5 STARS 10/10 WOULD RECOMMEND! Kaylie has such a great eye, is creative, and is able to clearly portray her vision for events. We got married in the middle of COVID and Kaylie was so very accommodating to provide blooms and bouquets for our super intimate wedding day in May and created beautiful centerpieces and decor on the date of our rescheduled reception in July (all while traveling from Florida to Kansas City for both occasions). Kaylie is absolutely amazing to work with!

Kaylie did the floral and event design for my wedding and absolutely NAILED it!!! She is one of the sweetest ladies ever and was so much more to me during the planning process than just a florist. Do yourself a favor and hire her now!! She totally got my vision from day one and was nothing short of amazing to work with. Our day was perfect thanks to her!!

Kaylie made the personal florals for me, my bridesmaids, my groom, and the groomsmen for my wedding. She was very professional: easy to communicate with, accommodating, organized. She gave me a good deal on beautiful arrangements which were exactly true to the vision I had shared with her. Would hire again in a heartbeat.

Wow, wow, WOW is all I have to say about Kaylie and her fantastic team. Her floral and greenery designs for our wedding and reception were SPOT ON! My bouquet was PERFECT. She really made the event space align with my ideas and was so accommodating to my meeting needs as I was planning from a distance. I cannot be happier with our decision to use Kaylie as our florist for our wedding. She did an amazing job listening to and hearing every word I said, and helped bring my vision to life. Kaylie is amazing! The flowers and rentals were beautiful! First, I just have to commend her for arriving at the venue very early and working in sweltering heat to decorate our arbor. It was very hot that day. She is a hard worker! Kaylie is also very kind and pleasant to work with. The arbor was stunning! The reception flowers were dreamy. The flowers at my wedding were one of the most important things to me. I really had a vision and really wanted to get it right. Kaylie did that and so much more. Not only did she perfectly translate my vision into a reality, she made beautiful suggestions to enhance my event. Kaylie and her assistants were helpful, timely, and professional at all times. If you want a florist who is also an event design wizard, Kaylie is your girl. If you say romantic she knows exactly which bloom will portray that feeling. Stunning! Beautiful! Amazing! She did so awesomely fantastic. It made the whole venue look amazing. She has such a way with flowers and it’s so crazy how amazing they turn out! I loved all of it and so did all of the guest! So many comments on how beautiful the flowers were and how great the smelled! She’s amazing!

Calling all Kansas City brides! If you want the perfect flowers and decor for your wedding day you have to use KP Event Design!! They truly put our vision to life with their work and it made our wedding day so beautiful. We originally met with Kaylie’s husband for our consultation meeting and later followed up with Kaylie. The two of them work together so well, she picked up right where we left off! They make you feel like you’re the most important people in the world, they are very professional and personable, they will listen to you and they truly are miracle workers. KP provided our bouquets, our alter treatment at 1890 and all of our centerpieces for our reception hall. They totally exceeded our expectations with the work they put together. When I arrived at the venue after getting ready, my bridesmaids and I walked through the reception hall and were BLOWN AWAY by their work. At the end of the night it killed me to say goodbye to all of the beautiful floral center pieces! I’m so glad we chose to have my bouquet preserved so that I will have a piece of their work forever. I promise you that you’re in good hands using KP!

Kaylie did such an amazing job at our wedding. When we first met with Kaylie, I didn’t really know what I was looking forward. Through the consultations, she helped me find what I liked and eventually the overall style of the wedding. On the day of the wedding, I was blown away with what she provided. Our photographer said that, if she were to get married again that she would want our flowers and centerpieces. I would say that is a very meaninging ful compliment! Kaylie does a great job and is very kind and personable.

We met several times to go over color schemes, florals, lights, etc. I was stunned as I walked into my venue on the big day and that wasn't even the finished product. Kaylie truly made our reception sparkle with the most AMAZING string lighting inside our barn venue ever! She was so professional and sweet too! The lighting in the barn made our reception exactly what we dreamt of and looked so perfect in the pictures with them hanging all around the ceiling! Kaylie was nothing short of amazing! From our initial meeting she listened to our vision of the perfect wedding for our family. She took extensive notes and showed us photos of different flowers and design options. Working closely with our wedding planner Sarah from Quintessential Events, the two were a dynamic duo designing a beautiful wedding that blew us and our guests away!! Not only did Kylie design the perfect flower arrangements she designed our signage, menus, seating chart design and backdrop for our wedding. She was very easy to work with and very talented!

The KP Team did our wedding early this spring. Kaylie and her team answered all of my questions (even at 2 in the morning) She even gave me her personal cell phone number in case I needed anything. My flowers were everything I wanted and more! We had a mix of peonies, hydrangea, garden roses and many more that all lasted all day long. Her team set up everything so I didn't have to think about it and even came back to do a final check and light candles right before the ceremony started. It was so nice knowing she was on my side and was in communication with me all day to make sure everything went as planned. I have NOTHING BAD to say about working with KP Event Design! Kaylie was such an amazing person to work with! I planned my wedding from out of state and Kaylie was able to come up with beautiful bouquet arrangements after only one meeting in person and mostly only email correspondance. She has such a fun personality and is very creative with what she does. The end product was absolutely gorgeous! Her staff dropped off everything at my venue and picked up all of the vases afterward. It was such a relief to not have to worry about picking up or cleaning up after the wedding reception. I loved working with Kaylie and would HIGHLY recommend her to any bride!!

When I went in for my proposal meeting, I had absolutely no idea of how I wanted my wedding to look. All I knew was that I liked a few flowers. On the day of the wedding, she was early with a smile on her face. Her team was very professional and they made the set up look easy. This is a team that I would highly recommend.

I loved my flower arrangements! I know nothing about flowers and wasn't sure what I wanted anything to look like. Kaylie helped lead me to choices that made for the perfect arrangement for me. The store was in process of moving during my planning so getting in contact with her at times was a little difficult. I kept my flowers out on display for as long as I could after the wedding because they made me so happy! Kaylie can create beautiful arrangements even if all you know is roses!

I was very excited to work with Kaylie after our consultation. We expected to hear from her within a day or two following the consultation with a proposal but we never heard back from her. I emailed several times trying to get back in touch with her so we could book the date and was completely ignored. In my opinion it was because my fiance and I expressed to her that we did not want to spend very much on the flowers as we had already spent a lot of our budget on our venue. Very unprofessional to ignore a potential customer regardless of their budget!!!!

I honestly can't say enough good things about Kaylie and KP Event Design. Although I love the look of flowers, I have no idea of the names and what looks good together. Kaylie took my random pinterest board of wedding things and created the most BEAUTIFUL bouquets for our wedding. She decorated the church, our venue and even suggested ways she could help us save money but still have a fabulous display. Any person that is looking for flowers or other help for their wedding; I always recommend her. She is so knowledgeable and kind. AMAZING! Kaylie helped me every step of the way from picking flowers and colors to floor plan and centerpieces! highly recommend KP Floral & Event Design!

Kaylie is incredible. I described a few flower types that I liked and a general style/look I was going for, and it's as if she lifted the design from my mind's eye and brought it to life. Rather than doing a big centerpiece at each table, I wanted to do a bunch of smaller, individual blooms in little bud vases and she took it and ran with it! When I got to the reception, I was in awe. I had imagined what my dream centerpieces would look like, and somehow, she made it even more beautiful. Because KP Event Design does more than just floral, they had lots of bits and pieces they could use to incorporate into the design. So they had the bud vases that we ended up using for centerpieces. I also said I wanted something in the center of each table to anchor the bud vases and bring it all together, and they supplied these little circular risers (which they painted gold to match my colors), and also supplied silver mercury glass to match some mercury glass I was going to provide myself. On top of all the beautiful bouquets and centerpieces, they also made us an altar! We knew we wanted something to frame us when we were saying our vows during the ceremony. When we mentioned this to Kaylie during our first meeting, she pulled out a notebook and started sketching an idea for a backdrop, complete with flowy, luxurious fabric and silhouetted candles on pillars of differing heights. It was ultimate romance. We ended up picking KP because of their flexibility and reach - they are WAY more than just flowers!

I had no idea what I wanted for my wedding when I started planning. All I had was a date and an idea that I didn't want to pick colors in the traditional sense. Kaylie was patient and walked me through multiple options. She has an ability created truly personal flower arrangements that were perfect for my special day. Even though I did not know where to start or what exactly I wanted Kaylie was able to help me narrow down my ideas and create exactly what I wanted and stay within my budget.

Kaylie was such a joy to work with for my wedding and reception! After our proposal was finished about 5 months before our wedding, my husband and I had to change the location of our wedding 3 months before the big day. Which also meant that all of our decorations had to be completely altered! Kaylie was SO helpful and patient in designing a new concept on such short notice. Every final product used for our wedding and reception was PERFECT! My family and I were so impressed with every one of her designs from my bouquet to the large tall centerpieces used for our ceremony. Kaylie was also very prompt in answering any questions and willing to help in every way. She works within your budget and finds ways that work for you for your wedding day. I will be recommending her to anyone who asks!

Kaylie with KP is just fantastic! I had a dream idea for an arbor at my wedding, but about a month out I realized it was just too much of a challenge for me to do myself. I contacted a few vendors trying to find someone who would be able to help me with so little time to spare, and Kaylie was gung ho from the beginning! My favorite part of working with her was the collaboration – I presented her my Pinterest dream and she worked with me to create something just as beautiful while staying in my price range AND giving me different options. She came out and installed it for me day of, I never had to worry about a thing, and it was absolutely gorgeous! I received so many compliments! I could not be happier with the service I received from Kaylie at KP Event Design. I didn't have a lot of ideas about what I was looking for in regards to flowers, just some pins off Pinterest about flowers I thought were pretty. Kaylie took what I had and created the most beautiful bouquets and arrangements! She was able to pinpoint flowers that I had in most of my pins, and then also gave me different options of flowers that may be lower cost but look similar to help in lowering my overall cost. Also, I was unsure of what my true budget was for flowers and she was able to type up a range for each item I needed so I could pick how much I wanted to spend. So helpful! I also had no idea how I wanted to decorate the church and she totally came up with it and it was so beautiful! I loved it. She delivered flowers to the girls the day of, to the guys, decorated the church, and even waited until after the ceremony to take down everything she used to decorate the church and moved the arrangements over to the reception venue so I could cut cost by reusing flowers. Words cannot describe how happy I am with my experience!
