We booked Shane & team after asking our photographer for some videographer recommendations and it was one of the best decisions we made! I was actually on the fence about hiring a videographer at all but my husband really wanted one. As soon as I read Shane’s website and learned about his philosophy and saw some teased videos I was convinced he’s our guy! You barely notice the cameras around, I never felt smothered, and I know the finished product is going to be something we cherish forever. Peter and Kristen from Shane’s team were on site with us the day of and they were so nice and friendly! They worked incredibly well with our photographer and never clashed or got in each other's way. They were pretty much a well oiled machine! If you are on the fence about a videographer like I was, talk to Shane and you won’t be disappointed!

Shane was absolutely WONDERFUL! He was professional, timely, and made us feel comfortable the entire day. Some of the time, we didn't even know he was there! My husband and I are over the moon about our wedding film and how beautiful it turned out. Shane did an incredible job and truly captured all of the details, emotions, and most important and intimate moments from our day, in our video. His work is by far the BEST and he exceeded our expectations. We have people writing to us and telling us that our video is the most amazing wedding video they have ever seen. Shane adds such a unique flair to his videos, unlike anything we have ever seen before. We can't say enough wonderful things about his work and how talented he is. Perhaps like some of you, we were on the fence about a videographer initially, and couldn't have been happier in hiring Shane. He and his assistant were extremely professional and captured all key moments. He knew when to step in and give direction but could also be a ninja in the background to capture candid moments. He was also open to some of our preferences or suggestions which was greatly appreciated. Our end product was fantastic and he really knocked our cinematic trailer out of the park. Compared to other videographers, we thought he stood out in terms of his creative vision for trailers, excellent audio quality, smooth transitions, and fun (but not overused) effects such as slow motion. The trailed combined with the documentary edits created a lovely memory of the day.

Videography has become an integral component of weddings. I love that it captures wedding toasts, stolen glances, and first dances. Planning for a wedding can be stressful, but it makes a world of difference when you have the right team by your side. On my wedding day, I was surprised at how carefree I felt. I was able to enjoy the whole day because I knew I made the right choice in choosing my vendors and that they would do their best to capture every moment. Kress Productions was so easy to work with. Shane Kress communicates well and responds quickly to emails. One week before the wedding, we spoke on the phone to discuss in detail the timing and itinerary for the day so he can prepare and also offer advice on how to best organize the day efficiently. On our wedding day, he came almost 1 hour early to set up and we had so much fun shooting with him. We also appreciate that he wants to give each project careful attention and produce the best video possible. We highly recommend Kress Productions because, plain and simple, they are fun to work with and very reliable!

Simply the best! We brought Shane and his team in to Manhattan for our alt/rustic/urban wedding this summer and it was the best decision we made. After extensive shopping online for the right cinematographer, we finally came across Kress Productions and immediately hired Shane. He responded to our emails right away, always had answers to our questions, and we felt very comfortable right from the start. On the wedding day, we barely knew he was there which was something we spoke extensively about because everyone hates annoying wedding videographers. Shane was the opposite - a total ninja! We don't even know how he got some of the shots in our video because we barely remember him at the wedding. We hired Kress Productions for our wedding on 9.16.2016 at the Liberty House in Jersey City. Kress Productions was referred to us by our photographer Jorge Garcia. Since Jorge and Kress Productions have collaborated for numerous weddings and have a great working relationship we thought it would be a great idea to consider hiring Kress Productions. Their work is beautiful and the style was exactly what were looking for. After my first conversation with Shane I knew I wanted to hire him and his team right away! He was very nice, easy to communicate with and no question was a silly question. On our wedding day Shane was prompt and went right to work. My husband and I, our wedding party and parents felt very comfortable with the production team capturing our special moments. Shane is the owner of the production company and he is also the main person filming on the day of the wedding along with an assistant. I am so happy we went with a self owned production company because he really takes pride in his work and delivers in a timely manner. When we watched our highlight video I was very very happy with it!! It brought tears to my eyes and it brought us back to our wedding day. All of our loved ones loved it as well! Not too long after we received the blue ray with the whole wedding footage. I have heard horror stories about photographers & videographers; whether they do not work well with one another, they are rude, or they take very long to deliver footage of the wedding day. I can say we did not have any of those issues! It is very important that the photographer and videographer mesh well with one another. I highly recommend hiring Kress Productions to capture that special day!!!

I don't know that I can describe how wonderful of a job Shane and his crew did on our wedding video. His style is unique and his videos tell a story of the wedding day in a manner like no other. Our video captures every moment of the day and brings about those same emotions we felt on our wedding day. Shane was available to be reached at any moment and helpful with suggestions along the way. Please do yourself a favor and watch the videos on his site and know that you too will get a video as terrific as ours and all of Shane's previous customers. I cannot recommend Shane enough, he and his team are the best out there in my opinion.

Kress Productions was amazing! I could not be happier with how our wedding video came out. Both the trailer and the feature were phenomenal with so many great shots. Shane and Peter were incredibly professional and were not in the way at all, like some videographers can be. I am not even entirely sure how they got all of the fantastic shots they did because you barely knew they were there. I have had so many compliments from people I have showed the videos to, many of them wishing they had a video like the one we have. I love that we have the shorter trailer that has some of the main shots that we can share with friends and on social media, but we also have the longer video that really gets through the parts of the day that you may have forgotten because of how hectic that day can be. Leading up to the wedding, Shane helped us plan out when a good time frame would be for certain things and got an idea of what our schedule was so that he could work around what worked best for us. He already had all of these great ideas for shots before he even got there. It was so nice that the video was when thing I really felt like I didn't need to stress about at all that day because I knew we were in good hands.

I used Shane for my July 2016 wedding. He was a pleasure to work with. The planning process seemed so easy and he thought of everything that needed to be planned ahead of time. I felt very relaxed knowing I didn't have to worry about anything. He was always responsive to all emails I sent. Shane brought a second shooter with him as well. The second shooter was also fantastic. Both of them operated in the background the whole time, so it did not feel like an intrusion, yet they captured beautiful footage. Shane also worked very well with my photographer, and with my band. He had to coordinate sound and microphones during the ceremony and speeches. He kept to his timeframe as well for delivering our highlight trailer and our final product. His price was also right what we were looking for, and I think he final product looks like it would have cost more than it did! I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

Shane and his team were the most talented, professional, and sweet people for our September wedding. The documentary-style wedding videos they created for us were absolutely beautiful and artistic. I have watched the videos on repeat since receiving them a mere 2 weeks after the wedding. Not only are the videos flawless and showcase only the happiest, sweetest moments of the day, but Shane himself is a joy and pleasure to work with. Such a calming personality, which is going to be very important to counteract the stresses of your wedding day. We were recommended to Kress Productions and we were so happy with the results! Shane was great to work with, easy to book, and very thorough. He sent us samples of his work before deciding, and everything was beautiful! On wedding day he was so easy to work with. He was able to capture detailed footage without being intrusive, and we loved the final videos! We didn't have to wait too long for them, either, which was much appreciated since we were so excited to get everything back! Choosing Shane and Kress Productions as our wedding cinematographer was a fantastic decision we made. There was so much ease in working with Shane: he answered questions right away, met with us to discuss our wedding plan, and made sure we felt calm and assured that everything would get done how we wanted. Shane captured our wedding beautifully, the turn-around was so quick for both the online wedding highlights video and the DVDs, and we had so many family members and friends compliment the quality and emotion of our wedding video. It took us months to research and find the perfect cinematographer to document our wedding and can sincerely say that Kress Productions was by far, the best we could have ever chosen. We had such a great experience working with Shane for our wedding day. We were looking for a cinematic approach and certainly got that. Shane was laid back and super easy to work with from day one and worked great with our photographer and makeup artist. He made sure to ask what things I definitely wanted captured and cared about what we wanted. I hardly knew Shane and his assistance were at the church and reception, as they blended so well. Shane caught so many different angles at the church and during our dances at the reception that it is hard to believe there was only 2 videographers with cameras. We couldn't picture how it would all come together with the poses and setups Shane and his assistant had us do, but we were NOT disappointed. When Shane sent us our highlight reel (which only took THREE WEEKS to get to us!) we were amazed. I had tears in my eyes and didn't even cry on my wedding day. Our friends, family, and even strangers who saw the video online were in awe and we were told lots of tears were shed, even from people who didn't know us, because of the emotion Shane caught. Our full video caught the entire ceremony and important aspects of our reception. The angles of the entrances and dances were like a movie. We received the full DVD about a month after the wedding. We would absolutely recommend Shane at Kress Productions for any bride looking for a cinematic approach and stress free experience.

We could not have asked for a better videography company to shoot our wedding. We hardly knew Shane and his team were there and the final products delivered were phenomenal.

Shane provided exemplary service from start to finish. He was a pleasure to work with through the contract phase right up until our most special day. He and his team worked seamlessly to ensure memories were captured but were barely noticeable, which speaks to their professionalism and skill in their craft. And the videos. They were stunning, and perfect, and truly all-encompassing. Shane wove together a series of moments into a truly priceless gift for us to keep for all time. The cinema reel was my favorite because it included moments from the entire day, but all of the footage was crisp and lovely. I highly recommend Shane for your videography needs. Choosing a videographer for your wedding is not an easy task but I was so very fortunate to have come across the work of Kress Productions soon after I began my search. After viewing their work online, I knew immediately that they would produce a phenomenal video for us. They are creative, dedicated and very enthusiastic -all of which shows in their work. I used Shane based on a friends recommendation and it was probably one of the best decisions I made for my wedding! First of all, his prices can't be beat for the value you get. He is extremely talented and could easily charge double (like all the other videographers out there). He is very friendly/easy to work with and the day of no one will notice him yet he will get the most AMAZiNG shots. During the ceremony every word is perfectly captured on his equipment. His videos are like movies your friends will actually ask to re-watch the videos with you they are so good! Highly recommend!

I cannot even begin to describe how pleased I am with my wedding video. Kress productions did a PHENOMENAL job! It truly exceeded our expectations and I found myself crying after seeing it for the first time. We have received so many compliments from friends and family as well. I now have the most beautiful memory of my wedding. Shane and Peter were outstanding. They were professional, friendly, funny and instructive. Which is so important on your wedding. We felt like we had our own little entourage all day. I would highly highly highly recommend them.
