I phone interviewed A LOT of other photographers in the area before making a decision, but he stood out to us - not only because of his undeniable talent but also because of his heart and how he left me feeling calm and trusting. And boy, did we make the right choice! Communication: He did an excellent job communicating with us beforehand through calls and texts, ensuring our photos represented our vision and authentic expression to the best of his ability. Wedding Weekend: On the weekend of our event, he went ABOVE and BEYOND to capture special moments - even coming the day before to get shots of us in nature at the creek, something that was unplanned but PERFECT! With Kris, we never felt like we were posing or awkward (which I tend to feel when getting my picture taken). He didn't have time constraints like most other photographers have, which allowed us to feel at ease instead of packing everything into a short timeframe. He was available for as long as we needed (no extra cost) - something that is rare to find. On the wedding day, unless for specific shots, we barely noticed he was there - working his magic nearby to provide us with authentic and beautiful pictures (and videos) of our most favorite day yet. And he was available to my spontaneous grabs for shots with my loved ones throughout the night. I can't count how many times I tearfully hugged him, expressing my gratitude for his energy and involvement in our wedding. He made a potentially stressful day so calm and remarkable. Our guests and parents even offered compliments regarding his calming energy and presence. Finished Photos/Reels: GAH! Firstly, he was so quick (like 2 days quick) in providing us our sneak peek pictures. And let's be honest - as a Bride, we are counting down the days until we get to see them and share them. He even included amazing reels (and drone footage) of the day that I could repost and share with my loved others who couldn't be there. His edits were more than I could have imagined and hoped for. Some with warmth and others cinematic - perfectly fitting the day and evening of our garden wedding. All having a wonderful combination of creativity and depth. All my friends and family are talking about how great the final product is and how perfectly "us" they are. He was communicative about my desires for the edits afterwards, checking in with me every step of the way. I could go on and on, but if you are on the fence about booking a photographer, let this be your sign to book Kris. I promise you won't regret it. 15/10 recommend. We may even have him out to California for our one year anniversary!

His talent is undeniable as you can see in his gallery, but I was especially impressed with all of the unique shots he did without us even asking (long exposures, drone shots, etc). I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw that he already had a sneak peek gallery available for our viewing the morning after our wedding.. The images are absolutely stunning. I literally could not come up with a single thing I would have hoped for differently for our wedding photography. Kris was extremely creative with the pictures he came up with for us and those are our favorites! I also asked for special pictures just for me and my husband. They were exactly what we wanted and love them! He communicated with us quickly and often! Which was important to us with it being a destination wedding. From before the wedding to getting our pictures back, he was always in communication with us! We received our pictures extremely fast even with all the holidays after our Thanksgiving wedding. When I messaged Kris, he immediately replied that he would love to help. From then on communication was so easy. He gave us advice on the best times for the ceremony to get the best pictures. He came early and stayed late! The pictures were AMAZING and the cost was very doable! We couldn't stop looking at them!
