Knotting Hill is a gorgeous wedding venue between Amarillo and Canyon, TX, offering newlyweds a beautiful space to celebrate their marriage surrounded by their nearest and dearest. This site overlooks the breathtaking City Lake Canyon and boasts an aura of romance and elegance. Take a few moments after your ceremony to drive one mile to take some breathtaking photos overlooking city lake. We can accommodate up to 200 guests. We have beautiful private suites for preparations before the big day. Snap up stunning country views in and around our indoor/outdoor spaces. Caterers and out-of-house vendors are welcome. We have an online storefront where newlyweds can pick décor, signs, cake platters, tablecloths, and more while adding new items all the time. Horrible! We did not have a good experience with this venue and owner. The staff was professional and accommodating and the venue is beautiful but the owner was tacky to our gues...
ts and rushed us out of the venue by 9. Contract stated that we had to clear the venue by 11. We were also given a hard time about our flower girl tossing lavender for the ceremony. Generally family and friends send the bride a groom off early to start their honeymoon, we were told that if the bride left then everyone had to leave. Not to mention an ESA wasn't allowed and there were no ADA accommodations. My daughter's ceremony was perfect. The lack of hospitality was disappointing. After reading other reviews it seems like the owner was having a bad day. If that was the case, she could have had her assistant finish out the night. Christina was kind and helpful.
1. Guest will not move bridal mirror, it is attached to the wall
2. Guest will not leave trash outside
3. Guest will not leave children unattended inside or outside venue. That means at any time.
4. Guest will not throw cigarette butts on the ground
5. Guest will not feed or pet horses
6. All feathers must be placed in trash bag at the end of the night
7. Do Not leave cars overnight
8. Not move any rocks for any reason
9. No glass beer bottles
10. No glitter of any kind
11. No screws, nails, pinning anything to the curtains, or tape will be used in the venue.
12. No fake petals outside (fake petals on ground for any reason)
13. No confetti or rice anywhere
14. No drugs or marijuana on premises
15. I am aware that Knotting Hill staff may ask D.J. to lower music, to stay within sound ordinance.
16. DJ will not play music louder than 90 decibels. Venue can provide a decibel reader.
17. Music will be over no later than 11:30 p.m. to ensure enough time to retrieve all belongings, all guest should be out by 12 a.m.
18. I give full permission to use any photos of my fiancé and I for social media, website, or personal use.
19. No fireworks of any kind
20. I am aware that unless I purchased the princess package Knotting Hill may not have any staff to help with event.
21. No cold spark machines inside or outside
22. No fog machines inside (they set off fire alarms)
Absolutely beautiful venue! So many details available to choose from for a seamless and smooth wedding day! Made things so easy for my vision to come together for our special day. ...
I'm so thankful that out of all of the options in the area, we chose Knotting Hill! My guests loved it so much, two soon to be brides fell in love with the venue and booked for next year!
