how long, but a friend the other day told me she could've gone for another 30 mins because it was so much fun! Knockaz really threw it down. They are so energetic, the music will have you buzzing, and this is an experience you will not regret adding to your wedding day.

Deciding to do a second line with Knockaz Brass Band was one of the best decisions we made! When I tell you that you will not regret it, I’m being completely serious. Like every bead of sweat streaming down our faces/bodies was well worth it. They took care of permits, planned the route, and entertained the heck out of all of us. It has only been 1.5 months since our wedding but people still talk about this experience. Definitely throw in the extra cash for a grand marshal - he was pretty awesome. Overall, friendly folks, great music, and lively entertainment that will be remembered forever!

Knockaz and the second line after our wedding ceremony were easily one of the highlights of our wedding day! People couldn't stop talking about how much fun it was and how great the band was. They played all of the classics and kept us moving even on a hot summer's day in New Orleans. They were super professional - showing up early but not interrupting the ceremony, and they perfectly led us along the route they'd planned on Esplanade Ave. Knockaz is fantastic!

Highly recommend!! We had a small destination wedding in New Orleans, and decided to do a second line to Bourbon Street for an after party. Being from Massachusetts, none of our guests had experienced a second line before. They planned the route for us which made planning from a distance so easy, and our guests LOVED it (so did we)!

If you are doing a wedding in New Orleans, you must do a second line and you MUST book Knockaz Brass Band!!! I don't know the first thing about getting permits or planning routes for these types of events but Knockaz Brass Band takes care of everything with their parade planning package!! Knockaz was one of our and our guests' favorite parts of the wedding! Everyone, out-of-towners and locals alike, had so much fun and couldn't stop talking about the second line. We did the package with parade planning. The Knockaz team took care of logistics from planning the route to selecting the songs. They also worked closely with our wedding coordinator to make sure we were keeping a reasonable pace in order for the space to be flipped between the ceremony and reception. Knockaz Brass Band was amazing !!! It’s hard planning a wedding from a different state . Herman was so easy to work with . Very professional and responded in a timely manner even during Hurricane Ida. Due to the Covid and Hurricane Ida we had to postpone our wedding 2 months later . Talk about a stressed out of state bride . Knockaz Brass Band was able to accommodate my new wedding date with no problem . Once the band came out OMG everyone was amazed. We had the Tramps(Indian dancers ) along with the band was amazing . Everyone was synced so well with each other . My wedding guest had a great time and still talking about today . We planned our wedding from out of state and wanted to keep New Orleans traditions as much as possible. We hired Knockaz to perform our ceremony music and later our wedding party surprised us by hiring them for a small second line parade at City Park. They were absolutely my favorite part of the day! The band was well dressed and very professional. They played amazing and went with the flow of the ceremony and parade. Their prices were so affordable and worth every penny spent. I highly recommend them!

The Knockaz were my easiest vendors to work with during the wedding. Literally, if there was such a thing as a "set it and forget it" vendor, it's these guys! THESE GUYS ARE THE BEST! We hosted our wedding at Marché and they led us through the Dutch Alley after our ceremony before our reception. The Knockaz Brass band is amazing! This was the highlight of our wedding day. They arrived right on time and planned the entire route of our second line with police escort. We had about 150 guests in our wedding party so it was a sight to be seen! They brought great music and energy to the wedding day and everyone said it was the most fun they’ve ever had at a wedding. This was the highlight of our wedding! How PERFECTLY IT WENT! As soon as our officiant announced the second line, Knockazz started playing an awesome tune right outside the venue leaving our guests feeling excited and confused! Our out of town guests (50% were from New England) said this was the most fun they've ever had at a wedding. They take care of EVERYTHING. I think I had maybe 4 conversations with them, and then wedding day they show up right on time. I never gave it a second thought. Musicians through and through, they are the spirit of New Orleans. What a fun brass band! We hired them for our wedding second line and they delivered an outstanding performance. They came into our venue and played while leading our guests outside. They were patient with us when we needed to stop for photos. They even stuck around after we reached our second line destination and played for our guests. We booked Knockaz for 7/12 for our second line at our wedding at Press Street Station. Due to tropical storm Barry we were forced with the tough decision to cancel and completely reschedule or to hold the wedding a day early at a whole new venue. I thought I would have to cancel the band and be out the money. Knockaz came together and came to my wedding on 7/11 at our new venue. Our guests were blown away as we second lined in Jackson Square and they were so fantastic that we even made the news. I can not recommend them more. You will not regret spending the money and so many people have told me that they were the most memorable part of our day. Thanks so much !

Knockaz didn't know they were playing for a tough crowd of musicians but they wow-ed everyone, and kicked off our second line with a song my husband played in high school marching band—even had him high-stepping down the street. So happy we could support talented, young musicians. Punctual and took care of planning our route as well.

THEY WERE THE BEST! We couldn't believe how much fun we had with them. So much energy and great music. There was a point when we could hear everyone singing the words to one of the songs they were playing and it gave us chills! We turned around and stopped the line so we could sing and dance with everyone. I can tell you I wasn't sure I wanted a second line, but when it finally happened I couldn't be happier. Knockaz brought the entire house down on our wedding day. My family and friends could not stop talking about how amazing this brass band was, and our out of town friends/family were blown away by how my husband and I had such a "New Orleans Wedding" and how much fun they had dancing away with the help of this band. At one point, one of our relatives commented about how this band would just play faster....and faster...and faster...and somehow my husband, friends, and I just kept dancing faster and faster and faster along with them to the point where you can see the sweat through some of the groomsmen's jackets in pictures. This was exactly what my husband and I wanted. We wanted to have the most fun wedding we possibly could have, and we were able to achieve that because of Knockaz. To this day, months later, some of my friends and family still bring up this band in conversation and how amazing of a time it all was.
