Pat was amazing! She went above and beyond for our wedding. She made the entire process for writing out ceremony (which holy cow that is way more work then I would have ever thought) SO easy. She exceeded my expectations, showed up on the big day and knew exactly what she’s doing. Our ceremony was beautiful and she kept the audience engaged with a beautiful speaking voice. Sent reminders of our tasks we needed to do for legal stuff. You can’t mess up your ceremony if you have Pat. Would recommend to anyone.

Working with Rachel at Koru Ceremony made our wedding day feel so complete. From our very first calls, she took the time to get to know us as a couple and understand what was important to us. Creating our ceremony script was a breeze with the outline provided by Koru, and Rachel helped make it feel truly intimate by incorporating personal touches throughout.
Our guests had so many wonderful comments about Rachel’s welcoming tone, smooth pacing, and the way she delivered the ceremony. She brought so much warmth to the ceremony and brought many of our guests (and us!) to happy tears!

I am the youngest of six children born to Irish immigrants and my love for celebrations was passed down to me from my parents and their parents. Throughout my years of student and pastoral ministry, I have had the opportunity to share my inherited love for celebrations with many couples. Together, we’ve developed ceremonies that represented their story and honored the commitments they made to one another. Officiating weddings is sacred and beautiful work. I fell in love with the lakes, the seasons, but most importantly, the kindhearted people here, and yes, even the snow. One of my favorite sights is looking out my kitchen window on an early winter morning, when the sun kisses the first snowfall of the year, and everything looks dusted with soft glitter. I became an officiant when dear friends asked me to marry them. As I was writing their love story, I thought about the role that love plays in all our lives and wrote a short essay on the nature of unconditional love. I have taken on many roles at weddings, working as both a coordinator and a bridal alterations seamstress, so officiating professionally with Koru feels like a natural fit for me. I genuinely enjoy honoring the presence of unconditional love in our lives. Officiating a wedding is such a reverent thing, and a role I love navigating for all its various parts. Part event design, creating a ceremony rich with symbolism. Part counselor, tuning into a couple's essence. Part teacher, as the conductor of the wedding ceremony. I plan out the who-what-where, teach the wedding party direction and confidence, and am the experienced captain of the ship if things don't go according to plan. It's a big responsibility, but I love being a guidepost for my couples. Every wedding I work on feels like a gift. I get to see unconditional love in the ceremonies I create; they're not just memorable for the couple, but for everyone in attendance as a reminder of the love in their own lives. emony was compared to other weddings they've been to. Pat is so kind, organized, and extremely experienced. If you are a Type A person like me, Koru will put your mind at ease. They have very nice worksheets that lay everything out beautifully, examples of every little part of the ceremony so you can choose the vibe of the ceremony that best fits you, and there's always flexibility to customize any part of the ceremony to make it absolutely perfect. They send you the final ceremony way ahead of time so you know exactly what will be said and you can make edits as much as you’d like. At the beginning they will meet with you to get to know you as a couple so they can share your story throughout the ceremony. They can even help you write your vows if you like. Also, other companies will say they can't guarantee your officiant will be able to attend your rehearsal, which is so crazy in my opinion because that's kind of the whole point of a rehearsal, but when we asked Pat if Koru does she was like "Well yes of course I would be there!" and she ran the whole rehearsal for us, our venue coordinator probably didn’t even have to be there. She even sent a video ahead of time to help us learn a dip kiss for the end of the ceremony to get that picture-perfect moment. Another bonus, they will also help you through getting your marriage license and certificate and even file your license for you! If you want piece of mind, the best ceremony ever, and no surprises along the way, this is the one!

Úna was incredibly involved in every step of the process. She took the time to get to know us both as individuals and as a couple. She guided us through the structure and flow of the ceremony and provided valuable input, but she made sure not to force her own opinions on us. She did a wonderful job helping us craft our vows and ensured that the ceremony was exactly what we wanted it to be.
On the day of the wedding the ceremony was everything that we hoped for. It was heartfelt, inclusive, and beautifully delivered. So many of our guests commented on how perfect and moving it was. Úna's presence was greatly appreciated on the day of our wedding. She made it very clear to us that she would handle all communication with the DJ and event coordinator to make sure that the ceremony went smoothly.

n an officiant was one of our tougher decisions for us during wedding planning. We went back and forth on asking a friend vs hiring a vendor. Pat was so personable and bubbly during our first meet, my husband and I knew the second we hung up on the Zoom meeting that we were going to hire her. Pat was so easygoing and responsive to questions/changes we made throughout the process. She was also a large help during our rehearsal and had a ton of great tips for the wedding party. Hiring Koru was one of the best decision we made for our wedding day.

unicator, and very experienced and knew all of the tricks of the trade, which a friend just wouldn’t have known (stepping out of the way for the first kiss, method for us repeating back words, logistics for walking down the aisle, method for rings exchange, etc.). We crafted our ceremony from Koru’s packet of ready-made sections for each part of the ceremony. Sarah went over it with us in detail beforehand and made all the minor tweaks that we asked for. She helped us have our ceremony remain focused on us and our relationship. Sarah ran the rehearsal very well and has great attention to detail. She was quirky and fun and we enjoyed it. Sarah also provided marriage license and name change information, which was super helpful. It was a great feeling to feel solid about our ceremony and officiant. She genuinely cares about us as a couple. Sarah did a great job! We would highly recommend her to anyone!

s the one that was suggested for us. As soon as we met with her, we knew we wanted to book with her - she was so friendly and engaged in the conversation. We could tell immediately that she would be the right fit - perfect energy level for what we wanted, we related to her on several personal levels and she was very compassionate when we explained certain family issues that we had that may be pertinent to the ceremony.
After our first meeting with her, we filled out all the information in the online portal to determine wording preferences for our vows/ceremony. Then we received the first draft of the ceremony, which included several comments and clarifications from Úna. Any questions we had regarding wording changes were met with enthusiasm and she gave us plenty of helpful feedback. We were so pleased with how the final draft came out.
We had a rehearsal dinner at a local restaurant and Úna attended to help us walk everything through. She helped keep all the members of the wedding party focused during the rehearsal, while being very chill and fun to work with. We had asked her to make a small announcement to remind people to not drink too heavily before the ceremony, and she delivered that announcement very tactfully and kept the mood light.
She arrived to the venue on time to make sure everything was situated for the ceremony, and made sure everything ran smoothly prior to guests arriving. After the ceremony, several different guests approached us to compliment the ceremony and Úna’s role in it specifically. She stuck around for a little bit during our cocktail hour and was very popular with all of the guests who spoke with her.
Overall, Koru was very easy to work with, and we are so incredibly happy that we chose Úna to work with. We would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for an officiant that will enthusiastically help curate the perfect, personalized ceremony.

pectations. Our wedding had several non-traditional elements and Úna not only supported our decisions but helped us make them perfect for all of our guests. She read over our vows (which were received very well), she helped us fine tune non-traditional aspects of our wedding so that they came across naturally, and she took all of our questions and concerns extremely seriously. Without her support our ceremony (and aspects outside the ceremony) wouldn't have been as amazing. Every single guest said that our ceremony was amazing, with some claiming that it was the best ceremony they had ever been to. We did not hear a single negative sentence about our ceremony even from the most traditional family/friends. Overall working with Úna was amazing and we cannot recommend her enough!

She was very helpful in each step of the process including helping us decide on a unity ceremony that was both unique and meaningful to us as a couple. We were able to customize and personalize our ceremony. She sent us several drafts of the ceremony script and was incredibly receptive to any additional last minute changes we wanted to make.
Guests commented that our ceremony was one of the best they’ve heard due to the unique and personal touches that Úna incorporated. Many people asked us our relationship to Úna and were shocked to find out that we hadn’t known her long. People were very impressed with how well she seemed to know us and our history!

On our big day she showed up early and checked in with me. She made sure I was doing well and double checked we had all the forms we needed before hand to make everything run smooth. She then when to check in with the DJ and set up. The ceremony was perfect. Alex and I felt extremely comfortable up there with her and knew exactly what to expect. After the ceremony was over she helped us sign our license and congratulated us. We never felt rushed and felt heard the whole time.
Afterwards during the reception I can’t tell you how many compliments we got on the ceremony. All in all we were told it was beautifully written, the perfect length to get the point across, the delivery was spectacular and original. Our guests were also very moved by the ceremony and we were also told it was one of the best weddings they’ve been to this year, a lot of them being to many weddings already this year.
We can’t say how grateful we are that we chose you guys and felt our wedding ceremony exceeded our expectations. Thank you for providing a wonderful service.

Pat took time to get to know us, who we were individually and as a couple and created a ceremony that was absolutely us. When we first got our script for approval, I cried. We also received so many compliments after the ceremony on how great it was executed.
We couldn't have asked for a better day and Pat started the afternoon with a beautiful ceremony, one we could have only dreamed of.

The ceremony Brad put together was so sweet and meaningful, and he was also so receptive to our initial edits.
