Hands down the BEST GOWNS & BEST SERVICE in all of Michigan! If you are a bride looking for a gown with a "wow-factor" or looking for the extra sparkle, look no further the Konja's...
! Very professional, does not rush you and does not make you feel pressured to buy like a majority of other bridal stores. Also, the alterations team skills are UNMATCHED & very reasonably priced!
Before going to Konja's, wedding dress shopping was becoming frustrating and I started to believe I would not find my dress. I've worn many formal gowns for various galas and have attended/stood up in more wedding's than Katherine Heigl in 27 dress so finding a wedding dress that (1) wasn't like a formal gown I had previous worn, (2) was unique and not like a wedding dress I had seen other wear previously, (3) reflected my personality, and (4) had enough sparkle became increasing difficult. I went to 3 other very well-known bridal stores in the Metro Detroit Area as well as 3 bridal stores in the New York City Area and none of these stores compared in both dress selection and service to Konja's.
I went to five or six different salons for bridesmaid dresses and we knew we had to go back and purchase the dresses from them. They, by far, had the most reasonable prices and the...
girls that worked there were so helpful. We tried on so many dresses and they were patient and helpful throughout the whole process. My bridesmaids had no problems with ordering and alterations. Even with one of my bridesmaids living in Florida, everything went smoothly. The dresses fit perfectly and my bridesmaids loved them! They had a huge selection of designers, styles, and prices; you’ll surely find something beautiful! I am so happy I went with Konja’s bridal for my bridesmaid dresses and would recommend them to everyone!
I got my bridesmaids dresses here and had a wonderful experience. They made everything so easy especially with having a few bridesmaids who lived out of town. The staff was very pl...
easant and accommodating. I would recommend Konja's if you're looking for beautiful and affordable bridesmaid dresses!
Despite the shop being dirty...they do NOT seem to have a grasp on customer service. I had made an appointment a week prior for me and my bridesmaid to try on bridesmaid dresses. E...
verything was fine until we got there. First, they seemed shocked and in disbelief when I told them I wanted to look at dresses under $200 if possible because I didn’t want my girls spending a ton of money on a dress they would wear once. They snobbed their nose to me and said, “we really don’t have dresses in that price range so you’ll have to try somewhere else.” They attitude was unreal but I insisted on staying and just having a peak because we had already set aside this time to look. When my bridesmaid was trying on dresses no one was helping her in the dressing room. She even had to walk all the way out in the store unzipped and all of her back completely open just so I could help her (and there was another bride’s dad in the store)! When she was showing off the dresses to me, the two ladies who worked there were staring at my bridesmaid, arms crossed, rolling their eyes, and looking her up and down…clearly talking about us! The level of disrespect they showed makes me surprised how they stay in business. We found the bridesmaid dresses that we wanted but ended up googling the same style and found it at another shop for $40 cheaper. Don’t waste your time or your money here.
LOVED LOVED LOVED my dress. Got compliments all night and the whole week after!! Staff are super friendly and have the best selection. Love this place!
Although none of my bridesmaids ended up buying a dress from Konja's, this was the most helpful salon that we visited. I stopped in a few times with several different bridesmaids a...
nd often didn't have and appointment. They were always very accommodating and had a large selection.
I would not recommend this shop to anyone!!! It's dirty, unorganized and it even has a musty smell to it. The alterations for all the bridemaids dresses were awful...everyone of th...
e dresses was too long and the bust are was uncomfortable and looked like we stuffed ourselves. The hem is my dress was not finished correctly and it started fraying and falling out as soon as i put it on. By the time the ceremony was done it needed to be safety pinned around the whole bottom of the dress. I was the matron of honor and my dress looked like something I got at the salvation army and to top it off Konjas Bridal took absolutely no responsibility for it saying it could have been a manufacturing defect when clearly they don't know how to sew a hem on this particular material. They have zero customer service skills in making sure the customer is happy. I even brought my dress in the back door because I didnt want to make any brides nervous when seeing the condition of my dress. Go to a more reputable bridal shop. If you want everything to be perfect for your wedding day,
DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!
I have had 3 dresses from Konja's for wedding's that I have been in. All have had horrid alterations. The most recent alterations were awful. None of the boning in the dresses were...
adjusted in any of the bridesmaids dresses to fit our bodies- so the curve where the bust was in the dress did not line up with our actual busts. Also when I put the dress on for my brother's wedding I noticed a huge hole in the front of the dress (see uploaded pictures for details). This went unnoticed at the store because of the pleating in the dress which had a flowy shirt. Konja's is not taking any responsibility. I do take fault in that I should have inspected the entirety of the dress before i left the store with it. However, I feel at a "reputable" bridal store once should not have to inspect every single inch of the dress.
I also have been in Konja's multiple times due to being a bridesmaids. The staff are rude and unpleasant. Every experience and interaction I have had there has been awful. I have given them chance after chance to prove they weren't as bad as my last experience and they have failed on all levels.
I will never again go back and I recommend you do not as well.
Both my bridal dress and the girls’ bridesmaids’ dresses were from Konja’s. If you select a dress and all your bridesmaids buy from Konja’s the alterations are included. My girls...
were very happy about this. The biggest plus I found with Konja’s (other than the stellar customer service and knowledge) was they held my dress until the day before the wedding and had it steamed and pressed the day before.
I brought two of my bridesmaids here after we searched ALL of the metro Detroit area for a dress we liked, and I am so glad we came here. We should have just came here first becau...
se they had every single dress that I we saw between 10 other stores put together. They had great service, great selection, and great prices. This is a must go to for bridesmaids!
I ordered my bridesmaid dresses from this bridal salon because they offered a discount with multiple dresses ordered and free alterations. Well it wasn't worth it, I had one brides...
maid out of state which they assured me would be easy and no problem and then they gave her nothing but issues, they refused to order a larger size for my cousin who was having heart surgery and knew she wouldn't be able to work out like she had been, and to top it off I had to call them to find out my dresses where in!!
I got my bridal gown through Konja's Bridal and was happy with my overall experience. It did take awhile for my dress to initially come in, so make sure you give yourself plenty of...
time. They were very professional, however, and worked with me to find the perfect dress. My alterations looked great as well.
after going to another shop where the people working didn't want to help and wouldn't let me try on dresses because they said I shouldn't bother because they won't look good becaus...
e I am "too big" (who does that?!!?) I went here and they were FANTASTIC! So nice and completely dedicated to making sure my dress was perfect!
We were able to get the wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses from Konja's. They were very nice and helpful. It is a personal experience. You aren't standing with many brides and...
bridesmaids. They schedule so you have your own time, which is so nice. I was very happy with Konja's.
I needed to order a bridesmaid's dress for an out of town wedding that I was in. I called around to a few different places and Konjas had one of the lowest prices for the dress. ...
Plus they included alterations which was the selling point for me.
I arrived early to my appointment and they saw me right away (rather than having to wait). The girls were very friendly and helpful.
I ordered the dress, it came in about a month earlier than I was told, and it was correct. I just needed minor alterations (which were included), and they had them finished in 2 weeks.
Very satisfied with the experience and would recommend them!
Konja's is the only bridal salon I would shop at. I had a great experience with them as a bridesmaid in the past, and ended up ordering my dress through them. Even though my partic...
ular style wasn't one they had in stock, they were able to order it custom. Fae, the owner/seamstress, is a magician and I couldn't imagine working with anyone better. Huge selection of bridesmaids dresses too!
This was a great experience to purchase my wedding dress. Everyone there was very helpful. A little awkward in the beginning, you have to pull your own choices off of the rack. But...
I found my perfect dress! There were dresses that could be ordered or you could purchase the dress off of the rack, which is what I did. I received a great price. I had 3 fittings, all worked out very well, no issues.
I REALLY dislike this store. I disliked it from the get go and it got worse as time went on. We chose them because their prices were good and included alterations. Their custome...
r service is TERRIBLE and gets worse after you buy your dresses. To be fair we only bought two dresses from them so we weren’t big spenders but we were customers never-the-less and expected to be treated well. First off, this store is ALWAYS closed. Seriously – EVERY HOLIDAY. The week between Christmas and New Years. MLK Day. And their hours are terrible if you work 9-5. It just seemed like I could never get in there. Whenever I asked a question I felt that I was a terrible inconvenience. And then we went to pick the dresses up after the alterations were done. The one dress was very wrinkly and it was terrible that I asked for it to be steamed. And the other dress had a crooked hem. And the hem was still dragging on the floor. My bridesmaid was going to let it go just so that she wouldn't have to go to the store ever again. I asked them to fix it and I went to pick it up for her. I would not recommend them unless you’re willing to put up with terrible customer service in exchange for inexpensive prices. Just give yourself extra time for corrections to your alterations.
They were friendly and helpful. I knew exactly what dress I wanted so I was easy to work with.;They didn't like me coming in early for my appt. until they saw that I already kne...
