Words cannot express just how grateful we are to have found Victoria. After interviewing a number of photographers, we knew that Victoria was our girl from our very first phone conversation. She was professional, took great notes, and even joined us at the venue for our rehearsal dinner so that she could scope out the location. She was a dream to work with - jumping right in to ensure we got the shots we requested. Less than a week after our wedding she sent us about 10-15 of our sunset photos so that we could enjoy them as we waited for the rest of the photos. We were so happy to receive them and can't wait to get the rest of our photos. SHE IS WORTH EVERY PENNY. BOOK HER!!!

Victoria and Joe are such an amazing couple with a true gift for capturing precious moments. We couldn't have asked for a better team to capture our wedding and engagement photos! Victoria directed us into different positions for the best photos without looking staged as the candid shots are a fav and WOW they didn't disappoint!! We also love how Joe personalizes his videography with custom music that he creates🤩 We are truly blessed to have found them and I recommend them to my friend's stationed on the main island and people visiting lol. My hubby and I are military members stationed out of Boston but decided to do a smaller wedding in Hawaii with our families. They made cross country communication simple and easy with quick response times and open communication. We'll 10/10 hire them again when we go back to Hawaii (even if we go to a different island!) Side note, they also make amazing recommendations and suggestions for things to-do, see and eat in the local area! It's not often you get such a great work ethic and personable people, dedicated to getting the best photos for each of their couples. They were so incredibly professional throughout our whole elopement process in their communication, planning, and quality photos. Not only that, but they were so much fun to spend time with!! We felt so comfortable with them almost as if we were old friends hanging out. Victoria spent time meeting with us ahead of time via videochat to ensure that our special day was everything we dreamed of. She didn’t have to spend so much time throughout the planning process communicating with us, but it was clear that it was important to them that we had the kind of day we envisioned. It meant a lot to us. Her and Joe are true experts. They handled our marriage paperwork, their timing of everything was impeccable (photos at various locations, timing the sunset with our ceremony, etc..), the ceremony they wrote for us was beautiful, Joe’s song for our first dance was stunning, and they knew all of the secret spots for fabulous photos. Everything was just perfect, that we couldn’t imagine how it could all be captured in pictures but these two certainly managed to do so. Our photos blew us away - these two are talented in every aspect of the elopement process. I cannot recommend Knots in the Pines enough!

Victoria and Joe are one of the most down to Earth, kindhearted, and uniquely talented couples my wife and I have ever met. From the very first consultation call, we knew we were in good hands. The time they spent getting to know us and the questions they asked about our lives made us feel respected and like we had known them for a lifetime already. They had everything in place for our ceremony when we arrived in Utah, so our marriage license and permits were all set. They are very communicative before the wedding day to make sure everything is perfect and planned for. Joe did a lovely job officiating our ceremony and even slid in a very heartfelt line about our elderly dog. Victoria is truly a photography wizard and made us look and feel so relaxed and natural. There are over 860 photos of our day and we still can't decide which are our favorites to print and frame. The dinner they provided for us was amazing and honestly shocking that they were able to produce that quality out in the wilderness. My wife's bouquet was flawless and added so much warmth to our photos. Ending the day with Joe playing Harvest Moon on his guitar while we danced in the moonlight was unforgettable. Choosing Knots in the Pines as our elopement planner was one of the best decisions we have ever made. Cannot recommend them enough for anyone looking to capture a special day or wedding day.

I am a wedding photographer myself, and when it came time to plan my own destination wedding, I found Victoria and never looked back. From our first phone call, I felt her warmth and deep understanding of and passion for wedding photography. Victoria and Joe are beyond amazing. My husband and I knew we wanted something intimate and special. When we first spoke to Victoria about eloping in Hawaii she was immediate to respond to us and jumped on a zoom call to really get to know us and what we wanted. I can’t express how much that meant to us. Especially since a lot of others we had talked to would only reply email or call. Victoria was ;attentive from the beginning and really gave that personal touch that took our experience above and beyond. We kept in touchmonths of planning and she reassured me every part of the way that she was scoping for the perfect places and took into consideration our dreams and wishes for that day. I will tell you she did not disappoint. When we arrived in Hawaii she had every detail planned from the Volcano to the most beautiful waterfall picked out and the final location for waterfront photos. Joe was such a calm and peaceful ordainer. He took our love story and made it into a customized ceremony just for us and his singing and playing of guitar for our first song was absolutely perfect! The small touches though is what made this day more than we could of imagined. The packing of snacks and water for me and my husband, the helping us with our hiking gear and the ceremony book along with Victoria helping us with our custom flower crown, my husbands Lei and she made a wonderful bouquet for me! It truly made us feel just blessed and like our good friends were helping us get married and make a special day just that much more special. The photos capture the beauty of that day and the video my gosh is so professionally done. We cried looking over all the photos and videos and for good reason, they capture our love for each other but also the art of how natural and gifted Victoria and Joe are in their work. We are forever grateful and if you are looking for an adventure wedding, elopement or photos in general trust me when I say Victoria and Joe are the best there is. Victoria made us feel so confident and beautiful in our photos. We’re plus sized bride and groom with an interesting Halloween venue. Her photos turned out amazing! We had multiple comments from guests and the bridal party about how professional and funny she was. She also was great at the small details, helping me choose a last minute shawl that just turned out amazing. She even helped my husband figure out his boutennierre. She paid attention to all the small details and went above and beyond.

Victoria and Joe were undoubtedly, whole-heartedly the most amazing wedding photographers. They were so quick with communication leading up to and after the big day, and I never felt out of the loop. The pictures they took really captured the fun we had, highlighted all the best parts of our elopement, and could not have been more breathtaking. My husband and I had never had pictures professionally done, so we were a bit worried about it being awkward - but Victoria and Joe made everything so easy, and SO fun. My husband and I are from Alabama, and while we had been to Zion once before, Victoria really helped us narrow down where to go, the best locations, and it made the day SO much easier! Where do I begin?? To say that Victoria and Joe were amazing before, during, and after our wedding day would be an understatement. To start off Victoria and her husband Joe were absolutely amazing from beginning to end. During the hike they were a blast to talk to and get to know, and their stories were so much fun. My now husband and I traveled cross country to work with them and it was truly worth it as we could not picture our wedding day an other way.

Hiring Victoria and her husband Joe for our wedding day was the best decision we could have ever made! We eloped to the Grand Tetons to have a ceremony by Jenny lake at sunrise. Victoria did all of the hard work of finding the perfect spot by the lake the day before and scouting the hiking trails for snow. The spot she picked couldn't have been more perfect! Joe was a wonderful officiant / musician / photographer / hiking guide! It felt as if we had been friends with them for a long time. They helped to make our wedding day the most wonderful day of our lives. They were worth every penny and more, and I can't recommend them enough! If you're thinking about hiring them, do it! You won't want anyone else to go on this special adventure with!

Officially obsessed with the photos Victoria took of our wedding. With COVID-19, our original plan had to be changed significantly. Victoria had already taken such care to help us determine the right package and what photos we'd want on our day, and she made the transition to a small ceremony and big party next year seamless. The composure and lighting of the photos is beautiful. She makes couples feel at ease, even if it's your first time meeting her. She's committed to getting every shot you want (or don't realize you want!), and is meticulous about finding the right locations for your photos. We were so impressed with her professionalism and energy. We found a real gem in Victoria and can't wait to work with her again.

And let’s be honest how many people like being in front of the camera? She was able to make both the bride and groom comfortable as she was taking their photos. We highly recommend Joe and Victoria for anyone’s wedding needs! They went above and beyond and exceeded our expectations. We appreciated their help and guidance from the first day we spoke with them. They took care of all of the tedious details and put us at ease. They scouted different areas in the Uinta Mountains and planned our ceremony to perfection. Both Victoria and Joe were accommodating and confidently worked with a group of people, which is not always an easy task! We very much enjoyed their easy going, fun, and adventurous presence. From taking pictures lying down in the grass to even climbing trees! Yes, trees! They did everything they could to capture the most perfect pictures and memories. We eloped in Snow Canyon, UT on 06/14/2020. Victoria and Joe made the experience unforgettable. We worked together with them to plan a customized elopement. Joe officiated the ceremony and it was absolutely perfect. The photography was stunning and we will cherish these photos forever. The value of this experience with Victoria and Joe is a bargain for the experience they deliver! These two seriously know what they are doing. I could not recommend more. 10/10!!!

I am so so so not surprised to see Victoria's 5 star rating on the Knot! I am sure I speak for all other brides when I say that 5 stars is simply not enough! Victoria and her husband, Joe, are the darn cutest couple and their energy and excitement for their job is contagious! My husband and I feel so blessed to have found Victoria and Joe for our ceremony. They truly did it all - took beautiful photographs, officiated a beautiful ceremony, played guitar for our dance, picked up our flowers (side note - Apiana Blooms makes gorgeous bouquets!) and on top of all that, provided absolutely amazing company to celebrate with! Sometimes while planning your wedding you can feel as though you are just a customer to some vendors, but not with these two! They CARE!! They are in the business of making lovely memories and boy do they do it well! My husband and I had our ceremony in Bryce Canyon, and it was just pure magic. The only bad part of the experience was when we realized we had a plane ticket home from Utah and couldn't adventure regularly with this lovely couple! To say that I could not recommend this dream team enough is an understatement. My new life goal will be convincing all my friends in the Midwest to get married in the West just so they can experience Victoria and Joe's magic - and so we have an excuse to visit again!

Victoria was absolutely wonderful to work with. My husband and I were planning our wedding from out of state, and I was nervous about orchestrating everything from afar. Victoria immediately put my fears to rest. Her enthusiasm over the phone was contagious, and she offered all kinds of advice and encouragement. Our wedding was on New Year’s Eve, and were hoping to get some photos under the Park City fireworks, but since we hadn’t ever been to the venue on New Year’s Eve, we had no idea where we’d need to be positioned. Victoria scouted the place out ahead of time, found the perfect spot at the top of snow bank, and got us several absolutely amazing photos under the fireworks! I can’t say enough to recommend Victoria. She’ll do an incredible job for you and make the whole experience painless and stress-free.

Our wedding was at one of our favorite Utah parks and we wanted a photographer that would capture the incredible natural beauty around us, our family and friends, and the candid moments that made it special. Victoria delivered our dream photos on every level and truly captured the magic of the day exactly how we'd imagined! We had the absolute best photo session with Victoria, and would hire her again in an instant! We were lucky enough to find her page and book a session after reading glowing reviews. She spent the time answering all of my questions before our session, drove quite a long way to our location, and coached us through our photo shoot (in 1 degree weather!) with extreme patience. Victoria room our engagement photos on a whim with two weeks planning during the holidays. In the snow she was an absolute champion, and directed us how to lose. Even the artistic photos she took were fantastic! She was great at responding during the set up, giving direction, and even letting things happen organically when my love and I had moments. I would definitely recommend Victoria - the photos turned out great, and there's a fantastic variety of traditional, serious, organic, and casual shots in the final prints.

Victoria took our engagement photos. A couple days prior to the photos, it was obvious the the location was going to receive a significant amount of snow. Victoria worked with us to make it out there, hike a couple miles, and she took the most amazing photos! She was always quick to respond to questions, provided advice on attire, etc. She does not seem to shy away from an adventure and really did take some amazing shots that I and my fiancée will always be grateful for. I have a separate photographer for my wedding at home in Minnesota, but now I feel like I may need to take some adventure bridals with her in the future!

Victoria is an amazing photographer!!!!! My daughter and son in law had a destination wedding at a beautiful home in Eden, Utah. The wedding was delayed 2 hours because of heavy rains and a hailstorm, which resulted in large quantities of mud...everywhere. Without complaint Victoria was stomping, sitting, crawling and kneeling through it to take some of the most amazing photos I've ever seen. Her vivacious personality was a pleasure to be around, if she lived on the east coast we'd have her photo every holiday, birthday and get together we have. I can't thank her enough for capturing every minute of my daughter's wedding in pictures for us to cherish forever. On a scale of 1-10, Victoria easily gets a 30 from me.

Victoria was absolutely fabulous to work with from start to finish! I booked her for a wedding package that included engagements, bridals, and wedding day. We talked long before our first session so she could get to know my style and research locations that fit what I was going for. Victoria was incredibly fun to work with and is such a skilled photographer. She took the stress of photography completely off of our shoulders and allowed us to really enjoy our big day. Her photos are so beautiful I can't stop looking at them and she was able to capture all of the special little moments that I didn't want to forget. We loved Victoria so much we wanted her as an actual wedding guest! My husband and I had a small 15 guest wedding on a beautiful property in Eden, and not only did she take beautiful photos but she got right in with us and our guests. On our big day we had hail, never ending downpours and mud- so much mud! Regardless of weather Victoria was on her hands and knees, standing on chairs and crawling on our muddy dance floor just to capture us and our guests in all of our glory. She even took a trip to a near by reservoir for intimate photos of me and my husband! I’m so grateful to have had her as our photographer on our big day. Victoria was not only an amazing photographer but an expert with the Southern Utah landscape as well! Our bridal and wedding photos turned out beautifully! Victoria was my engagement photographer, and she was absolutely wonderful! She was easy to work with, responded to our questions in a timely manner, delivered our photos on time, and she was professional, punctual, friendly and so patient. My husband and I wanted some more adventurous engagement photos that incorporated our love of hiking and nature - and boy did Victoria deliver! We live in Texas but traveled to Utah for our photos. Victoria was a wealth of information and helped us determine the best location based on our wants and needs. We ended up shooting in Zion National Park, and she took our vision and made it a reality. She gently guided us through the whole process, including two outfit changes and multiple locations. My husband is camera-shy, yet she did an excellent job giving us pointers to help us feel natural and at ease, which reflected in our beautiful photos. She even waded through 40-degree river (!!!) in order to capture photos that we will cherish forever.

We have some gender non-conforming friends, and she even took the time to learn who they were, and to use gender neutral pronouns for them. Amazing. This woman was fantastic in every way! She was excellent in keeping in touch up to my big day and was always reassuring me everything will work out! We decided to do our wedding in Zion National Park and Victoria was really helpful in picking up the places to get awesome photos for/during hikes They both were super friendly, my wife said she liked the way Victoria was directing us (to change pose/angle for the photos). Just the right balance i'd say: not too few advises but not too much neither. As a photographer, she couldn't have been more professional and dedicated. She went as far as taking photos on her knees to not block the view of the camera placed in front of us or, to hike in water. She did great in capturing the event, from candid sides, to solemn, fun and cool facets of our wedding She also did an amazing work in processing the photos. Better than in my wildest dreams! I would definitely trust and recommend her for one time, important and dense events like weddings, birth, documentary/epics photos (i'm sure she can fulfill some other kind of photos assignments but i'm only talking about what i've seen) I felt like she genuinely did the very best she could (and we were extremely pleased with the result) and that she was trying hard to improve (the wedding was in a canyon in the morning -> harsh color casting and quick light changes). So by the time you read this comment, i would not be surprised if she has gotten even better ! Gaelle & Louis

My husband and I chose Victoria to photograph our wedding, and we loved her so much that when I got pregnant and decided to have a birth photographer I thought I would ask her if she’d be willing to do that too. She was and the end result for each experience we’ve had with her has always been pleasant. We’ll always cherish the memories that she was able to capture for us. Not to mention she’s so easy to work with, she goes above and beyond to make sure everything will go smoothly, and most of the time you don’t even notice she’s there. She’s punctual, easy going, and she’s really good at what she does. I highly recommend her as your photographer if you’re looking for one!

My husband and I loved having Victoria photograph our wedding. She was great at communicating and fun to work with. Her edits were beautiful and she was very reasonably priced. Overall a great experience and we couldn't be happier!
