A summer breeze, a lush forest, an airy white tent, acres of green grass & your wedding day begins . . .
Welcome to Kohl Creek where we specialize in intimate weddings in a gorgeous country setting. Conveniently located just 20 minutes from Portland yet a world away nestled in the lush farmland of the Stafford area. Using creativity and your personal touch in our nature inspired venue allows couples to build personalized weddings of their dreams at an affordable price point.
You will have your choice of thick forested area or sunny meadow for exchanging nuptials. Once the ceremony is completed, head over to our event tent and let the party begin! The tent floor is comprised of pavers, ideal to use as a dance floor when it’s time to dance the night away or choose to dance barefoot in our grassy area adjacent to the tent. Next to our reception tent is our unique rustic bar where your guest will be served by our friendly staff. We do not require any food or drink minimums but instead allow couples to bring their own caterers and alcohol, (we even allow food carts!) Our wedding coordinator will help choose the best layout based on the size of your wedding as well as oversee the timeline for your day. Kohl Creek has no corkage fees, use of required vendors or added gratuities. We are willing to accommodate slightly larger weddings at our discretion, but additional tables and chairs will need to be rented by the wedding couple and surcharge will be applied.
Our Wedding Coordinator package is required and eases your mind for a seamless wedding day, packages begin at $695. Wedding Coordination contract and will be sent directly from Coordinator, and payment will be made directly to Coordinator.
Kohl Creek Golf Course can host a single-faith, interfaith, or non-religious wedding, as well as elopements, civil unions, commitment ceremonies, second weddings, and vow renewals.

Karen was amazing to work with! Highly recommended. She did everything and anything to make our day special, even moving which arch we were at when it started to rain a bit. The p...
ictures ended up being amazing and really demonstrate the dynamic setting of this venue.
We had our wedding and reception at Sandelie West last month. The venue is ideal for a rustic Pacific Northwest Wedding. I really wanted to get married in the woods but still be cl...
ose enough to Portland for easy transport of guests. This was the perfect location. You could choose between two ceremony sites, a meadow and a wooded area. We had our ceremony in the wooded area and reception under a large tent in the meadow. Our first dance was under an arch in the meadow ceremony site option. It was our photographer's dream location. Everything was absolutely stunning.
Karen, the venue contact, was a pleasure to work with. She was very helpful throughout the planning process and went above and beyond to ensure the day went smoothly. She provided many options to help with set up and spaces to rent for the bridal parties to get ready. The whole experience was wonderful. We highly recommend this venue! It was the wedding of our dreams.
