edding process. Her photos are so bright and full of joy, which really embodied her and us. When we met her for the first time, we knew immediately that we wanted to book her as our photographer. She made us feel so special, and she has such a calm energy that makes you feel like you've been friends for years. My fiance was camera shy, but we had so much fun at our engagement shoot, and it really settled our nerves for our wedding day with being in front of the camera! She really helped me plan out our day, and knew everything that I didn't even know I needed. I knew I was in good hands going into our big day. On the day of our wedding, she was so fun, and able to really take the lead on making sure we were where we needed to be, and she was down to do all the fun requests we had, like a little joy ride on a boat! She executed all of our "must-have" photos without question, and it made me sad when she finally had to leave for the evening, after being there for EVERY big moment of the whole day. I cried when I got our sneak peeks, and even more when we got our photos-ahead of schedule! She really snuck every photo possible- for example, when I was walking down the aisle, she got every reaction on my and my husbands faces, along with my mom, our wedding party, guests, officiant, and it was all in perfect quality. It's a good problem to have when you can't pick out your favorite pictures because they are all so stunning. Krista is so thoughtful, intentional, and kind. I am so grateful for all of our vendors, and Krista really was the perfect person we could have had for our day. 100% will recommend her, always!!! We love you!

We received sneak peaks the week after our wedding and our full gallery within the next six weeks. Shortly after receiving our online gallery, a small package arrived in the mail with all of our images on a flash drive, nearly fifty printed pictures from our wedding day, a locket, and a ring dish made by Krista - it was such a sweet touch and made us look forward to selecting our favorites for print – the photos are even more beautiful on the page! Krista’s personality matches the qualities that are highlighted in her photos – bright, warm, organized, and genuine – making it an easy choice for us to have her as our wedding photographer and a choice we would happily make again. She is highly organized, excellent with people, and incredibly talented at capturing the best moments of your day – we could not recommend her enough.

From day 1, she has always listened to our vision for our photos for the wedding, she is incredibly professional but also so incredibly approachable. She is very flexible, working with us the night before to find a new place for our engagement session given rain was anticipated the next day, but also advocates for herself in terms of what she does and does not do as part of her packages, for which we greatly appreciated the transparency. For those who have never done any professional photos, she gave us plenty of ques on how to pose, mixing in staged photos and spontaneous ones. On Wedding Day, my family was, for the most part, non-English speaking, and she, in the kindest way possible, took command and helped my family get organized and get the photos they wanted despite the language barrier. Her communication is incredible - despite her very busy schedule she ALWAYS responded so quickly to all our questions and emails (heck, we were the ones that took days to reply at times, not her), something that was greatly appreciated especially as the big day got closer and closer. She books the entire day and weekend for you, and we never felt rushed during our engagement session, in-person meetings with her (even though we ran well past dinner time she never complained haha), and especially during our Wedding day. Her bright, colorful, timeless style of photography is exactly what we were looking for and we cannot thank her enough for an amazing experience. - A & L

Krista is flexible with the dates and times for meetups which is extremely helpful with busy schedules. She is quick to respond when asking any questions and you can tell she knows what she is doing. During the wedding day, she was professional but made everything so fun. She knew how to lead the crowd but not be overwhelming. We still get comments from the wedding party about how great she was! Working with people: We weren't used to having all these pictures taken of us at first, and we felt a bit awkward... Krista was great at getting us comfortable and then capturing us at our best. Another thing I didn't appreciate until the wedding itself was Krista's ability to get large group pictures organized. She was the perfect balance of friendly but assertive, e.g. successfully getting the larger family groups together during the reception without interrupting the flow of the wedding. Conclusion: we can't recommend Krista enough. You'd be hard-pressed to find a better photographer for your wedding.

Our thirty minute consultation became a nearly two hour chat, and we were left with no doubt who we wanted to capture our engagement and wedding photos. From tackling the daunting task of making our engagement session feel intimate at a place as busy as the State Fair, to the hectic ping-ponging between bridal and groom’s suite the morning of our wedding, we never saw Krista break a sweat! (A big plus because most photographers only offer a set amount of hours and charge extra for more.) Not only is she an amazingly talented photographer, but she is also great at managing people and time. On our wedding day, we were running practically two hours behind schedule, and Krista helped keep me calm and assured me we would get all of the pictures we needed taken- she was right! She wrangled and managed our somewhat rowdy bridal party even while wearing a face mask! She is extremely professional, and kept notes of all of our picture asks and family dynamics for the day of. Her photography skills and talent behind the camera helped make for some amazingly gorgeous pictures at our wedding (definitely recommend doing sunset photos!) We received so so so many compliments from friends and family not only because our pictures were absolutely stunning, but also for Krista managing our photo schedule and bridal party the day of- she's an absolute rock star!!
