our "creative consultant" to do all the paper needs of the wedding and help drive the overall style and creative vision of the event and her work was spectacular. I gave her our theme and colors and she ran with it, starting with our save the dates, hand designing the look from painted watercolor flowers and addressing each gorgeous purple envelope (at least 25% of the guests displayed not only the save the date, but also the envelope on their fridge or mantel beacuse they were so pretty). She hand designed our wedding invitation suite and hand painted water color flowers on each and every envelope (inside and out!!) in addition to addressing them. I cant count how many invitees told me they almost couldnt bear to open the envelope because it was too pretty to be destroyed! She created our menus and programs as well that were gorgeous and perfectly matched the style she had helped cultivate for the wedding. Out of all these gorgeous things, my most favorite were probably the place cards. Kristara used colored agate slices as the place card, writing each guests name across a gorgeous vibrant geode. It was so beautiful and unique and many of our guests have them displayed at home now! On top of her fantastic work and sheer talent, she is a dream to work with. I live in Baltimore and was getting married in Pittsburgh and was able to work easily with Kristara in Houston for the duration of the planning (not to mention the fact she was pregnant and on maternity leave for a solid portion of my wedding planning, you never would have known!). She is responsive, knowledgeable and truly invested in helping making your day the best it can be, with the minimal amount of stress to you as possible. I had 5 bride to be's at my wedding and each and every one asked for her contact information, I'd book her now before she fills up if I were you!!
