Kortni made our surprise proposal day exponentially better. We communicated for several months leading up to the proposal and Kortni was super responsive. She even helped me form a plan B in case of emergency. During the shoot, she was a pro at acting unsuspecting before the proposal happened. Afterwards, she gave directions for us (not photogenic) to pose and be ourselves. It felt super natural and fun. Our pictures turned out amazing, I think we look at them everyday. I would absolutely work with Kortni again and recommend her to everyone I know.

Kortni was the most incredible wedding photographer anyone could ever want. If you're even considering having her shoot your wedding DO IT!!!!! She captures the most magical and perfect photos (even for a couple that absolutely hates having their photo taken)! She is so friendly and calming, there will be no stress when she is shooting your day but she will still capture every important moment. Every time something was happening we would turn around and she was there capturing it. She gives you sneak peaks almost immediately and the photos are absolute perfection. Kortni recently did our engagement pictures and is scheduled to do our wedding photos next September. My fiancé and I were both nervous because neither of us feel we are the most photogenic people. My husband and I stumbled upon Kortni’s page while we were contemplating having a big wedding or just running away to the mountains and eloping. We immediately fell in love with her unique style of work and decided let’s head to the mountains. She answered in a timely and professional manner, and took away all of our fears about eloping. She helped guide us through the planning process, gave us all the scoop on the best places to elope, and even lent us her husband, Mike, for the day to officiate the wedding. Making the decision to have 2 strangers be the only two people at your wedding can be nerve racking, but the day of the elopement, Kortni made it feel like we had known her for a lifetime. She made the day about just the two us, made us feel so comfortable, and even scaled some waterfalls and cliffs to capture some of our favorite shots! My husband and I were absolutely blown away by her photos! We would pick Kortni a million times over and don’t have a single regret about our elopement day. Kortni is the best of the best and we couldn’t be more grateful that we chose her!

A friend took photos of our wedding as a wedding present, but we only got a couple "sneak peak" photos and none of my husband and I. We were heartbroken! On our first year anniversary we got back in our wedding clothes & Kortni got some amazing photos of us! My husband & I are a bit awkward in front of the camera, but you would never know from the pictures! Kortni made us feel so much more relaxed, and we had a really enjoyable time. She even got us sneak peaks by the next morning & the rest of the pictures soon afterwards! We were so thankful for the amazing opportunity work with Kortni & to make some really beautiful memories!

My husband and I wanted a very small wedding. When we talked about the things that were truly important , the photographs were the one thing we wanted done right. We literally stalked Kortni’s page along with another to determine the style that felt like us. The photo that made our decision was on with a couple in the woods with a orange fog bomb. It was amazing! Upon starting our work with Kortni she was organized, professional and caring all in the same breathe. Kortni has been so incredible to work with! I was following her for awhile on Instagram so when I got engaged I knew I wanted her to shoot our engagement and wedding photos! Her style is so unique and beautiful! Once I reached out to her I loved how she asked questions about myself and my fiancé to get to know us. You can tell Kortni truly cares about all her couples! We get married in October so have only gotten engagement photos but we were absolutely blown away by them! My fiancé and I were so nervous about getting our photos taken and being super awkward but Kortni made us feel so comfortable and coached us through all the poses. Kortni is an incredible photographer and artist. We were so lucky to find her to be part of our wedding day. She really made us feel comfortable through out the day and was accommodating to our requests for shots at various favorite locations. Kortni's photographs are spectacular and artistic. It was an absolute privilege to get to work with Kortni for our elopement!! This will be a long review because we LOVED our experience with Kortni, but the short version is: hire her!! Not only is Kortni an incredible photographer but also a kind, calm, wonderful person to be around. She is so flexible, adventurous, and brings the perfect calm, kind energy to what can be a hectic day. She is truly an expert at her craft and I cried SO much when we saw our photos for the first time. The photos Kortni captured were beautiful, authentic, entirely natural, and somehow truly captured our love and that magical moment in time. She is an expert at calm, specific direction and knows exactly what to say to guide us in the moment—she made me want to hire her for photo shoots whenever humanly possible because it was just so much FUN! We didn’t know what to expect, never having had a photographer around us before, but Kortni exceeded our hopes for what it could be like by a million miles! We are kind of camera-shy people, but with Kortni it was insanely easy, comfortable, and resulted in a STUNNING end product. I can be pretty picky, coming from a fine art background myself, and was honestly blown away by the photos she took. I was so worried about getting good photos when looking for a photographer and I imagine many brides feel the same. Thankfully, if you’re reading this review, you’ve found Kortni. And that means you don’t have to worry any more—just book her 😊. Now into some more specific-to-us detail, we were one of the COVID couples who had to make the tough choice to postpone our wedding due to the pandemic, but Kortni was incredible throughout the whole process. We actually live in Montana currently, but our original wedding was planned to be in the Lake George area. When we decided to postpone the wedding and elope in Montana in the meantime, we were shocked when Kortni offered to travel out to Montana to photograph our elopement instead! She and her equally awesome husband, Mike, made the long drive out. We invited them to stay at an Airbnb near Glacier National Park with us and they’re awesome houseguests to top it all off! If only we lived closer to the Adirondack region we’d totally be real-life friends with these lovely people. They were SO patient with us and willing to be unbelievably flexible as we went back and forth about whether to have the elopement in the Tetons or Glacier, all while they were driving across the country toward us!! We ultimately settled on Glacier and it was a truly magical evening. Everyone we show the photos to literally gasps a little at how beautiful they are! We honestly can’t believe we got so lucky—thank you SO MUCH Kortni!!! We are beyond excited to see her again and have her photograph our full-on wedding (the one we postponed due to COVID) this weekend!! It’s a tremendous relief to know that despite the inevitable stress that goes along with a larger event Kortni is one part we absolutely don’t have to worry about. Her calm, confident, kind presence will be a blessing in the midst of a hectic day. As I’m sure you’ve seen as you’re looking through her work, Kortni is truly an artist. I tell everyone I know that hiring her was the best decision I made about the wedding by far (second only to deciding to marry my now-husband, of course 😉). So, help your future self out—check this off your giant to-do list. Kortni’s it, she’s the real deal, and will be the best decision you make for your wedding too.

My husband and I were lucky enough to have Kortni document our wedding celebration (with an amazing second shooter as well). Kortni is an absolute dream to work with. Prior to us hiring her, I had seriously stalked her page for a long time LOL. Being a creative myself, I was looking for someone that had a unique aesthetic and paid as much attention to detail as I did. That being said, her editing style honestly blew me away. I can recognize her pictures amongst a sea of hundreds (and I follow a LOT of photographers) - hers ALWAYS stand out. Not to mention, her keen eye for framing and simply capturing the emotions amongst her subjects is something I fell in love with. This is a skill not all photographers have - she is the complete package. Needless to say, I was actually jumping for joy when we reached out to her and she was available for our date. Come wedding day, she was a complete angel. Soft spoken, but assertive in what she knew would give us the best possible pictures. She also somehow managed to snap her images without being boastful about her presence. From experience, some photographers are very "up front" and in the couples faces, especially during the ceremony. Kortni however, was able to capture intimate moments with us hardly knowing she was there. She was like a ninja in disguise! As a bride and groom who obviously are experiencing a day of overwhelming emotions, this was an added bonus that we didn't know we needed. Having her behind the scenes rather than "in our face" (for lack of a better term) made the experience extremely peaceful. We felt like we could enjoy ourselves and digest the day as it was happening, rather than be bossed around, just to get the shots we wanted. She was able to capture every necessary shot, but also candids that were extremely meaningful and personal to us and our personalities. She was kind and easy to work with, especially amongst our crazy families and the occasional outbursts of emotions. Our friends and families are absolutely blown away by her images already, and we only have the sneak peaks! They have never seen edits like hers, and can not say enough about how amazingly beautiful all of the images are so far. If you are questioning hiring Kortni, STOP thinking and do it NOW!!! She is well worth the money - heck I would have paid double! We can not express enough how appreciative we are to have had her at our wedding, capturing the best day of our lives.

Booking Kortni for our Adirondack elopement was the best decision we could have made. She was everything we hoped for and more! We are usually awkward in photos and she made our photo shoot so fun and effortless. We genuinly had such a fun time. We got our sneak peek photos back quickly and they were amazing. When we got our full album back I was blown away. I expected to get a decent amount of photos that were amazing, but they were all amazing! I could pick any picture out of our album and it would be worthy of being framed. The photos also capture our true selves and don't look posed which is exactly what we wanted. We are SO happy with our decision to have Kortni as our photographer. She is extremely talented and I would recommend her to anyone I know. As a bonus she is up for any adventurous ideas! When I suggested getting in a canoe she was all for it.

Wow we are completely blown away by our wedding photos by Kortni!! We knew she was amazing after much research and our engagement photos, but our wedding photos are even better than we could have imagined! In the days leading up to the shoot, she sent us very helpful resources like what to expect and tips about what to wear. She was so flexible about location, and capturing any pose ideas we had. My husband and I can't say enough great things about working with Kortni! From the beginning she was so sweet and always got back to us quickly. When the whole Covid thing hit the fan she was so accommodating and really went above and beyond to work with us as everything ended up changing. I cannot recommend Kortni enough for her amazing work! Kortni shot my fiancé and I’s recent elopement in the Adirondacks and we are SO happy with the way our photos turned out. When Covid affect our original wedding plans I knew the one vendor I wanted to hold on to was Kortni and was so glad we did. From the beginning Kortni was super helpful and responsive. We received a sneak peak the evening of our wedding which was so, so great. Oh my goodness- I cannot say enough wonderful things about Kortni!! I fell in love with her and her work when she photographed my best friends wedding. Kortni and Mikey are good friends of ours. She reached out to us last summer to take a short video of my fiancé and I (at the time). She told us she was just trying it out and testing the waters. When she finished and we got it back, we loved it! Kortni did an awesome job! We just got our engagement photos from our shoot in Lake George at the end of September. We had such a fun time doing the shoot! Kortni made us feel so comfortable and even took our requests for specific shots. She had so many great ideas and really captured the pictures we were hoping for. I am OBSESSED with the way Kortni captured our wedding day. Compared to other photographers she has such a unique style and obvious talent. Every photo looks like it is pulled straight from a high-fashion magazine. She took the magical chaos of our wedding day and distilled it down into photos that are full of the love and joy we felt that day! She has an impeccable eye for framing and composition. We went for an adventure shoot with Kortni in the Adirondacks and let me tell you, she is amazing. Not only were the photos beautiful, we had the best time being with Kortni. Kortni is an amazing photographer! We first met her when we we had just gotten engaged and met up for a fun creative shoot. After the shoot, it was clear to my fiance and I that we needed to have her shoot our wedding! It was the first decision we made for our wedding and one of the easiest. Not only is her style amazing, but she is quick and efficient. My fiance and I kept talking about how we felt like we weren't even doing anything for the posed shots, and were just being ourselves, and she comes out with these amazing photos that we were honestly shocked by how much we loved them. My family members and friends at the wedding were so impressed with how quickly/efficiently she moved through the family and wedding party shots. Plus she just has an eye for what will look good and it's so easy to work with her. We can't recommend her enough!

Kortni is absolutely amazing!! I couldn't have asked for a more talented photographer to capture our wedding day! From our engagement shoot to our wedding day, she made Kristopher and I feel extremely comfortable and natural. It helps that Kortni is an absolute sweetheart as well! We didn't feel rushed to take certain photos or like we needed to be in an exact pose at a specific time. She went with the flow and worked great with the videographers we hired. We are always so impressed with Kortni! She took our engagement photos and, after that experience, we were fully confident in her ability to capture our entire wedding day – and she did so beautifully! Kortni is always a pleasure to work with as she is so friendly, personal, and quality… She came to our rehearsal to scope out the ceremony set-up so that she would know exactly where she needed to be on the day of the wedding. She offered to take our engagement pictures in Vero Beach, FL and planned such a fun shoot with ice cream and everything...my fiance and I had such a good time with Kortni and will be having her take our wedding photos, too! I loved how creative, personal, relaxed, and quick it was to work with Kortni - she sent us about 25 sneak-peek photos the night of the shoot and had them all ready and beautifully edited in under two weeks! We received our elopement photos from Kortni the other day and would just like to say they are AMAZING! Way above and beyond our expectations. Kortni is such a breeze to work with, she is creative, talented and so much fun. We wanted photos that didn't look super cheesy and posed and we definitely got them, they were exactly what we wanted and she even made our ideas work as well. First and foremost, Kortni is an unbelievably talented photographer. Her work speaks for itself, which is why we contacted her in the first place. She captures people and settings so naturally, and her distinctive style melds modern and classic just perfectly. But when we met her and got to know her over a cup of coffee, we couldn’t book her for our wedding fast enough. My fiance and I had Kortni meet us at what will be our wedding venue next year to do an engagement shoot. Kortni is awesome! She is quick to respond to questions and concerns via email. She is very efficient, great time utilizing the short time we had to take engagement pictures. She made my fiancé and I feel comfortable in front of the camera, which great since neither of us have gotten our photos professionally done before.
