alized I was over my head! With a full-time job and a part-time job on the side, even though I'm pretty organized and on top of things, I have my plate full. Hiring her was a life-saver! We clicked right away - she's very professional, nice, and had a sense of my vision for our wedding right away. She is very experienced and excellent at coordinating with my vendors and keeping everything straight. She helped with many details leading up to the wedding and on the wedding day. The weather forecast predicted rain for the week leading up to our outdoor wedding. She kept me informed, helped to calm me down and get me from getting too worked up about it, and ultimately, I felt confident that regardless of the weather, the wedding would be smooth. And it was! :) On the day of, there were a couple of issues with my florist (and maybe other issues I'm unaware of), but she completely insulated us from the issues and made sure it was taken care of. I didn't find out until after the wedding that anything had happened! This is exactly what the Day of Coordinator helps with. On your special day, you don't need to be stressing about the details and last-minute coordination. She's responsive, personable, and easy to work with. We really appreciate her help. Definitely hire a day of coordinator if your budget allows (and maybe consider moving things around to make it work if it doesn't!). It definitely helps to have a point person.
