Kristen Bowen Photography

erfectly executed. She was incredibly organized and always on top of things. She brought up topics that I wouldn't have otherwise thought of, and always provided a helpful opinion when warranted. Our engagement photos were cold, rainy, and windy, but she managed to still get some great photos and make the most out of it! For the wedding day, we decided to go the more traditional route and not to do a first look. Although this put things on a tighter timeline, we were still able to get all of the photos we wanted - even with some time to spare. She helped plan our day and provided examples of how the event could flow. The photos themselves came back to us even faster than expected and turned out beautiful. Between Kristen and the second shooter, not a moment was missed. They are everything that was promised--elegant, timeless, and most importantly, they tell a story. We will cherish them for years to come!

y already laid out for me and we worked together to make some tweaks. We had several meetings, and she really listened and captured everything I wanted! When you use Kristen you get amazing high quality beautiful photos and you get her expert advice during your planning process.

fun yet also still able to manage the chaos of a wedding with a large family

ly captured our day perfectly! Kristen helped to make our wedding an absolute dream! Her expertise in planning and executing a wedding day made everything feel so smooth and natural. Our day was captured perfectly without anything feeling staged or forced. We were able to fully enjoy and soak in every minute while feeling confident that Kristen and her team would get all of the right shots. On top of that, she is such an encouraging and joyful person to have around. We could not recommend her more!

e yet assertive to keep things moving. She allowed extra time to be taken when important (such as our first look) but was able to keep family and friends focused when needed. She was always so positive and shared the calm I needed when I got overwhelmed. She was able to blend into the background but still captured every last detail.. I've had friends or family members in the past say they wished their wedding photographer had captured certain photos that they forgot, but there is nothing I can possibly think of that was missed. Kristen was organized and had a good flow while making sure every combination was covered. I truly believe that all of her communication, tips, and reminders leading up to our wedding day set us up for success. She was much more than just a photographer! Since she’s seen it all, she was able to prepare us for what to do, what not to do, what to expect, and a typical wedding day from start to finish. My new husband and I have looked through all of our photos several times with different family and friends and every time we hear the oohs and ahhs we catch ourselves saying "Oh just wait for the next one!" There are just so many amazing shots that I don't know how we're going to choose which ones to print and frame. Past our own appreciation, we received so many compliments from friends and family. They were very impressed with how efficient Kristen was and how many shots she was able to capture. She was able to make everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera. She even had a wedding surprise for us and showed us 14 photos she had already edited during dinner. It was wonderful to have these sneak peek photos so quickly and made us really excited to see the rest. We also can't believe how she sent us so many photos (nearly 800) less than a month after our wedding day! This was a much quicker turnaround than we were expecting and we loved being able to look through all of them right after we returned from our honeymoon. Her 2nd shooter was fabulous as well, and they both worked well with our videographer. Kristen made things so light hearted and fun, calling the 3 of them our “media mob.” Her photos are timeless, elegant, and capture the joy perfectly. If you want an amazing photographer, look no further than Kristen!

k with. She got us sneak peek photos from the portrait sessions during dinner the same day, and more the next day! She arrived before her contracted time, and stayed a couple minutes after to make sure all the shots we wanted were gotten. We were ahead of schedule in the middle of the day, and she used that time to get us our perfect riverside shots, even though she'd scouted out another area. Her 2nd was also fantastic! She worked really well with our videographer, as well. My bridal portraits are to die for!!! 10/10, cannot recommend more. She's the bomb diggity, hire her right now!

m our first meeting with Kristen, we knew we couldn't ask for a better photographer for our wedding and we couldn't have been happier with our choice! I love all of our pictures and cannot recommend Kristen enough!

and made us feel so comfortable. And she literally can’t take a bad photo! I loved that Kristen continued to reach out to us throughout our engagement to follow up on timeline details, I felt like she was really invested in our wedding. She helped me stay on track! Every bride worries about their wedding day and what will go wrong, but never once did I worry about the photos. I knew Kristen would be well prepared. She arrived earlier than her contracted time and we never ran behind on photos. She did an amazing job keeping the bridal party and family focused so we could get everything we needed quickly. A few weeks prior to the wedding I gave Kristen a few inspiration shots of the venue and of my dress, she printed these out and made sure I got those shots! My husband and I love our wedding photos, the portraits are so dreamy and we love that we got film photos as well. We are going to need so many frames!

king about different ideas I was interested in and made you feel like you knew her for years. The level of comfort and care she gives to her clients is something you want from any vendor. You can't go wrong working with Kristen <3

n had excellent advice. She had my fiancé excited to take pictures, which is an absolute miracle! During our engagement session, she made us feel comfortable and it wasn't an awkward photo session at all. Throughout the planning period of our wedding, she would send emails with questioners to help the wedding day flow as easy as possible. She stayed in touch with the wedding planner to make sure everyone was on the same page. From the second Kristen showed up for the wedding, she was in photographer mode. Kristen and her second photographer went above and beyond to ensure that my fiancé and I had everything we needed. They made sure all of the photos we wanted were taken and even added their own visions to create the most amazing pictures. They found the best spots on the golf course that created some of the prettiest pictures. At the reception, they went on to work on the pictures they took to create a slideshow of preview pictures from our day. Of course they were incredible! It only took Kristen 2 or 3 weeks to get all of our pictures back and they were more than Tanner and I ever could have asked for.

ed many questions, acted as a friend and confidant, and so much more! On the day of the wedding Kristen and her second photographer were thorough but efficient in capturing the details of our special day. I had envisioned a soft and romantic wedding day, and Kristen perfectly captured this in our photos. We are so glad that we chose to work with Kristen!

was so fun to work together to come up with some outside-the-box engagement photos! For my wedding, I wanted a traditional, timeless look without trendy filters and she delivered with those as well. We had horrible weather both sessions, but you can never tell by looking at those photos! Kristen is not only skilled at her job as a photographer, but she's SO FUN to work with. She's energetic, funny, bubbly and so passionate about her craft. She's also very professional and dependable, which is also important when hiring a wedding photographer. We look forward to working with her again sometime in the future!

be great to work with. She is very prompt in her responses, organized, and very detailed. She also delivered our photo gallery in a very quick turnaround for our wedding and engagement photos which I really appreciated, which both also included sneak peek photos 24 hours after. She also gives you advice on wedding planning in general, especially with your timeline which was a great bonus. I definitely recommend working with Kristen for your wedding!

el so comfortable and they turned out gorgeous. Her communication all throughout the process was great and her information and guides are very professional. Our wedding day was spectacular and our families and friends mentioned how great it was taking pictures with her. My husband and I highly recommend her!

y. She got all of our photos (over 1000, by the way) back to us within a week and a half of our wedding. She made the day feel like a dream and captured posed and candid pictures perfectly. It truly felt like a magazine shoot, and the pictures are phenomenal! My family and friends can't stop commenting on how beautiful they are. Highly recommend her to everyone!

wedding day, will you? So she is right person to work with you. Being with her, you would be soaked in laughters on your day. She is a total pro. You will be in good hands. Second of all, I couldn’t begin to talk about how amazing our wedding photos turn out to be. She is all for elegant romantic style. And that’s what I want for my wedding. I wanted female photographers when I was choosing my team because they know how to capture your best angles. Some photographers will be too focusing on artistic angles instead of which angles will make the couple look good. Third of all, so easy to work with. I am a very detailed and organized bride and I give a lot of ideas and Kristen really remembers the ideas and really focusing on how to make us feel happy. She covers all the details and more. She is very professional and her photos are simply beautiful! You won’t regret of having her in your team!

ou enjoy being with all day long and Kristen is nothing short of enjoyable! I highly recommend Kristen to capture your next special moment - you'll have beautiful pictures to remember it by!

in front of the camera, blending a bubbly personality with great direction. She felt like a friend early on, taking on roles as bridesmaid, coordinator, cheerleader, and emotional support in addition to photographer throughout our wedding day. To top it all off, she surprised us with sneak peeks before we even finished dinner. We had all our wedding photos in less than a month, and they turned out amazing. Her bright photos captured the love and joy in our day. We couldn’t be happier with our decision to have Kristen as our photographer!

ak peaks of our wedding photos within a week after our wedding. She is excellent at capturing candid, special moments, as well as coordinating large families for group photos. Overall, she takes absolutely stunning photographs. Most importantly, she is an incredibly warm-hearted individual who truly loves what she does! I couldn't recommend her more.

stantly fell in love. When we met to do our engagement photos, I was so refreshed by her upbeat personality - she didn’t over-pose us and was beyond easy to get along with. She captured mine and my fiancé’s relationship so perfectly it made several family members emotional. I’m counting down the days until my wedding to get to work with her again - she does the most amazing work and I could not recommend her more highly!

rsonality made the day go so smoothly. She really helped make our wedding day perfect. I was nervous when I began looking for a photographer because I knew how important it was to find the right now, but after my first phone call with Kristen I knew that she was the perfect person to capture our wedding day! You will not be disappointed with her work, her joy, or her ability to capture such an important day!

phy I'd seen, I was sold on her style, ability to capture cute moments throughout the day, and her portrait posing. We're thrilled with the way our photos turned out, and we've received many compliments from family and friends who are highly impressed with our wedding photos as well. Kirsten was so personable and professional throughout the entire process, from the very initial stages of booking her, to delivering our photos weeks after the wedding. I highly recommend her!

you feel relaxed and comfortable. At the wedding she knows how to get the photos you want to see, but also when the couple needs a minute. Even at the end of the night, before she is done, Kristen comes to double check that there aren't any other pictures you wanted before she is done. Kristen is wonderfully organized and works with you to make the photography schedule work into your timeline for the day. There was never any doubt in my mind that she had everything taken care of for our pictures. We got some amazing moments captured for us to cherish forever.

was very prompt in getting our pictures to us and made ordering so easy. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants beautiful pictures AND an amazing photographer to be around.

re leaving. She was able to capture all the different positions and photos we wanted without any issue. She was so sweet and had a great personality, which made the day even more fun. We could not have asked for a better photographer!! <3
