I had high expectations as a bride for our wedding officiant, and Linda (Knots of Love by Linda) was my first, and really only choice as my mind was set on her and I did not want to/would not book with anyone else. We had met and watched her officiate my now sister in law’s wedding a year and a half prior, and I knew after the way she spoke at their ceremony she would officiate our wedding come time. Linda’s ceremonies are beautifully eloquent and personal, as she really tries to get to know you before even constructing the ceremony. We had plenty of time to fine tune our final draft, and Linda was accepting and flexible when I requested a change less than a week from our ceremony. I would recommend Linda to every couple, and if I had to do everything all over again I would rebook her.

We were absolutely thrilled with Linda as our wedding officiant! From our very first meeting, Linda made us feel so comfortable and at ease. She had previously worked at our venue and was even extremely local so it felt like the perfect match!
Linda was incredibly professional, but also so warm and personable. She took the time to learn about our relationship, our values, and our vision for the ceremony. We loved how Linda personalized the vows and ceremony to reflect who we are as a couple, making it both meaningful and heartfelt. We received numerous compliments after the ceremony on Linda!!

Choosing Linda to be our officiant was one of our best wedding decisions! She crafted the perfect ceremony for us after just a few meetings, and we couldn't be happier with how it turned out. Her communication skills and professionalism really stood out when she managed to keep our outdoor ceremony running smoothly through a light rain shower. Linda was fantastic to work with, we started planning very early on and met with Linda multiple times leading up to our wedding to go through the ceremony and she made sure it was exactly what we wanted. We felt very confident going into our wedding day that the ceremony was going to be reflective of our relationship and it was exactly what we imagined! Linda truly made our day special!

Linda from Knots of Love is beyond AMAZING!!! We could not have asked for more. From the very minute to made contact with her, she became more than just our wedding officiant. She met with us on multiple occasions to ensure our ceremony was exactly what we wanted it to be. She offered wonderful suggestions on how to make it more than we could have ever imagined. In the process of planning our ceremony Linda truly became a friend. She checked in with us to ensure we were doing okay in the craziness of planning a wedding. She offered her time and support throughout the process without hesitation. After our ceremony was over she made sure to introduce herself to each and every one of our wedding guests. We could not provide a high enough recommendation for her. We will forever remember all the time and guidance she provided and dear friendship along the way. Linda grew up in CT, but relocated often while her husband of over 45 years served in the Navy. She is a retired educator, having received her BS in Elementary Education from Bowie State University and MS in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Maryland College, both in MD. In 2019 she became a certified wedding officiant in MD and D.C. Linda works with couples to find that fine balance between creativity, tradition, and individuality to plan a creative and personalized wedding ceremony. Her passion for writing and ability to connect with couples helps her create a ceremony like no other!
