From seating charts to welcome signs to wedding party favors and digital design, Knockout is your one-stop-shop for all things personalized. Whether you need a few items to help guests easily navigate your event or want to wow your guests with the works, Katie will work closely with you to create the perfect custom calligraphy moments.
Knockout provides day-of details to add special touch like place cards, tabletop signs, favor tags, and more. She can also create personalized gifts and favors for your other wedding events like showers and bachelor/bachelorette parties. Katie loves talking through ideas and is always happy to recommend what's best for wording, materials, and keepsakes. Rental items like mirrors, window panes, chalkboards, and vases are also available for your convenience. Katie welcomes porch pick-up for local clients or on-site delivery.

her enough! From start to finish, she was a dream to work with. Not only is she incredibly talented, but she's also friendly, approachable, and genuinely cares about bringing your vision to life.
I had a very specific vision for my wedding signage, especially for the seating chart, and Katie completely nailed it. She took my ideas and turned them into something stunning and unique, all while keeping the vibe fun and personal—nothing too stuffy or formal, just perfectly "me." The attention to detail in her work is unmatched, and I was in awe of how everything came together.
About three months before the wedding, I decided to add a custom beer sign since my husband is a brewer, and we planned to have a variety of beers on offer. Katie was so accommodating and seamlessly added this to our order. Not only did she create the perfect sign, but she also helped me repurpose a chalkboard I found in the trash, turning it into something beautiful and functional! Her creativity and resourcefulness really shone through in that moment.
In addition to the beer sign, Katie made us a gorgeous welcome sign and helped bring my vision of a fun, chalkboard-inspired wedding to life, especially since we were getting married at an old high school. She was flexible and worked with us through every step of the process, always checking in and making sure everything was exactly what I wanted. There were times when I couldn’t quite put my ideas into words, but Katie had an amazing ability to take my vague descriptions and translate them into perfect designs every time.
But beyond her skill and professionalism, Katie is just *so nice*—a true joy to work with! She made me feel completely at ease throughout the entire process, and I couldn’t have asked for a better vendor to be a part of my special day.

I really appreciated how I could share my loose ideas with her, and she’d come back with a variety of creative and thoughtful suggestions. It felt like a true collaboration—fun, inspiring, and extremely helpful. Honestly, she's made me want to consider a career in lettering for weddings.
Once I booked her, she sent over a well-organized Google folder with everything we needed, including a clear timeline (which made my type A heart so happy!). She also made it super simple to provide all the necessary information for signage—names, formats, you name it. Katie made the whole experience seamless and stress-free.
Plus I LOVE my signage. It was perfect, exactly what I was looking for to add to the decor and overall vision of the wedding.

We first found Knockout Lettering when our original invitation envelope calligrapher ...
stopped responding and we needed our envelopes completed in a short timeframe. Katie responded quickly and was able to do our envelopes in a rush timeframe at a reasonable cost. Several people who received our invitations noted that Katie's work was so good they couldn't tell if the envelopes were printed or handwritten.
After our experience working with Katie for our envelopes, we decided to work with her for our wedding signs for our April wedding too. She provided our seating chart and signage for our bar, card table, guestbook, and sweetheart table. We were able to rent an easel and frame from her and we were surprised that we were able to keep several of our custom pieces. Katie absolutely nailed what we were hoping for and she made our wedding come to life with her work.
Katie is also extremely organized and responsive. She was easy to get in touch with for any questions we had and provided us a google doc to include all the details for our signs and seating chart. We did notice one small error in the doc, and Katie fixed it immediately. When we picked up our signs, everything was wrapped, labeled, and had opening instructions written on them, if needed. Our venue also commented on how well organized everything was and how easy it was for them to know where to place everything.
Overall, we had an incredible experience working with Katie and would welcome the chance to work with her again in the future!

We ended up asking Katie to create table numbers, a seating chart, welcome sign, bar menus, memorial table sign, phone guest book sign, and cards & gifts sign. She color-matched the acrylic signs perfectly to our palette and linens. She used the perfect font and added playful doodles that fit the vibe beautifully. Pickup and dropoff were seamless and she was incredibly accommodating of our schedules.
All of this aside, Katie is just a lovely person and so easy to work with. When we dropped off signage, Katie seemed so genuinely happy for us and commented on how much joy she had seen at the wedding through our social media. We initially sought out Katie because of her chalkboard signage that matched our Bok wedding perfectly, but we got so much more than that and are so grateful.

is a pleasure to communicate with; prompt, courteous, and even fun to talk to! She brings excitement to the planning of your wedding and you can tell she truly enjoys what she does. THE FINISHED PRODUCT!! Oh my god!! I had my table assignments written on two mirrors that she rented to me and guests gushed all night over what a lovely touch it was and all took pictures of themselves standing next to or looking at their table assignments on the mirrors. She also made our signature drink signs that were named after our two dogs and drew little cartoons of each pooch from pictures I had sent to her. I will remember this detail forever and have the drink sign framed and hung in our kitchen. It was such a special way to include our fur babies into our special day without having them there physically and of course again the endless guest compliments on how special those little details were had me smiling all night. I highly recommend this vendor and am not sure five stars is enough!
