Diana is also really well connected in the wedding world and had excellent vendor recommendations - all people she’s worked with before and has great relationships with. Everything ran so smoothly, and it felt like we were working with one big, cohesive team.
It was such a time and money saver to have her handle our florals and rentals too. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous, and she helped us stay under budget. I had total confidence in all of her recommendations and it was a huge stress relief to let go of some of the details.

THE PROCESS - From the very first call, she made us feel understood, supported, and genuinely was excited to take on my vision! She helped figure things out from me, and even helped me with my wedding colors. Without Diana, I would have been overwhelmed. I worried about nothing! She would do check-ins with me to make sure we were on track, and helped with vendors and ideas to make our wedding special. If you don't have table numbers, she's got you? Uh-oh. Officiant backed out? SHE CAN EVEN MARRY YOU! Losing your mind on contacting vendors? She already contacted them and has them in the loop. Her organization? Flawless. We even got a discount from a vendor who works with her, which helped us so much!
THE HAPPILY EVER AFTER - On the day of the wedding, she made sure I had everything I needed. Water, emergency kit, I mean... you name it... she had it. She was my literal Fairy Godmother. She brought everything to life in a way I couldn't put into words. She handled every situation with grace and was calm, even when I was nervous and excited and couldn't think. about logistics and how the day would go and wondered on things like if I have 100 guests do I order extra water glasses? (She’s was truly a saint taking the time to talk me through all of it) I had only attended one wedding in my life and I just felt like I was taking a shot in the dark with so many things. She simplified everything for me and made it so easy to navigate (while I still tightly held her hand the whole time because she was an amazing support system). Diana even took the extra time to go to the flower market with me and she created my bouquet and all the other bridesmaids bouquets, boutonnieres, and other floral arrangements which gave my wedding an extra personal touch. Diana has an amazing list of resources when it comes to vendors which made it much easier for us to plan a very DIY wedding. Also, Diana has a great relationship with an impressive list of wedding venues which helped us lock down our spot on the beaches of San Clemente. We were a really chaotic couple to work with due to our unpredictability and distance but Diana accommodated for us and was an absolute pleasure to talk to and plan with. She really helped me (bride) stay calm and plan from thousands of miles away. She broke the planning down into realistic and attainable steps, which made wedding planning feel a lot less stressful. Diana also provided AMAZING vendor recommendations when we didn't know where or how to look for them. She helped rally them all together, created a beautifully detailed timeline, and worked with all of them on the wedding day to ensure that our day was as magical as it could be. She knew what our priorities were as a couple (food and photos) and made sure that the wedding day reflected that as well. Several things went wrong on the wedding day as well but Diana remained flexible, took charge, and helped fix whatever needed fixing.

I thought I would be able to plan on my own since I had 2 years, but I was extremely busy with work. I hired some main vendors, but I didn't have time to look into other vendors or plan designs/decor or put things together. Diana would always follow up, and was patient even though I had a busy work schedule. A few months before the wedding, I asked Diana to help me with the rest of the planning because I just didn't have time anymore. She was really understanding and took care of everything else I needed to do and whatever was necessary. I was on a budget, and wanted something pretty but simple. Diana was helpful and honest, and recommended what I needed or didn't need in order to stay in a budget. She recommended any remaining vendors that I needed and took care of all communication to the vendors and put everything together for the wedding day. She always helped communicate with the venue, because they were in construction for a really long time. I let her handle all the decor and designing of the ceremony and reception, because I didn't have time and I was happy with how everything turned out. I used to be really stressed out every day trying to plan for the wedding when I was working 40+ hours a week, but once I asked Diana to help take over, I became stress free and I was able to enjoy the day. wedding in two languages from across the county (we live in Boston but got married in Malibu) and Diana Belle was an angel to work with. Not only was she super knowledgeable about vendors and timelines and logistics, but she also has amazing style and taste. Because we were flying cross country, I didn’t want to bring a ton of wedding decor with us, but she has an amazing decor package that covered everything we needed. Everyone raved about how beautiful our wedding was and it was all thanks to our fairy godmother Diana.

R IN THE WORLD?! From the moment I found her I knewwwwwww she was the right one. Like a typical guy, my husband had decided that we did not need a wedding planner. He was sure we could do it on our own (Umm yeah no). Previous to finding Diana, we had spoken with 5 other planners. 3 Ghosted us, the fourth was planning on doing one other wedding on our day and the 5th was out of our price range. Let me save you all the hassle now and tell you to HIRE DIANA NOW!!!!
After our first email exchange we set up a Zoom meeting the next day and we were sold. She understood the vision. We hired her 1 years and 5 months from our wedding. Throughout the whole process she truly was our fairy godmother. She was always a quick text away. It was not at all a client/vendor relationship, she really is a friend and advocates for you. She has so many connections and she does her best to find what’s best for you. All of this instilled a confidence in me. She really does have the best ideas.
Wedding day came around and I really let go!!! She had a conversation with me the week of the wedding to remind me to really enjoy my day. The day of my wedding something clicked in my head, I was marrying my best friend and a new chapter was starting for me. I’m a total type A person, but for that day I left it all to Diana and it really was the best day of my life.
When I say she “got it” I mean she TRULY got it! The ceremony started promptly and may I say we were ahead of schedule the WHOLE day?! When do you hear that about weddings?!
I also want to add that her assistant Laura is such a sweetheart. She came to introduce herself to me and gave me a quick rundown to remind me to just enjoy my day.
It was during our first dance that I looked past my husband and we both looked into our reception and saw the flickering candles and all of the details Diana and Laura put all over our venue and we just started balling our eyes out. It was such a dream. There was no issue that I had to resolve, they took care of everything.

the Covid-19 pandemic. Once it was made clear that things had to be postponed for the following year, Diana stood by us and helped us stay calm through it all. She was always professional, but through these tough times she really became a friend. She kept me updated with new Covid-19 regulations regarding gatherings and what that meant for our wedding all while making sure we were still on track for the following year.
When you book Knots and Belles, you are provided with information and resources including an online packet made up of spreadsheets that will keep your "To Do's" on track. This includes, but not limited to, budgeting, guest list tracking, vendor tracking, gallery of her own rental furniture etc.
SHE WILL TAKE CARE OF YOUR VENDORS FOR YOU!!!-- you heard that right-- you just need to find what vendors you want, book them, and Diana will handle the back and forth and organize a united front. She will be their point of contact leading up to the wedding and on the actual wedding day. NOBODY should have a reason to BOTHER YOU THE DAY OF!! She and her assistant Laura are amazing at organizing everyone-- it is as if they build an army for you, and all you have to do is share your vision and attend your wedding and HAVE FUN!
Lastly, Diana comes with several great vendor recommendations for any budget. She respects your budget and will make sure you stick by it by helping prioritize what is most important and weed out the unnecessary. Budget was very important to us, we understand that they are a huge expense, but hiring Diana was definitely an investment that payed off. We love her and her assistant, Laura. I was almost not going to have my wedding day that day and postpone it for next year, however; Diana Helped me decided to still have it and not let covid affect my day. The process of postponing has inevitably been stressful and emotional, but Diana has truly been such a support to me on a level that goes deeper than our professional relationship. She gave recommendations as to how to stay in budget, gave her honest and much appreciated opinions on decor & extras, and keeps a timely checklist leading up to the big day. Diana is very organized and even provides her couples with spreadsheets to help with the planning process! Days leading up to the wedding, Diana confirmed all our hired vendors and sent them the the final wedding day timeline, giving us a piece of mind!
On the rehearsal day, Diana led us through the processional, ceremony details and recessional with complete patience & professinalism! I had no idea what a mess rehearsal day could be without a true leader with knowledge of ceremony etiquette.
On wedding day, Diana arrived to the venue early, handling all delivieries and vendor check- ins. We had nothing to worry about as we knew we were in good hands. The timeline Diana had created for us allowed us to enjoy the entire day! Not once did we feel rushed and the entire day ran smoothly. If anything did go wrong, neither my husband and I knew as everything seemed perfect. Our ceremony started on time, grand entrance and dinner were as scheduled and the entire night was enjoyable. The last thing my husband and I wanted was for our wedding day to fly by. I’m happy to say we were able to enjoy every moment. I especially loved how Diana reminded us to take deep breaths and take it all in. There was one point in the night where Diana came up to me and said, “stand over there (balcony overlooking our reception) and look over your reception, it’s so romantic!” I followed her lead and will forever remember that moment.
Diana and her team are true professionals who we would highly recommend! She worked well with our family (which is a tough task in itself!) and bridal party. She was completely respectful, yet assertive enough to get everyone where she needed them when she needed them. Thank you for an unforgettable wedding day!
