She made sure we kept to our pre-wedding schedule in terms of meal selection, coordinated the tastings, helped with the seating chart, etc before-hand and on our wedding day, continued to make sure we were running on schedule, helped time out the wedding party walking so that I came out at the perfect part of my song, helped with where family members should sit for the ceremony, reminded us when it was time to cut the cake, totally transformed the space between the ceremony and reception in what seemed like a matter of minutes (and in a totally organic, not awkward way while our guests enjoyed drinks and appetizers), etc. she has been with this venue for years and had dozens of incredibly helpful recommendations based on her vast experience. She and her team were always very responsive to all of our questions - often returning emails within a few hours or even minutes. There is certainly something to be said of the convenience not having to coordinate between as many different vendors. I can’t say enough about this venue and the services they provide. Like many couples doing this for the first time, we had no idea what we were doing, and they made everything so easy. The staff was super friendly, helpful, and professional. We feel that we got everything we paid for and so much more. And the location was perfect, having guests coming from out of town, the city, and further east (Brown and Adams Co.). There are hotels nearby, and both Ubers and on-site parking were super convenient. We had several guests tell us it was the most beautiful and well-thought out wedding they had ever been to and, while I may be a bit biased, I’d have to agree. Our day was everything we could have dreamed. Thank you Krippendorf and Julie for giving us the most perfect day and memory to look back for the rest of our lives.

and the food and service were excellent. The ability to close the walls of the tent helped give me peace of mind in case of rain on our wedding day. Our wedding photos in the surrounding forest are amazing and just what I wanted; green, bright, and natural looking. You also get a free membership for 2 to the Cincinnati Nature Center for one year if you book here. Our wedding ended up being on a hot day with plenty of gnats in the outdoor tent (they seemed attracted to our flower displays), but our guests had a wonderful time and enjoyed the lovely scenery.

Everything was "spot on" and the staff not only treated us/married couple like royalty they also treated our guests like that too. We received so many compliments on the delicious food as well as how well the staff took care of everyone. Julie is a joy to work with and each and every detail was handled perfectly. She's a gem and a true professional at her job. We couldn't be happier with our choice in wedding venue and caterer. If we could give more than 5 stars believe us we would. Highly recommend having your wedding at the Krippendorf Lodge with Elegant Fare as your caterer!! Bravo.

l and great to work with. Julie the coordinator was so organized and reached out throughout our planning process to make sure everything was covered. The cost of the venue was moderate pricing but well worth it. I have no regrets because it was a day that I'll never forget.

self give an added bonus. Without a doubt though, the best thing about having your wedding at Krippendorf is Julie and the Elegant Fare crew. Julie is truly a seasoned professional, and made our entire wedding seamless from start to finish. Elegant Fare not only had wonderful food, but gorgeous presentation and professional and courteous servers and bartenders. Another added bonus about booking here is that you do not have to worry about dealing with multiple vendors, contracts, and fees for tables, chairs, linens, china, tent, day of coordinator etc - it is all included, which makes the whole process a little less stressful. Our guests raved about the beauty of the venue, and how great the food was. We could not be happier with our decision to book here.

one big negative is that you can't choose your caterer - you have to go with the one caterer they provide. However, although a little pricey, the food was amazing and we received many compliments throughout the night. Julie, the venue coordinator, is great to work with. On the day of, she does EVERYthing possible to make your day go smoothly.

f it doesn't end up being a perfect sunny day. Luckily we had perfect weather though, bc I really didn't want to have to use it. Working with Julie was great! She was very helpful and quick to respond to my emails. The staff was very helpful and the food was delicious.

Julie was good to work with, but would sometimes not reply to emails for 3-7 days. It is a very busy location, so I wonder if maybe they need two coordinators to handle it? At any rate, the wedding day was perfect and went very smoothly, especially flipping the ceremony site to reception. At the end of the evening, my mother did say that they were very much almost pushing them out and they threw away some decorations (including a caramel apple favor) that my Mom was trying to save to take home. They boxed up leftover food to send home with my sister and there were tons of leftovers! Excellent food, excellent location. Julie also worked with us on the cost of catering and menu options.
