I am not one for pictures but the team made it feel absolutely natural to take pictures as our engagement pictures were absolutely stunning. The day of the wedding was hectic for my wife and I but having the Kokoro team on our side made things so much smoother. They were there for all of the perfect moments and were easy to work with when things did not fall perfectly on schedule. They captured the first looks, the ceremony, the laughs and are a very fun group to be around. We got married at the Villa Parker, and it was clear that the group knew the space and had studied everything about the venue to get the best pictures possible. Family portraits after the ceremony were quick, well done and managed. As golden hour was happening, they were quick to respond to make sure the best pictures were taken. As the groom, some photographers solely focus on the bride which is fine because it is her day, but I truly appreciated how much time they took with the grooms side as well. From the beginning of engagement to the final moments of the reception, they were there for all the best moments. I highly recommend you bring Kokoro to your wedding experience. They are easy to work with, it was easy to set up a payment plan, they are so friendly and fun to work with. We couldn't have asked for a better photography team they are the absolute best.

They are so great at making everyone relaxed for all the scripted, awkward, stare at your partner's eyes and kissy-face pictures. Their joking, but serious when need to be, personalities rub off during the engagement and wedding pictures that it is just fun. The pictures they took before, during and after our wedding ceremony and reception make our wedding look like all those seen in a wedding magazine. I don't know how they find the glimmers of light, great scenery from a bush or patch of grass, but they did. I couldn't have been more pleased with how the photos turned out. I just wanted to show everyone I could. Since there are two of them, you get thousands of pictures from different angles. They are everywhere, but never in anyone's way while taking the pictures. I would choose them again in a heartbeat.

Their sweet, funny, laid back style went a long way to make me feel less awkward during the shoots. they were EVERYWHERE, but somehow managed to not make it feel like they were in your face or in your way at all. We got the digital photos back very quickly both times, and we always felt comfortable with them.
We did miss a few must-have family shots, but this is definitley more our fault than Kokoro's, so a word to the wise, make sure you do sit down and make that list, I thought we would remember the day of but now I'm sad I didn't. (for example, a photo and me and my husband with each of our immediate families only, we have the extended families, but not immediate.)

On our wedding day, Amanda ended up being instrumental in getting the men ready, helping attach boutonnieres and get pocket squares folded while still taking at least a hundred photos of that hour. During the ceremony they were unobtrusive, yet got hundreds of gorgeous photos of everyone. We really appreciate the pictures of the little details: our rings placed on a rubber ducky, the menus and favors, little toy animals still hidden amongst the plants. All in all, we cannot recommend Kokoro Photography highly enough!!
