Yvonne and her team at Kohler Catering were fantastic! They were every bit of professional and welcoming. Yvonne helped us narrow down the best possible wedding menu. And the food was amazing. Our guests are still talking about how great the food was! Highly recommend!!

Kohler Catering did an amazing job for our daughter's 200 guest wedding reception in July. Yvonne helped us decide the menu and guide us through the ordering process. There was great flexibility also as we ordered a couple of things that were not on their usual listing. The event was off-site at the Bushnell Center in Springfield, OH, so she she even visited a few weeks in advance to see the layout and help plan what was needed. A crew came in the day before and quickly unloaded and set up all of their supplies. The appetizer table during the cocktail hour was displayed in such an attractive way and the food was tasty too. The dinner buffet was set up in a tasteful manner and the food was hot and delicious. How do they do this? The prime rib was seasoned and cooked perfectly and was carved by a very friendly man (Dan?). Jenny, the team lead, and her team made sure that we were well taken care of; serving the bride and groom their meals, releasing the tables, clearing the tables, and they even got water for the bridesmaids bouquets. The entire team was so professional, helpful, and friendly. They served the cake for us, which was from an outside bakery, and they packed up all of the leftover food for us too. At the end of the evening they torn down the tables and set all of the table decorations to the side all together, so that our cleanup was easy the next day. The other vendors and the wedding planner even commented on what a great and thorough job Kohler's did. I highly recommend Kohler's Catering.

Kohler did an amazing job for our wedding dinner! We ordered prime rib and lemon chicken with scalloped potatoes and green beans! We are still getting great comments about our dinner from 2 months ago! It was so good to have a tasty meal as a bride!!

Kohler Catering was excellent with everything they did for our Wedding Day from the service to the food! The staff was extremely helpful and attentive to anything we needed and any questions we had. Then when it came time for the Hors D'oeuvre and Dinner the food was amazingly delicious, and we had multiple people complimenting how great everything tasted. The Carved Prime Rib was wonderful, and Sauteed Pasta Station was a big hit! We also had Kohler Catering for our Rehearsal Dinner on site at the Kohler Banquet Hall and it is a great intimate venue and the food was again delicious! I would definitely recommend anyone on the fence about what Caterer to use, to meet with Kohler Catering!

We worked with Catie. Her communication was amazing. We had asked for many changes to our projected invoicing and menu that she was happy to work through. She was helpful with all questions we had and with getting us the best price possible. During dinner service, food was presented will with the buffet. We had plenty of leftovers that the servers packed up for us. The food tasted amazing!

Yvonne and the whole team did an excellent job, attention to detail, etc.... but it all boils down to food! This is our second wedding and it was just as great as the first. All guest commented on the quality, and we thought it was spot on.

Kohler was an excellent choice for our 150 person wedding. We got rave reviews from our guests about how good the food was. Catie was so fun and easy to work with. The food was tasty, served hot, and we were able to adjust the menu to our needs. My only negative would be that it was unclear if food we asked to be dairy free was actually dairy free so be sure to get confirmation day of from the catering lead. Overall, super easy to work with, great food, and reasonable priced.

All of the staff were very professional and friendly. They worked with the venue to ensure everything went smoothly. Food was great! Would definitely recommend them.

Kohler was such an easy and perfect choice for our wedding. We worked with Catie the whole time and she always was quick to respond, had answers to all our questions, and gave us confidence in Kohler the whole way through. The food was sooo good! We received many compliments from guests not only for how good the food was, but how great the staff was. We also used their bartending services and they were absolutely amazing! Every time we went up she’d remember your order if you wanted the same thing. You need to book Kohler as one of the most stress free vendors on your list. They’ve got you and won’t let you down! Our day was perfect and they were a big part of that!

Kohler’s food is delicious! They helped us plan everything and the day of tasted better than the tasting. The only complaint we would have is that it was hard to get in contact with them via email because they did not reply quickly. But they were lovely to work with and helped our day be fantastic!

We had a great experience with Kohler Catering. I called a few caterers for my son's wedding, and they were the most responsive, quickest to answer my questions, and gave me much-needed advice. The food was delicious and everyone involved was very professional. I can't thank Nikka enough for all her help!

Kohler Catering was wonderful to work with, Catie from their team helped with coordinating everything for our wedding day and she was very professional and answered all of our questions. The team helped make everything run smoothly that day and we couldn't have been happier.

I cannot recommend Kohler Catering enough!! We had 350+ people at our wedding and everyone kept telling us how much they loved the food and that the staff was so nice. We were so happy we chose Kohler to cater our wedding. Catie, Mr. Kohler and the whole staff did such an amazing job. We couldn't be happier with how everything turned out!

The food was excellent, and the night went really well. They were able to work with my budget and were upfront with what costs would be. Communication was difficult- I had many unanswered emails, and couldn’t always get someone on the phone. There was also no way to pay online, so I either had to mail a check or give my credit card number over the phone, which wasn’t ideal. They have a good knowledge of the Dayton art institute, which helped tremendously, and they were very professional. Overall everything worked out well, but if communication stresses you out I would think twice.

Kohler was absolutely amazing! From day one they offered many different services and customized it to your budget and vision. We worked with Catie who was extremely responsive and attentive to detail. Food was delicious and we received SO MANY compliments on it! Staff was very professional and truly care about making your wedding the best night.

About 2 months before my wedding, my venue informed me that the caterer we had booked a year prior was not acceptable. In this short of notice I was able to get in touch with Kohler and the customer service was EXCEPTIONAL. As the bride i was already stressing, I worked with Nikka and she was amazing. She was so supportive and made sure that we got the food we wanted for our wedding day even on such short notice. Then on the wedding day I was even more impressed the food was amazing and the staff was so friendly and even continued to check on guests throughout the night. Truly a great experience and I highly highly recommend this company, they truly care about their clients!

Kohler did an amazing job for our Oct 1, 2022 wedding! We did a plated meal and everything came out AMAZING and DELICIOUS. Highly recommend!!

I was really excited to work with Kohler again, as I’ve worked with them professionally in years prior and have gone to many events at their facilities…This time around was a bit disappointing, though. Two weeks before the wedding, our final balance was due. We paid it in full, verifying the full order with the admin. Everything was right - the menu selections, the count, etc. or so we thought. The sales rep we had been working with was exposed to and then got sick with Covid, so we were placed with a different sales rep. The new sales rep came in after that two weeks out payment and reverted everything to the items we had tasted in the year prior. The timeline was botched. Nothing was right. I emailed her back, the wedding coordinator we hired contacted her as well. It took MULTIPLE emails and phone calls over the course of a few days in the week before our wedding to get things right. Throughout those communications, the new rep blamed the other rep who was sick and I sed the “I’ve been here longer” excuse for things not adding up and also blamed things on the sales portal and its inadequacies. When the wedding day came, things seemed to go well. There were a few hiccups along the way, but they were SUPER small. The real kicker though is that we ended up with another bill at the end of all of this, for whatever reason. Overall the food was great, things worked out, but the lack of professionalism on the part of some of the sales reps left a little something to be desired.

Kohler has great food for a reasonable price!! they also offer many different services, such as desserts and bartending, etc. We got many compliments on our food and the bartender we hired through Kohler. They also wrapped our left over food up very good for transport home. we definitely recommend kohler for catering on your wedding day!

The food was delicious and the presentation was fantastic. Emily was wonderful to work with, she really understood exactly what we were looking for and how to make it happen since what we were looking for wasn't in their usual repertoire. She totally delivered beautiful and delicious appetizers/meals with excellent customer service and consultation. Each of our entrees were well received by guests and many of them commented their delight.

Kohler catered my wedding this past weekend and I absolutely loved everything from the food to the staff. They were extremely professional and saints for putting up with the amount of times we changed the menu!

The food was fantastic (and for a very reasonable price) and I love that they cut our cake for us and took food trash from the venue themselves! However, my personal experience working with Jennifer was not all positive (this is from the bride's perspective - I was not on site the whole day). Disclaimer: we got engaged in March and our entire wedding planning process took place in the face of constant regulation changes due to COVID-19. Despite this, we were able to do a tasting in person (the only one we got to do and the tasting was super nice and a very cute setup!) and Jennifer was really great at first about answering all our questions, being flexible when we were initially planning two weddings (1 ideal, 1 COVID backup), and taking the initiative to reach out to our venue about rules and setup. There was some difficulty working out some simple things in the contract, but otherwise, all was great! However, once regulations began to relax I think they must've been swamped because we definitely were no longer the priority. We didn't get any reminders when our 50% was due and we forgot about it until a month later -- we reached out right away and it took days (weekdays) to receive a response (so days in which I was convinced our caterer forgot about us and I was freaking out). Once that was sorted, we tried to schedule a meeting to finalize our catering menu and chat details. We were given her availability for this and we responded within a half-hour to schedule, then did not hear back for a few days (so in my mind, forgotten again...) before we scheduled a different meeting time that she ended up missing due to another meeting running late, and then she made a big deal about getting to work early for our phone meeting (the third meeting we tried to schedule, within their business hours posted online) when she was able to make it. On our wedding day, Jennifer was the only vendor to ask me questions about how to do her job... I had sent a layout of the pavilion we were using in advance, but apparently, they were not happy with where we had them setup (despite having been in contact with my venue owner and me sending them the layout in advance) and were sassy with my family about this. Included in the layout that I sent in advance were color-coded tables to indicate the three tables (all right next to each other) where the plated vegetarian meals should be sent. We had discussed in advance that they would take the plates to those tables indicated in the layout and the vegetarian guests would self-identify themselves (I warned the guests of this in advance). This was apparently confusing on the day and caused more questions to be sent my way (which as the bride trying to enjoy the day without worrying about details that were sorted in advance, I was not happy with). And then, while I'm happy they cut the cake for us, I was not happy about them nearly dropping the cake (caught by their chest), rudely snapping at the person that made our cake when they went to check on it, having multiple guests bring up both of these incidents to me, and then finding my cake topper mysteriously broken... and then I was later told they also seemed disappointed to not receive additional tips when gratuity is already included in what we paid based on our contract. So in general, was the food good and reasonably priced? Yes. Was it worth the added stress/annoyance that took my attention (however briefly) away from an otherwise perfect day? Debatable.

I can’t say enough good things about working with Kohler Catering. They went over all the details before the wedding to make sure everything went as planned. The food was hot and so many guests said how good everything was from the appetizers to main course and desserts.

Our venue had three preferred caterers and we are SO glad we went with the incredible staff at Kohler! Not only was the food prepared hot and delicious, it was the most amazing experience during a really tough time. We loved our experience picking out our menu during our tasting. There were so many delicious options but we did not feel overwhelmed because of their expertise. We had incredible communication with our contacts and they evolved with our plans every time we had to make a change due to COVID guidelines. They didn't leave out a single detail -- from requesting no sugar packets on the table to preparing a special allergy-friendly meal for me. The owner, Beth checked in on my husband and I multiple times during the night to make sure we had enough to drink and eat. Because of COVID, we had to have the bartenders deliver drinks to each table. Our guests raved about their service and speed. I cannot speak highly enough about this company - hire them today! You are guaranteed amazing food and excellent customer service. You want a company like theirs on your side during a global pandemic.

Kohler’s food and customer service were simply outstanding. They stayed in touch on all items, were wonderful when changes were needed (COVID required some changes in plans), and took such good care to adhere to safe practices. I cannot say enough about the high quality of the food and service. I would hire them again before I would check with any other caterer.

We had our Wedding Reception at Presidential Banquet Center which is Kohler Catering's event center. We are a 2020 COVID-19 wedding. We were planned for June 2020 and postponed to October 2020. Kohler was absolutely AMAZING through the whole process!!!! I cannot recommend Kohler enough! Thank you so very much Kohler!

Such a great company to hire for your wedding! We hired them because of many friends who worked for them during high school and heard good things. They were very accommodating with the COVID situation and made everything so easy! Ontop of that the food was amazing and we keep receiving so many compliments from guests. Highly recommend using them for your wedding!

Kohler Catering was AMAZING! Easily one of the best choices we made for our wedding. Their banquet space wasn't flashy, but it was very well put together and once all the tables and other decorations were set up, it was beautiful. The food was delicious and we got many, many comments on it during and after the wedding. They were easy to work with and so flexible during the pandemic; it felt like all we needed to do was come put the centerpieces on the table! We felt extremely blessed to have found them.

We could not have picked a better caterer than Kohler! Working with Beth was a total breeze. She was professional, kind, and organized. You always hear about wedding food being bland and overpriced, but it was the total opposite with Kohler!! We chose a Greek-stuffed chicken breast and braised short ribs and they were juicy, perfectly seasoned, and delicious. The pricing was very fair and the service alone was worth every penny. Beth was there with me every step of the way, and was able to make quick last-minute adjustments. I would recommend Kohler to all of my friends and family getting married in the Dayton area!

We used Kohler's for our rehearsal dinner the night before our wedding, and we also had them supply the majority of the desserts for our big day. I've known their food is amazing, but had no idea their desserts were so incredibly delicious. We had so many compliments both nights, and the service they provided from delivery, set up, serving, and clean up was top notch. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a caterer who can do it all!

We had the best experience using Kohler to cater our wedding at the Steam Plant in Dayton, OH. We had tastings and meetings to plan and day of everything was perfect!! Kohler is above and beyond and we had multiple people tell us it was the best dinner they’ve ever had at a wedding. We love the Kohlers!

Kohler's was amazing in catering my wedding! The food was absolutely amazing, all the guests raved about it being the best wedding food they ever ate! The staff was so great, they made sure all of the guests had everything that they needed and made the evening flow so nicely. Craig Kohler made our wedding cake and it was the best cake I've ever had, the groom requested peanut butter and chocolate, and Craig delivered! I would recommend Kohler's to any bride!

Kohler offers a large variety of menu and serving options for your Big Day, and the quality of their food is amazing! With the changes in regulations for COVID happening mid-wedding planning, Sue was able to work with us to get our hors d'oeuvres placed at each table, and made the catering services day-of a breeze! We will continue to seek out Kohler for all of our catering needs! Absolutely amazing company and staff.

For our wedding, we felt the most important parts (and what guests would remember) were: venue, food, and DJ. We had extremely high standards for the quality of food, how it looked in plating, and the efficiency of the serve staff. I can honestly say that Kohler far exceeded our expectations! All of our guests said that this was the most delicious food they’d ever had at a wedding and truly rivaled the food of expensive restaurants! The cocktail hour display and food were stunning and amazing and the reception plated dinner was perfect! The best part of it? It was totally affordable, too!! The staff was extremely efficient— they were able to strike that perfect balance of always being around to refill water glasses, offer coffee, clear plates, answer questions, but also being completely out of sight when we were just enjoying the food, visiting with our guests, etc. it’s like any time we needed them, they would magically anticipate our needs and manifest. Truly, caterers are a HUGE part of the day and there’s no other company I would trust with the something as important as the food on your most special day than Kohler. It’s not enough to say that they gave us a perfect day. A more accurate statement would be that they not only made our day perfect, they far, far exceeded any and all expectations we had!! There were even things that I didn’t think of for the day of and Beth was adaptive, flexible, calm, and operated with high efficiency to fill any needs we had. Highly, HIGHLY suggest using them for your event!!

We got married June 9th and Kohler killed it! Catie is my girl! She was so amazing and fun and our event was organized perfectly! We had pita caprese bites and crab cakes for cocktail hour; fried chicken and lasagna (yep, I said lasagna... amazing!) for dinner that was apart of a buffet that had a TON of food for guests. You cannot beat the wine and beer package either, it’s a hell of a deal. Most importantly, the food was delicious and the staff was incredible. To keep it real—a lot of wedding food is dry and tasteless. This was not the case with Kohler. The pricing for the buffet is incredibly affordable too! You won’t be disappointed choosing Kohler as your caterer!

Everything with Kohler and Presidential Banquet Center were great. The food was fantastic and the room looked amazing. However, the last couple weeks leading up to the wedding we had some issues. Not enough to ruin my day but it could make other people a little on edge. I had emailed our contact person to pay our final deposit and verify some details. Usually she responded within 24 hours. This time it was 3 days. I ended up calling Presidential to find out she was on vacation. It would've been nice to have known even if it was an automated response. Second, we kept asking at every meeting if there was another event in our room and it wasn't until the final meeting, days before, that we were informed that there was an event going on and we wouldn't be able to get in the room until 2pm on wedding day. I was told by our sales rep at Kohler that we could be in by 2pm. The people I sent to set up centerpieces weren't able to get into the room until 3pm. I had complete faith that a company who's job is to host events could put my vision into place in a few hours. I was more frustrated with the lack of communication since we had been asking since the very first meeting. At the reception there were a few things that irked my husband and myself. 1) We had ordered 10 kids meals and it wasn't until after all the guests had finished their meals that a mother came up and asked me about the kids meals. Turns out the kitchen didn't have an order for them. Luckily they quickly fired the few meals we needed at no charge to us. We also had decided to offer a cash liquor bar. Some how that got lost in the communication as well. It wasn't enough to ruin my evening and my fun and we weren't out any extra money for it. I was just upset with the lack of communication that seems to come back to our sales rep. The staff at Kohler is great and they do know what they're doing.

Overall, for the price and convenience of Kohler Catering is a great option if you book your reception at the Presidential Banquet Center. However, there were a few things that could have been better. Here are the Pro's and Con's: Pro's: 1. Kohler Catering owns the Presidential Banquet Center. If you have your reception there, the kitchen is on site. 2. They package all your leftovers at the end of the night for you to take home. 3. They provide all the tables, chairs, linens, utensils, and a dance floor. They also set everything (except the decorations) up for you. 4. The staff was very nice and easy to talk to. They were apologetic when things didn't go as planned. Con's: 1. They switched internet providers the day of my wedding and did not tell us. This caused their wifi to go out and we were guaranteed that we would have wifi. Our DJ was relying on using wifi to play our music and ended up having to use up his data the entire night. Also, because the wifi was out, the bartender could not accept credit/debit cards at the bar. If we had been aware of this issue before the wedding, we could have made other arrangements with our DJ. 2. They ran out of one of our side items and substituted it with something else. Some of our guests did not even get to try it. We had 12 people not show up for our wedding so we thought it was not good that they ran out with even less people than were expected. 3. We were told that if their were a lot of events booked on our day that they would allow us to set-up the room on the night before our wedding. As we got closer to the wedding, they wouldn't give us a guarantee on this. We ended up not knowing until 3 days before the wedding. This made it hard because we had to plan things last minute and we were already stressing about the wedding. 4. A few days before the wedding we were told that the color we chose for our linens was actually not included and would be an extra $200 unless we chose one of the free colors. 5. The night before our wedding we found out that our wedding coordinator (that we had been in contact with the entire planning process) does not stay for the wedding. They have a person that you have never met before help during the wedding (they are called the captain). The captain is your point of contact person if something goes wrong and I think they should have introduced us before the wedding. We ended up getting a really great captain but felt bad that she had to deal with what went wrong and she wasn't even a part of our planning process.

No words can describe how great this place is. If it wasn't for Sue are wedding would have never been. She went with us to pick out table clothes and several items. Plus did multiple walk throughs with us at our wedding venue. Food was great and Sue delivered on everything. Please do yourself a favor and have the best wedding ever and book with Sue and Kohlers they will deliver everything you would ever want. Thanks Sue we will never forget you. Aaron and Loren 2017

The food was amazing and the service was good too, however in the weeks leading up to my wedding I felt they were hard to get a hold of and unclear about what they were going to do. We were given a final price estimate a few days before our wedding, we would have liked to have had it sooner but it was fine. However, after the wedding we woke up to a bill that was almost 2000 dollars over that estimated price! They explained that our reception took longer than expected and they also added more servers at the last minute without telling us. We were originally told that servers would be sent home gradually, but they were not, and my family did most of the tearing down of the centerpieces and table clothes and such so there was really no reason for that amount of people to be there. They ended up lowering the price a little, but it was still significantly higher than originally quoted to us and caused a lot of tears and stress two days after my wedding. I wish there would have been better communication.

Kohler Catering went above and beyond our expectations!! If you are trying to decide on a caterer, pick Kohler!! Best service, best price, best food, very professional; I will absolutely be using Kohler for any future catering needs. They are amazing!!!

We used Kohler Catering for our daughter and son-in-law's indoor summer wedding and they were beyond fabulous! One tasting was all we needed to know that this company was the one we wanted to use for the wedding. We worked with Sue, booking our event two years in advance. She helped us fine tune the menu, even up to a few days before the event! The food was fantastic and the guests loved the wonderful spread that was put on by Kohler!

Kohler catering is the best caterer you could book for your wedding! Our wedding was offsite at Magnolia Estates LLC and Kohler was able to set up, deliver, and clean up. We worked with Sue and shes truly incredible. She was like a personal planner for us. She helped us pick out everything from linens to utensils. She even had people come set up the day of all of our decorations! It made it so smooth and worry free the day of. And the food was amazing! We had coastal inspired food (fish, coconut chicken, and pineapple mango glazed ham for dinner and coconut shrimp and bacon wrapped scallops for cocktail hour) and it was delicious! Many people told us it was by far the best wedding food they have ever had! The service was phenomenal and we could not have been any happier! Book them and you'll be ecstatic that you did! I recently had my wedding reception at the Presidential Banquet Center and we used Kohler Catering for the food. Yvonne was our salesperson and remained very helpful throughout the entire process. She was always available by phone and email to answer all my questions and address any concerns. We decided on a buffet dinner for our guests. The food provided was delicious and was served hot! The price per person was also very reasonable. The staff that served the food were very friendly and professional, which helped maintain an elegant atmosphere. Thank you Yvonne and all the Kohler staff for all your hard work providing us with wonderful food for our guests.

Absolutely perfect in every way! I will DEFINITELY use them again and I wholeheartedly recommend them to others. I used the Kohler Center (smaller venue next door to the Presidential Banquet Center) for my son’s Rehearsal Dinner. I had been looking at other venues, specifically restaurants, and they were close to double the cost plus they all had parking problems. At the Kohler Center, I worked with Yvonne and she was so pleasant and helpful. She offered suggestions without taking over and she had such a wonderful “flair” for decorating that made everything I did even better. The food was so delicious that many guests complimented us and we enjoyed the leftovers several days after the event. I cannot say enough about how much I appreciate Yvonne and the rest of the staff at the Kohler Center for my son’s Rehearsal Dinner being so perfect!

Kohler was the best bang for your buck around! And even though it was very decently priced, the quality of the food did not suffer because of it. Many of our guests commented that it was the best food they had ever had! And we would agree! Whether you want buffet or plated dinner, the cost per head is pretty much the same, which is awesome! And the cost of the bar per head is unbeatable!! The staff was wonderful to work with planning the wedding and made sure we had all of the details ready to go before our event. I was disappointed that the staff started cleaning up everything so early in the night. We had favors laid out at every place setting and the staff cleaned all of those up instead of giving them back to us. I didn't even get one! Also, my parents wanted to order more appetizers that night because they had run out during cocktail hour but my parents said 100 more, but they were charged and provided with 100 more of EACH that we had previously ordered ($700+ due after the wedding). That was a big lack of communication. However, Kohler was great to work with overall and provides great food and great service.

We did a slider bar and it was DELICIOUS! Great staff- they were so accomodating!

Allll of the food was delicious! We had a lot left over, so it was even better the next day :) My husband and I were able to enjoy all of the leftovers before we left for our honeymoon :)

The best food ever. I am still getting compliments of how good the food was at my wedding. No one could believe that is was hot and delicious. I loved every bite!!! I highly recommend the petit filet/chicken and mini red skin potatoes. Salad was amazing as well.

We had our reception at the Presidential Banquet Center. During the planning they were extremely helpful because they take care of set-up, clean-up and gave me a lot of ideas. Plus the prices for the food were great, and the bar prices are amazing! You will not find another deal like Kohler! The night before our wedding there was a huge storm which left the area without power. Kohler did not have power and they were working with my mom for alternatives. About an hour before our reception started they got their power back. It was a great, you would have never known anything happened! The food and service were both amazing!

Make sure you know what room you are booking before you put your deposit down. That was my only hiccup with them. The service and food were wonderful!!

Kohler was absolutely amazing at our wedding. Not only was the food outstanding, but they set up and took down everything for us. We were able to take the leftover food home the night of the wedding and all of our guests just raved about the reception. Thank you so much Kohler!

You really can not get a better price in town for the food. They will prepare just about anything you request.

I was overall very happy with my choice. The food was delicious, prices were fair, and service was great the day of the wedding. The only problem i had was the billing wasn't prompt.

The food and service was excellent. Kohler served our 250 guests in a timely manner and everyone' fod was hot and delicious!

Kohler was helpful and delicious! The only problem we had with them was at the end of the night, they didn't take all of their trash with them, leaving us to do it.

I loved the food at our wedding. We went buffet style which I was a little a leery about afraid that we would run out of food or the food would be cold. That was not the case at all. All the food tasted hot and delicious. They even gave us the leftover food. The service of the catering staff was also very professional and diligent. They picked up the plates right away which made things look much nicer. The only thing negative is that we had asked for three vegetarian meals. When those people asked about that they was told that they had no vegetarian meals available. They were able to find food on the buffet, but we just wanted everyone’s meal to fit their likes.

The food from Kohler was delicious! It was a lot of fun choosing our menu for our buffet. Our guests raved about the food and some said it was the best wedding food they ever had. The price per head was great and one of the lowest I have seen. When the evening was over they boxed up all left overs for us to take. Many thanks to Kohler for a delicious dinner!

I have had a long history with Kohlers food because my former employer used them as their exclusive caterer for 20+ years, so I already knew how good the food was when I hired them to do my daughters wedding. I called Kohlers and only gave them 3 weeks notice to come up with something great! My daughters fiancee is getting deployed to Afghanastan and his deployment got moved up, so we moved up the date! I worked with Sue and she was amazing. She came up with everything. Not to mention, I called her from my hospital room! Everything we did was by phone. Sue assured me not to worry and I didn't. On the day of the wedding, they brought all the linens and all the amazing food. Wee had fried chicken and lasagna as the main course. Everyone commented to me how great the food was. All the side dishes and veggie and fruit bowls were beautifully prepared! The people they sent to set up, stay during the day for serving and to clean up were so great! The became a part of the amazing day with us! She even helped us with cutting the cake. It was very sweet. The best part was that Kohlers also took pictures and video from the day. You can see them on their site and the Polen Farm site. I would highly recommend Kohlers to anyone! That's why I'm hiring them again to do my next event for sure! Many Blessings! To top the day off, They took pictures and video at the wedding too.

Kohler Catering was a great place for my reception! They allowed us to start setting up on Friday (since the room we had wasn't in use that day). The food was amazing and they have a huge list of choices as far as food goes. They had napkins that matched my colors perfectly and the staff was extremely nice. The room we had was a great size but it could also be opened up if you had more guests. We had about 180 guests and we had plenty of room. Overall, if I had to pick a place for the reception I would definitely choose Kohler Catering again!

Kohler was really easy to work with. Between me living in Cincinnati, my finace was living in Dayton, and my parents out of state, they were able to coordinate all our plans easily. They helped set up, clean up, even gave us the left over prime rib! The space looked beautiful and they did laid out all our decorations so no one had to be rushing around setting up flowers the day of the wedding ... which is awesome and something no one would want to do. The food was amazing and delicious. We went with their "Presidential Buffet" and everyone was so impressed by the quantity and the quality of the food. We brought in our own desserts, which they provided plates and silverware for. The alcohol and drinks were the most reasonably priced we found in the whole Dayton/Cincinnati area. They worked with the band to set them up before the reception without any problems. I was a little nervous because there was another wedding taking place next door, but everything was clearly marked so no guests were confused, we couldn't hear their music, and they had staff devoted only to my room. All in all I would recommend them to anyone who needs a big hall, does not want to be setting things up the day before or the morning of the wedding, great food/drinks, nice employees, and great price. They will take great care of you.!!

Kohler did an amazing job helping us plan and execute our wedding reception. We had a large wedding and the staff was fabulous, the prices were reasonable and the food was wonderful. All of our friends and family raved about the service and we couldn't have been happier with the results.

The food was second only to the love of the couple when guests commented on the evening: delicious salmon, chicken cordon bleu, and standing rib. You were able to accommodate the food allergies with no hassles. Truly enjoyable to work with all of your staff from placing my order to the final cleanup.

If you're having your reception in the Dayton area, use Kohler if they're not booked on your day. The staff is absolutely amazing. All of them are there to help make things easier during the planning of your reception and are there to make sure things go exactly as you hope they will the day of. We had a lot of parts to our centerpieces and they took everything we had the week before the wedding to store them. They made sure they knew what we wanted the centerpieces to look like and when my husband and I got to our reception, the room and the centerpieces looked better than I could have ever have hoped for. At the end of the night, they packed everything up for us, including the leftover food, and our families did not have to do a thing. At the end of such a long, whirl-wind day, it was so helpful to have them get everything ready for us! Everyone we worked with, before, during, and after the reception were always nice and polite and would do anything to make sure everyone was happy and having a good time. The food is wonderful and they have such a great selection. We had a buffet style dinner and were able to pick 3 main dishes out of a list of 10 or so. We then got to pick 5 side dishes, some of which could be used before the meal while our guests were waiting for us to arrive. For all of the food we got, my husband and I were shocked when we found out it would be right around $20 a head. We wanted an open bar, which only added $10 more a head and included alcohol, juice, soda, beer, and wine.With all of that food AND an open bar, $30 a head was a steal. We could not find any reception site in the area that was even close to being as reasonable in price as Kohler was. My husband and I were so happy and pleased with Kohler. Our guests had a great time, the room was beautiful, the food was great, the staff was so helpful and pleasant, and we really got our money's worth. I am so glad we decided to go with them for our reception! One of the best wedding decisions we made during our planning process! We couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate with all of our friends and family!

Without a doubt, Kohler Catering and the Presidential Banquet Center is the best in the area for personal or business events. They have beautifully catered several most important family events for us, and we have also attended business and organizational gatherings at the Presidential Banquet Center. The attention to detail, selection of gourmet foods, presentation as well as the quality of food is extremely pleasing! The staff makes the extra effort to meet our needs and their pricing is very reasonable. The location, parking and lovely facility makes for easy attendance. We have never been disappointed and look forward to planning an upcoming wedding as well as other major events in our lives. I have lived many places, planned and attended many events nationwide. Pleasing our guests is very important to us and we've always received rave reviews on quality. I highly recommend Kohler Catering and the Presidential Banquet Center for your next event.

I selected Kohlers due to the positive feedback from two family members who were formerly employed there and its reputation for GOOD food, service and price - not GREAT. I was after "relability" and didn't have the money for a true gourmet caterer and so Kohlers fit the bill. I didn't even research other vendors. To my pleasant surprise, the food was GREAT by my account and many guests, and so together with the top-notch service and price it was a GREAT value. I can't compare it to others as I didn't get comparable quotes but if you're looking for a no-fail caterer with very good food, go with Kohlers.

Kohlers Catering not only has GREAT food, but their employees are all GREAT people!!! I did'nt meet anyone there that I did not like. I personally dealt with Beth who gave me good advice on my colors and my food choices too! My colors were "Rainbow" - so I used a vast variety of colors for my tables and food dishes! Beth was a great help, and just so pleasant to work with!! the colors came out beautiful. My guest LOVED the fried chicken, the fruit and veggie tray and even the mac & cheese! its hard to go somewhere and get good mac & cheese. They were also able to work out a comfortable payment arrangement with me, which was needed in this tight economy. thanks Kohlers, you are very fortunate to have Beth Gooding working there. My experience with Kohler's Catering was amazing. The setup of my room and tables looked incredible. The staff did everything that I asked them to do and more. I was least stressed about the room because I knew that it was taken care of. The food was amazing, the best chicken, steak, and potatoes I have ever had in my life!! The bartenders were efficient and took care of everybody's needs. I am sooo happy that I went with Kohler's. The price was extremely reasonable and I was so happy with the end result I would not have changed anything about it. Kohler's is the best!!!!

The food was AWESOME! I have yet to attend a wedding where the chicken wasn't dry and mine was soooo moist! But the ham and redskin potatoes were to die for!

The food was amazing. We had a buffet and it tasted as if it was a sit-down dinner. Nothing was cold or over- or under-cooked. I wish I could have been a guest because I would have had time to eat more!!

We celebrated our daughter's and her new husband's wedding reception at The Presidential Banquet Center (Kohler's Catering) in Dayton, Ohio, on 8/20/10. Having attended Credit Union annual meetings and other functions there for years, my husband and I never thought twice about any other facility. We KNEW we would not be disappointed~~~and we WEREN'T! The food was wonderful, perfectly cooked and delicious and we are still getting compliments about the variety and quantity. We felt the price was very reasonable. The bartenders worked extra hard to please, the room was set up beautifully and the huge chandeliers, candlelight and ornate draperies added to the splendor of the occasion. Our dealings with Sue Delaney, the manager, were always stress-free, as she listened and answered all our myriad questions. Anything we wanted, she did, and did quickly, reporting back to us as soon as possible. The staff worked efficiently to set up the venue, changing anything we wanted to our specifications. My husband and I would never for a minute hesitate to recommend Kohler Catering's The Presidential Banquet Center for ANY event---but for an outstanding and gorgeous wedding reception, our opinion is that you just can't do better.

We used Kohler for our wedding reception of 170 guests. We had at least two planning meetings to set up our menu and overall plan and our coordinator was very comprehensive and detailed. They had four total wedding receptions at their venue that night and I wouldn't have known it unless someone had told me. The setup was great, the staff was very efficient, the space was excellent and the overall experience worked out fabulously for us. I highly recommend the Presidential to anyone needing a well-done reception area.

Kohler Catering was wonderful to work with. They are so organized that it made it so easy to make decisions. Anytime I had questions, they were always there to answer them and the food was so wonderful. I'm so happy with my choice and would definitely go with them again for an event.

We have never heard so many compliments in our lives! The food is absolutely amazing. It's moist, yummy, and you get to decide what food you want. The day of your wedding, you will be stress free because they set everything up for you and make the environment absolutely beautiful. The service is awesome! This is definately catering company you shouldn't pass up.
