Garrett is a co-owner of Knoxville DJ and has been djing for just over 5 years. He knows how to get any room moving with a depth of music knowledge that spans the 70s, 80s, 90s and all the modern hits. All events are in good hands when Garrett is DJing.

They seem like young guys that don't really care and want to do the least amount of work possible for the price they offer. Other reviews mention them not paying attention to the songs asked to be played, it's probably because they don't prepare at all for any individuals wedding and just do the same thing at each one.

In this case, an unexpected family emergency temporarily delayed our response time. Once we reconnected, we confirmed your date was secure and discussed your concerns. During that conversation, the possibility of parting ways and issuing a refund was discussed. Given the importance of your wedding day, we refunded your deposit in full and stepped away more than two months in advance to ensure you had time to secure another DJ.
We understand that expectations around communication were not aligned in this situation. However, the suggestion that we do not prepare for weddings or treat each event individually is not accurate. Every wedding we perform includes a structured planning process, timeline coordination, and customized music preparation tailored to each couple.
We are sorry this did not work out and truly wish you a smooth planning process and a wonderful celebration.

Additionally in the intake call, I asked him specifically to have a speaker outdoors as it was an indoor/ outdoor event and the coordinator again had to ask him to bring the speakers outside as no one was in the building (it was indoor/ outdoor event with a fire pit/ tea garden and drink truck with yard games outside). Overall, not impressed and disappointed with DJ Reed.

still knocked it out of the park. My mother mentioned how he felt like another member of the family as opposed to a vendor and I couldn’t agree more. My family, especially my parents, loves to dance and it’s safe to say the music was their favorite part of the whole wedding. My sister is a wedding photographer and she mentioned how our DJ was the first DJ she’d seen to really work at entertaining everyone and reading the room. We had so much fun at our wedding, words cannot express, and Knoxville DJ played an enormous role in that. Seriously, you will be so happy you chose them for your wedding or any DJ needs!!
