I am so thrilled we used Kristen for our wedding photography and even happier we get to have her shoot two days for us! She was wonderfully flexible with our many (many) COVID-driv...
en wedding changes, and had the same go-with-the-flow attitude during our tiny wedding day. We are having her back for a few more hours next year for our bigger wedding reception.
Kristen is very organized and reached out a few weeks ahead of time to finalize our schedule and then week of to confirm. So - I never felt like I needed to worry about her / confirm the game plan. She made it super easy and low-stress on the bride/groom. Our wedding guest list shrank from 250 to 13, so having kind (and enthusiastic) day-of vendors was important because it was a very intimate day.
Kristen's photos are classic and timeless. We found her through friends who had her shoot their wedding and had such gorgeous photos. Our gallery includes a perfect amount of traditional pictures and candids of our day, as well as some unique / more "artistic" shots that we think are just amazing. We love the photos and believe she captured the joy of our day in such a beautiful way. We can't wait to have her back next year for our bigger celebration!
Kristen was absolutely wonderful to work with throughout the whole process of our engagement and wedding! She helped us feel prepared for and comfortable during our engagement shoo...
t, where we so enjoyed getting to know her and got some beautiful photos! When it came to planning for the wedding day, she was so organized and easy to work with that we had total confidence that things would go smoothly no matter what. And our impressions were proven to be totally true, when we had to significantly change our plans. Kristen was understanding, flexible, and helpful in the replanning process, which gave us so much peace of mind during a very stressful time. When our wedding day did come, she helped make sure all of our new plans went smoothly, and helped my husband and me transition from stressing about the details to enjoying our wedding day. And importantly, she captured the moments of our wedding day beautifully! We and our friends and families are so impressed with our photos and totally in love with them! We were also very pleasantly surprised with how quickly Kristen got our wedding photos to us! She is an absolute pleasure to work with, so professional, so supportive, and captured our memories in stunning photos. We are so glad we had the chance to work with Kristen!
Kristen is hands-down the best photographer we could've asked for for our wedding! I came across her page and immediately fell in love with her blog photos. They were classy, timel...
ess, elegant, and SO beautiful! After our first meeting and engagement photo session, we knew she was a perfect fit; it felt like we had already known her not just as our photographer but as our friend! She is so sweet, thoughtful, responsive in emails, organized, and professional.
The week before our wedding, she suggested meeting one last time to make sure all of the details were finalized for our timeline for the day. I can't thank her enough for taking this time – especially during the busiest time of summer weddings – to sit down and review our entire wedding day timeline, locations, and portraits.
When it came to our wedding day, everything was an absolute dream! Kristen and her second photographer were so organized, excellent in communication, efficient, and fun! Taking photos with both Kristen and her second photographer felt natural and comfortable – not staged or posed like other photographer styles we’ve seen. She captured our entire day so perfectly and we truly couldn’t be happier with our wedding photos! They are absolutely beautiful and we know we’ll treasure them for all the years to come!!
Kristyn was fun and easy to work with. She captured all the special little things on our wedding day which we may have otherwise missed. Her pictures are magical and they will ke...
ep our memories safe for years to come! You cannot go wrong saying YES to her as your photographer!

Kristen was absolutely amazing to work with! I cannot say enough positive things about our experience. My husband and I are not the most comfortable in front of the camera, but Kri...
sten somehow managed to put us both at ease the entire day of our wedding. She made sure we knew we could stop taking pictures whenever we wanted to if it became too much, could take breaks whenever we wanted to, and would talk to us normally as she was taking the pictures to put us at ease- so we truly were comfortable and didn't need any breaks at all!
On top of that, she is VERY organized and did her homework. She checked out all of the areas we wanted to take pictures to find the perfect spots/make sure they would work, and helped to organize our wedding day timeline by providing her suggested timeline to allow for enough time for pictures without rushing everyone. She specifically identified when each person was needed, so family members and wedding party members all knew where they had to be and at what time so everything would run smoothly! She gave us great direction the entire time- none of intrinsically knew how to pose or what would work for pictures, and she was excellent at letting us all know what to do.
She also was awesome before/after the actual wedding! We had a meeting with her soon after we decided to go with her where she interviewed my husband and I to get an idea of who we were and what our style was. She sent us a packet months before our wedding to give us an idea of what to expect on the actual day, and started going over timeline a month or so out. She had our picture preview done not even a full week after our wedding which was AMAZING to see- and had our FULL gallery of pictures ready just 2.5 weeks after our wedding! She also sent us a sweet note, flash drive (in addition to our online full gallery we can download/order from), and quite a few prints as a thank you and final note which was SO sweet to do. We absolutely LOVE the pictures- they are beautiful and we have so many to choose from.
I truly cannot recommend her enough!!!!
After looking through Kristen's photos online, we knew that she was going to be great. With that being said, Kristen went above and beyond to capture our special day. Kristen too...
k all of the requests that we had and fulfilled them. As we continued to watch the weather over the day, she was able to stick to the schedule that we created to get all photographs in before the rain. Not only were the pictures more than what we ever could have asked for, her easy going personality, organization, and friendliness made the day flow so smoothly. Kristen is SO good with kids! She was able to help with the ring bearer, who was not wanting to take pictures at the time, and even let him help take a couple pictures. SO sweet!
Leading up to the wedding, she was always willing to answer questions and responded in a very timely manner. She was more like a wedding planner for the both of us and created a schedule of the events months before the wedding. We only continued to be more impressed after the wedding when Kristen posted a sneak peek the night of our special day. We were so excited to come home to look at a picture we loved. Not only did she post a picture the night of our wedding, but we received her favorites and were on the blog within two days! Most of my friends had to wait months to see a preview of their wedding pictures. Just two short weeks after the wedding, we received all 850 images on a flash drive and an online gallery, organized to the events of the day.
We strongly recommend Kristen Dyer to photograph your special day. You will not be disappointed. We love our pictures and will be contacting Kristen again in the future!
