If I could give Kortni 1 million stars I would. Kortni and her second shooter were the ultimate dream team. From the second I met Kortni I was so thankful I hired her. She helped me pick some of my other vendors, due to the amount of trust I had in her. Starting from our engagement shoot, Kortni and I bonded so well. My, now husband is so shy in front of the camera and Kortni made him feel so comfortable & for that I’m forever grateful. Kortni was phenomenal and I would 10000% recommend her to any of my friends / family.

Kortni made our surprise proposal day exponentially better. We communicated for several months leading up to the proposal and Kortni was super responsive. She even helped me form a plan B in case of emergency. During the shoot, she was a pro at acting unsuspecting before the proposal happened. Afterwards, she gave directions for us (not photogenic) to pose and be ourselves. It felt super natural and fun. Our pictures turned out amazing, I think we look at them everyday. I would absolutely work with Kortni again and recommend her to everyone I know.

Kortni was the most incredible wedding photographer anyone could ever want. If you're even considering having her shoot your wedding DO IT!!!!! She captures the most magical and perfect photos (even for a couple that absolutely hates having their photo taken)! She is so friendly and calming, there will be no stress when she is shooting your day but she will still capture every important moment. Every time something was happening we would turn around and she was there capturing it. She gives you sneak peaks almost immediately and the photos are absolute perfection. My husband and I stumbled upon Kortni’s page while we were contemplating having a big wedding or just running away to the mountains and eloping. We immediately fell in love with her unique style of work and decided let’s head to the mountains. She answered in a timely and professional manner, and took away all of our fears about eloping. A friend took photos of our wedding as a wedding present, but we only got a couple "sneak peak" photos and none of my husband and I. We were heartbroken! On our first year anniversary we got back in our wedding clothes & Kortni got some amazing photos of us! Kortni was just wonderful from the second we were in contact with her. She helped guide us to the perfect elopement spot. And she took the most beautiful pictures to make our day even more memorable. We honestly could not have asked for a better experience. We felt she captured our personalities and passion in all of the photos. Kortni has been so incredible to work with! I was following her for awhile on Instagram so when I got engaged I knew I wanted her to shoot our engagement and wedding photos! Her style is so unique and beautiful! Once I reached out to her I loved how she asked questions about myself and my fiancé to get to know us. You can tell Kortni truly cares about all her couples! We get married in October so have only gotten engagement photos but we were absolutely blown away by them! It was an absolute privilege to get to work with Kortni for our elopement!! This will be a long review because we LOVED our experience with Kortni, but the short version is: hire her!! Not only is Kortni an incredible photographer but also a kind, calm, wonderful person to be around. She is so flexible, adventurous, and brings the perfect calm, kind energy to what can be a hectic day. She is truly an expert at her craft and I cried SO much when we saw our photos for the first time. The photos Kortni captured were beautiful, authentic, entirely natural, and somehow truly captured our love and that magical moment in time. She is an expert at calm, specific direction and knows exactly what to say to guide us in the moment—she made me want to hire her for photo shoots whenever humanly possible because it was just so much FUN! We didn’t know what to expect, never having had a photographer around us before, but Kortni exceeded our hopes for what it could be like by a million miles! We are kind of camera-shy people, but with Kortni it was insanely easy, comfortable, and resulted in a STUNNING end product. I can be pretty picky, coming from a fine art background myself, and was honestly blown away by the photos she took. I was so worried about getting good photos when looking for a photographer and I imagine many brides feel the same. Thankfully, if you’re reading this review, you’ve found Kortni. And that means you don’t have to worry any more—just book her 😊. Now into some more specific-to-us detail, we were one of the COVID couples who had to make the tough choice to postpone our wedding due to the pandemic, but Kortni was incredible throughout the whole process. We actually live in Montana currently, but our original wedding was planned to be in the Lake George area. When we decided to postpone the wedding and elope in Montana in the meantime, we were shocked when Kortni offered to travel out to Montana to photograph our elopement instead! She and her equally awesome husband, Mike, made the long drive out. We invited them to stay at an Airbnb near Glacier National Park with us and they’re awesome houseguests to top it all off! If only we lived closer to the Adirondack region we’d totally be real-life friends with these lovely people. They were SO patient with us and willing to be unbelievably flexible as we went back and forth about whether to have the elopement in the Tetons or Glacier, all while they were driving across the country toward us!! We ultimately settled on Glacier and it was a truly magical evening. Everyone we show the photos to literally gasps a little at how beautiful they are! We honestly can’t believe we got so lucky—thank you SO MUCH Kortni!!! We are beyond excited to see her again and have her photograph our full-on wedding (the one we postponed due to COVID) this weekend!! It’s a tremendous relief to know that despite the inevitable stress that goes along with a larger event Kortni is one part we absolutely don’t have to worry about. Her calm, confident, kind presence will be a blessing in the midst of a hectic day. As I’m sure you’ve seen as you’re looking through her work, Kortni is truly an artist. I tell everyone I know that hiring her was the best decision I made about the wedding by far (second only to deciding to marry my now-husband, of course 😉). Kortni is an absolute dream to work with. Prior to us hiring her, I had seriously stalked her page for a long time LOL. Being a creative myself, I was looking for someone that had a unique aesthetic and paid as much attention to detail as I did. That being said, her editing style honestly blew me away. I can recognize her pictures amongst a sea of hundreds (and I follow a LOT of photographers) - hers ALWAYS stand out. Not to mention, her keen eye for framing and simply capturing the emotions amongst her subjects is something I fell in love with. This is a skill not all photographers have - she is the complete package. Needless to say, I was actually jumping for joy when we reached out to her and she was available for our date. Come wedding day, she was a complete angel. Soft spoken, but assertive in what she knew would give us the best possible pictures. She also somehow managed to snap her images without being boastful about her presence. From experience, some photographers are very "up front" and in the couples faces, especially during the ceremony. Kortni however, was able to capture intimate moments with us hardly knowing she was there. She was like a ninja in disguise! As a bride and groom who obviously are experiencing a day of overwhelming emotions, this was an added bonus that we didn't know we needed. Having her behind the scenes rather than "in our face" (for lack of a better term) made the experience extremely peaceful. We felt like we could enjoy ourselves and digest the day as it was happening, rather than be bossed around, just to get the shots we wanted. She was able to capture every necessary shot, but also candids that were extremely meaningful and personal to us and our personalities. She was kind and easy to work with, especially amongst our crazy families and the occasional outbursts of emotions. Our friends and families are absolutely blown away by her images already, and we only have the sneak peaks! They have never seen edits like hers, and can not say enough about how amazingly beautiful all of the images are so far. If you are questioning hiring Kortni, STOP thinking and do it NOW!!! She is well worth the money - heck I would have paid double! We can not express enough how appreciative we are to have had her at our wedding, capturing the best day of our lives.

Booking Kortni for our Adirondack elopement was the best decision we could have made. She was everything we hoped for and more! We are usually awkward in photos and she made our photo shoot so fun and effortless. We genuinly had such a fun time. We got our sneak peek photos back quickly and they were amazing. When we got our full album back I was blown away. I expected to get a decent amount of photos that were amazing, but they were all amazing! I could pick any picture out of our album and it would be worthy of being framed. The photos also capture our true selves and don't look posed which is exactly what we wanted. Wow we are completely blown away by our wedding photos by Kortni!! Kortni is everything you could ever hope for in a photographer. The first time we met was for our engagement photo session. Kortni photographed me and my wife’s elopement, and I would highly recommend her for anyone else. Kortni and Mikey are good friends of ours. She reached out to us last summer to take a short video of my fiancé and I (at the time). She told us she was just trying it out and testing the waters. We just got our engagement photos from our shoot in Lake George at the end of September. We had such a fun time doing the shoot!
