Joy did a fantastic job for us! Leading up to the ceremony, I was anxious and nervous, Joy stepped back and adapted to my running around and I know she got some great photos to me...
morialize our day. We wanted to spend time with our guests during cocktail hour and not spend the entire time doing photos, Joy was extremely respectful of this and spent time with us getting some great photos together while being respectful of our time. Then the reception... it's a bit of a blur, but every time I saw something going on, Joy was out of the corner of my eye capturing the entire evening. Part way through our celebration, we had some group photo requests and Joy was extremely adaptable and worked with us to do what we wanted.
One of the things I most appreciated about the experience is that Joy was completely patient with guests who wanted to get the same shot she was after; she'd let folks take their cell phone pictures although I know it disrupted her work, that may not seem like much, but it really meant a lot!

e we saw each other before the wedding. We were both nervous about it at first, but Joy took SO many pictures and we wouldnt have changed it for the world. The only thing I would be able to complain about (and not really) would be waiting to see the pictures but she edits every one,and I would rather have perfect pictures than not be patient. Joy stayed with us all night.. she got there while we were getting ready at 1:30 and left at 10:30 when things were slowing down. She does not charge by the hour and will take as many pictures as she can!

I am sure will look amazing. Joy was all throughout the venue and crowd taking very artistic and formal shots. She was very efficient with her time. We only had 45 minutes between the ceremony and the entrance to the reception and she was able to get all family and extended family photos done, bridal party photos and many many candid photos of my husband and I. She had scouted some cool areas outside Downtown Columbus and there were a few budding trees that were beautiful that she found just around the corner. We can't wait to see the pictures!
