e knew. We made sure to do our homework and looked at a ton of different photographers, but her hearts always came back to the way her photos made us feel! Neither of us had ever done a photoshoot before, and were really awkward in front of the camera. During our engagement shoot, she made us feel comfortable and reminded us that it wasn’t about creating a perfect photo, but a perfect moment. Those moments created our favorite photos! When it came to the day of our wedding, the questions she asked were thorough and she really listened to what we wanted. She was professional and our vendors loved working with her as well. The turnaround time on getting our photos back was INCREDIBLE for both our engagement photos and wedding albums and we’re so so happy with them!! personalities was extremely important to us, and Kristen did just that. We did our engagement photos, wedding photos, and I even did a boudoir shoot (completely out of my element). Kristen made us feel so comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera, our photos are so natural and beautiful. y realized that I kept coming back to Kristen! Her work was stunning and I HAD to be one of her brides. When I finally decided to message her, we met up for lunch and I just knew I did not want anyone else to photograph our wedding. She also made an exception for me and let me book further in advance than normal. She made our engagement photos feel so easy and comfortable and the photos she took were gorgeous! If you are trying to decide on if you should book with Kristen, DO IT!! Don't think twice!!! She and her husband, her second shooter for the day, took so many photos and made everyone feel so comfortable with getting their photos taken. I am so excited to get our wedding photos and photo album back that I can hardly stand it! Booking Kristen as our photographer was easily one of the top 3 best wedding decisions that I made and I would make the same choice if I had to do it over again!

season of October weddings. I stumbled upon her Instagram and fell instantly in love with her style and ability to capture intimate moments, details, and people in such a candid and authentic way! Nothing seemed overly posed or cheesy; everyone just looked comfortable and in love. On top of all that talent, she's so incredibly kind, flexible and down to earth! She accommodated our cultural Cambodian ceremony along with our American ceremony at another venue. There were chaotic family members everywhere, and we know Asian elders don't always have the best tact and give it to you straight. She handled everything with grace, a smile, and a deep breath. She was so go with the flow, while guiding us as needed for our shots and making sure we had room in our schedule for it. I felt comfortable in front of the camera and sometimes forgot she was even there. Also, I love a photographer who's not afraid to bust a move! - Queue "Copperhead Road." You will not regret hiring her!

dured the Texas summer heat in the middle of July with us to take our engagement photos at McKinney park, though we thought we looked a hot mess dying in the heat and dripping in sweat she made magic happen. The wedding day, she was an extra calming voice to remind me to relax and helped me get through a wedding of 400 people. She was attentive and has a great a great eye. I’m so glad I was able to have her with me during my wedding process because now I have photos that I can proudly cherish forever.

hours of submitting an application, Kristen sent over a few documents to get to know my husband and I better both as individuals and as a couple which was a nice surprise to us because it showed that photography is much more than a job to Kristen. We first met Kristen for our engagement shoot in downtown Houston but didn’t have a ton of ideas for shots or how we’d look best and my husband and I had never had pictures taken together. We knew we’d need direction and encouragement and Kristen absolutely killed it. She immediately put us at ease, made the shoot fun and offered tons of suggestions and ideas. The session honestly felt like we were all hanging out as friends snapping a picture here and there but the outcome was incredible. Our photos were so natural and Kristen did such an amazing job at capturing our personalities. I’d had such a good time shooting and meeting Kristen that I decided I wanted to put together a boudoir book for my husband as a wedding gift. Kristen offered photo ideas weeks before the shoot and even took care of locating and booking a studio. I was a bit nervous as I’d never done a shoot like this but again Kristen immediately put me at ease. She greeted me at the studio with mimosas and we put together a game plan. Throughout the shoot she played a badass boudoir playlist and provided tons of ideas. Up until that shoot, I don’t know that I’ve ever felt so empowered. The photos blew me away—I couldn’t believe the woman in them was me! A boudoir shoot with Kristen is an absolute MUST! On our wedding day Kristen captured every element you could imagine including getting ready, details shots, dinner, speeches, guests enjoying themselves and our send off—my husband and I had such a blast going through every photo when we got them back because we weren’t able to experience every moment with every guest throughout our wedding day. The turn around time on our photos was also impeccable. Kristen had our photos edited and back to us weeks before the contract stated they’d be in and they were more than we could have imagined. Kristen even went above and beyond and had one of our favorite photos turned into a Christmas ornament and surprised us with it. From the photos themselves to each interaction, Kristen puts such thought and kindness into everything. It’s nearly impossible to meet someone like Kristen in your lifetime so we’re especially grateful that we got to work with her on a number of shoots. She’s someone who makes you feel more like yourself—someone who you didn’t really know you were every meant to meet, but upon meeting her it clicks and makes sense. I feel like a better person having met and worked with Kristen. I couldn’t have imagined working with any other photographer for our wedding shoots nor could I imagine working with anyone else in the future. If you have the opportunity to work with Kristen to not hesitate! You will have won the photographer lottery!

ur interaction Kristen asked all the right questions and I felt like she really understood what we wanted. She made planning our wedding from far away incredibly easy. During our wedding she was calming and got all of the shots we wanted and more. She is someone I would want to hang out with after the wedding. She perfectly documented our wedding and we love our photos! We also had an incredibly quick turn around time of getting our photos compared to a lot of my friends who has used different photographers. Kristen is so talented and a dream to work with!

sly, she’s a very gifted photographer. But what those photographs are unable to say is just how kind, caring, and personable Kristen is. I don’t know how she does it, but she is able to connect in such a personal way, in such a short amount of time with her bride and groom, what you see with the end product is the most beautiful love story between two people captured in photos. Moments you didn’t even realize existed until you breathtakingly stumble through your portrait gallery. That’s exactly what it’s like...breathtaking. So many precious memories forever etched in time. Kristen did a beautiful job and I cannot be more grateful to know she’ll always be a part of James and Lauren’s special and sacred day.

But Leah was great, she said that her close friend Kristen would be happy to take over if I was interested in her style. I looked her up, and I was Thrilled! I loved her style, and the way she is able to capture such personality in her shots. Then when meeting her, it was like reconnecting with a long lost friend, so easy and fun. My Husband and I aren't the most comfortable in front of a camera, but because of her laid back attitude, sense of adventure(rebel) and love of beer, we were goofing off and acting silly as if we were out with our friends. And in the end, thats what we became, friends. I have had Kristen shoot our engagements (with our pet bird), A mothers/daughter baking day and our wedding. For each shoot she was very communicative before hand, meeting with me to check out locations, calming my nerves about the weather, or my bad hair cut. Her attention to details, planning out the timeline/shotlist, and working out the logistics was monumental in making things run smoothly, and insuring we captured all the moments we wanted. Then there are the pictures, SWOOON! I love my pictures! Which she was able to edit and return to me in under two months! I have had so many of my friends and family comment how perfect they are, and how she really captured the essence of the party. In the end, Kristen was a BLESSING, and a DELIGHT to work with. I look forward to having her capture many more of our future adventures.

The engagement photos turned out wonderfully and it only made me more confident in our decision to book her. Leading up to our wedding day, Kristen was so responsive to every email I sent her - always answering within the day, and more often within an hour or so! She was super helpful not only with photography questions, but also just with overall timing of the day and helping in any way she could. On our wedding day, Kristen arrived as expected and immediately starting taking photos. She captured every aspect of our day, from details to portraits, to our dance party! We got our full gallery back last week and I truly felt that I was reliving our day as I looked through them. Kristen did an amazing job of not only taking pictures, but truly capturing the emotion of our big day. I genuinely hope I have the opportunity to work with Kristen again in the future, and I can not recommend her enough!

From start to end, Kristen was incredible, from the engagement session to the end of the wedding. She was thoughtful, thorough, she was willing to go along with our zany, last minute requests and was flexible to any situation that happened throughout our wedding day. Kristen made both my fiance (now husband!) feel comfortable throughout the engagement session, and when it came to the wedding day, she helped sort through the schedule, and stay on time. Her and her team stay organized and were practically invisible during the ceremony. And after, during the family and group pictures, she was timely, and snapped one of everyone I wanted. And the photos!! I truly cannot say enough about the photos. They were EVERYTHING I had dreamed of and more. She was timely on delivery and when I saw them, it was like I was reliving the day all over again. She captured the joy, the mood, every breeze and small moment that felt like it happened in the blink of an eye. Now, I’m so glad I can cherish these forever.

On our day, Kristen and her team were like ninjas -- I hardly noticed them snapping away all our intimate moments because they are such documentarians! They were able to really integrate themselves in the wedding to get the most special photos of us. When it came to the more "posed" photos of the bridal party/first looks, she made us feel so comfortable and at ease with the awkwardness that comes with taking photos. We've only seen the sneak peek, but are photos are coming in a timely manner, and I can already see her beautiful style come through in the photos we do have! Thank you for everything, Kristen!!

f Kristen's photography is her ability to capture the natural, un-staged moments: the kiss you steal during the craziness of the day, the smile you flash during your vows. Kristen is there to snap it all. My husband, a less than enthusiastic picture taker, continuously credited Kristen with making him feel at ease. He actually enjoyed our sessions together, as Kristen was able to make us laugh and relax! Truly, Kristen is an incredible photographer and an even more incredible person!

th all the photos Kristen got. Our engagement session was probably our favorite but we loved them all. She is very laid back, extremely responsive and easy to work with. Some of my favorite photos where the ones when she asked us to do different things and/or captured a moment instead of a pose. When researching photographers, I saw a lot of the lighter exposure look (which is beautiful) but I personally like the darker, artistic and intimate look and Kristen did just that! She was one of our favorite vendors and we loved having her around on our special day. 14/10 would recommend.

n particular is that you did not even really realize they were there which is so nice I was able to enjoy my wedding without feeling like I had to constantly pose for photos. It all felt like a dream.

I had the best time with Kristen when she took my bridals and boudoir pictures, she is so professional and never once did I feel uncomfortable. I am 110% happy with ALL of the photos she took.
