Kona Wedding Officiant

he process was a breeze. We signed up on her website, chose a location (she gave us some great suggestions based on our descriptions on what we were looking for) and signed the contract.  She included some great information such as the different licensing agents, places for hair and makeup and recommended restaurants in the area. All super organized and easy to follow.  We were given options to what to include in our ceremony as well as adding a few personal words as well. Deanna listened to our wishes and the ceremony ended up very personal and beautiful.  When the big day arrived we met up with Deanna at a set time and place. She was already there when we showed up. We were a little late and texted with her. She always responded so quickly, via either email or text. She made our wedding ceremony beyond perfect! From the small details, to the eloquent delivery of our ceremony and the heartfelt well wishes at the end. She felt like a friend and we had only known her for less than an hour!  We would recommend Kona Wedding Officiant and Deanna in a heartbeat! You will have a perfect day!

easy, stress free, and beautiful!

r our black sand beach wedding, and we simply couldn't be happier with our choice. Deanna's thoughtful consideration and meticulous attention to detail truly set her apart. ntal, with the most beautiful and thoughtful poem Kahu Tom wrote based on our story. Sometimes, when you have an officiant you don't know well perform a service, it can feel impersonal. This was the opposite. Kahu Tom took time to genuinely get to know us and what we wanted from a ceremony, and get to know our story. The ceremony ended up being one of the most meaningful and memorable parts of our entire weekend! Many of our guests came up afterward and commented on what an amazing officiant Kahu Tom was, and we couldn't agree more. If you hire Kahu Tom as your officiant, I guarantee you will be happy with his services!

the entire process flow seamlessly. We didn’t have to worry about a single thing. Kahu Tom made our wedding day incredibly special and you could tell he genuinely cared and was honored to be a part of our day! Our photographer spent over a hour with us after the ceremony and the photos turned out amazing! We are beyond happy!

anna made the process so easy even with our limited time to plan. Communication was quick and easy. She customized our ceremony and included some Hawaiian elements that really made it special. Our photographer was great and really captured the magic of the day. Whether you are planning a quick elopement for just two or a small ceremony with close family and friends, definitely give Deanna and her team a call! They will create a beautiful experience that you will cherish always.

hannon Herbert for making our photo shoot so much fun. Our pictures turned out beautiful. Very special shout out to Kahu Tom for taking the time to learn our story and writing the most beautiful Mo'olelo Aloha for us. We will treasure this forever. He was so generous sharing his beautiful home and memories with us. We highly recommend Kona Wedding Officiant and are looking forward to having them arrange our 10 year wedding anniversary renewal ceremony. Mahalo :)

and knowledgeable communication that Deanna provided us. From the initial email to helping us obtain our license, to meeting us on time on Alii, to executing a beautiful, yet low key ceremony, our experience was a 10/10. Google Ads Do Work :)

to be easy and not be a lot of work. I wanted things to happen organically with no stress for myself or my Husband. Much to my surprise Deanna did more than I could have imagined. I picked what I wanted as to the traditional Hawaiian wedding and she made it happen. I really did not have to do anything. I spend time on the beach until my wedding and I could not be happier! I would do it all over again! But - I have to tell you, Deanna herself brought so much Aloha spirit to my wedding that it brought tears to my eyes...and I am not one to cry. Watching her prepare for our wedding by appreciating the ocean, carefully blessing the rings, the eye to eye contact and the beauty of her ceremony was beyond expectations. We were truly blessed to find Kona Wedding Officiants. Mahalo Deanna. If you want a beautiful ceremony in Hawaii with no stress...this is your place. You will not be disappointed.

For our wedding our officiant was Margarita and Terra was the photographer. They were both wonderful and listened to all of our needs and request. ything you can think of! There were no issues with times, travel, or schedule. Everything went exactly as planned. Deanna was wonderful and made our day so special. As corny as it may sound, it really did feel like we were the only people on the beach that day. It felt intimate and grand at the same time. Our photographer was also awesome, she had great ideas for photos and went along with all our crazy requests! And of course, it's Hawaii, and it's beautiful. 100 percent positive experience!

recommend using her for your wedding ceremony. From the time we booked the wedding date more than a year ago to the actual wedding day, Deanna quickly and efficiently responded to all of our communications and all of her instructions were clear and concise. Deanna is exactly everything that we were looking for in a wedding officiant. My husband and I eloped because we wanted a private and intimate ceremony and that is exactly what Deanna provided. She was eloquent and somehow instinctively delivered the perfect harmonization of a Christian ceremony and a spiritual ceremony all in one. Her energy was otherworldly and her pace and tonality throughout the ceremony were both calming and grounding. She truly embodies the god essence and made our wedding ceremony everything that we could ever wish our wedding to be. We truly feel blessed and are deeply and eternally grateful to Deanna for making our wedding day so memorable and meaningful.

e details and made it so easy- we just had to show up. The experience was wonderful. Thank you so much, it was an even better experience than we were hoping to have.

to our “big day”. We appreciate that she took the time to answer all our questions (which were many) and provided great advice on planning the perfect ceremony. At the ceremony, Deanna was thoughtful, patient, intentional, and very kind. We could not be happier with our wedding experience. Deanna’s team were sweet and very talented. Aubrey did an amazing job capturing the beautiful moments and we adore her photos. Dennis was fantastic as well, played ukulele and sang beautifully. He made our first dance so special to us. 100% recommend Kona Wedding Officiant for anyone’s wedding in Hawaii. We are so grateful to Deanna and her team for making our day so special for us. Thank you!

hotographer who was absolutely amazing. The florist she uses was great too. Thank you so much!!!

nied us. It was affordable and I loved that it made our special day so simple.

lp with anything I needed. We chose the Ohana Ukulele Package and were very happy with everything! This package was perfect for the small family wedding that we had dreamed of and the best part was how little I had to worry about! I was actually completely stress free on my wedding day, which for me was my main goal. Everything was coordinated perfectly making it easy to just enjoy every moment of our big day. Not to mention that it was picture perfect. We had our ceremony on Old Kona Airport beach at 9am, we loved how few people there were on the beach and how private it was. We even had our small dog, Milo, as our ring bearer. We decided to have 3 bridesmaids and 3 groomsmen, which was easy to go onto the website and add 3 extra bouquets and 3 extra boutonniere to our package. Everything was so organized and easy to do, it couldn’t have been more perfect! I can’t tell you how much I recommend having your wedding with Kona Wedding Officiant, I truly feel that we were able to enjoy our wedding day much more because of how stress free and organized everything was. It was absolutely perfect and everything we dreamed of.

and our family in making decisions about the location and how to make our ceremony special. It was important to us to include our immediate family and to follow Hawaiian traditions. It all came together so well. Brittany, our photographer, was fantastic - always around to catch those candid moments as well as posed photos. Deanna is very professional, but so caring. If you want to do it right, contact her.

our wedding license to selecting the best beach location! Totally stress free and beautiful experience.

photos, the experience was so kind, attentive and filled with Aloha. We had the full-on ceremony with the lei's, conch blowing, song, ring blessing, sand....it was magical! And Brittany, the photographer was outstanding. She made us feel so comfortable and the photos are great! Thank you Deanna for being you and surrounding us with love.

as the top result with awesome reviews, and I can confirm that these reviews are 100% accurate. Deanna was very responsive through the process and gave us a lot of help throughout the wedding license process, which helped reduce any pre-wedding stress we had. Deanna was so genuine throughout the wedding ceremony and honestly gave us a ceremony we will remember forever. She also set up photography and flowers for us in advance, and helped with a videographer extremely last minute when we had a change of plans. I would recommend Kona Wedding Officiant a million times over for your perfect Hawaiian wedding!!

. Best day ever! ❤️

hout the entire process as we communicated back and forth online on what our needs and wants were. Deanna provided many different options and her website was easy to navigate. We decided on a sunset ceremony and Deanna recommended gorgeous Kukio Beach in North Kona. Even though it’s a public beach (all beaches are in the Big Island), it felt secluded with minimal foot traffic, and it felt perfect for what we were envisioning. The ceremony, including before and after pics, took two hours. The weather was great and Deanna and her photographer were a pleasure to work with. It felt personal and the Hawaiian touches she incorporated (blessing in native Hawaiian, blowing of the conch, blessing of the sand and water) were special and lovely. Getting married is stressful under the best of circumstances, but Deanna makes it easy, straightforward, and about as stress free as possible. We definitely recommend her!

so many huge, impersonal weddings, where everything is high stress, crazy expensive and the bride and groom don't get to be present in the most important day of their lives. We're still glowing (5 months later!) from our private, peaceful and meaningful ceremony. Deanna's attention to detail and professionalism along with her complete calm really made it easy for us to be in the moment. She managed every single detail of everything we could have wanted. Both of us are so happy with our choice to get married in small wedding, early in the morning, next to the gorgeous ocean. We're telling everyone we know to do it and happier every day that we did it this way. From our hike down to the beach, to the mist off the ocean, the ring of flower petals mixed in among the volcanic rock, to our succinct ceremony- it was everything we wanted. Running away to get married took away all the stress of the day and let us focus on what was important to us-- Each Other! Deanna made our day so special and her recommended photographer and photog in training had such good spirits and good vibes and made us really comfortable and it's great to have such lovely pictures to help us remember the day too. We honestly couldn't be happier. We looked at a lot of officiants and read tons of reviews and were very happy we chose Deanna. She was incredibly responsive, tireless and patient in making sure we were completely satisfied with the RIGHT location (but seriously, is there a wrong place to get married in Hawaii?), the perfect words (and many drafts and changes from us), the best place for the weather, and a million other details.
