About this vendor
Kristen's Cottage is a Thornton, CO-based company that provides quality custom cakes, cupcakes, and sugar cookies for your wedding celebration. I love working with couples to create a cake that is as special and unique as they are to share with their family and friends on their special day!
I've been baking and decorating cakes for 11 years, and got my first taste of the wedding cake business after my sister asked me to create a cake for her special day. With my company Kristen's Cottage, I work to give every couple the deliciously designed cake they're looking for. Whether you are looking for a traditional tiered cake or an assortment of cupcakes with a cutting cake for pictures (or anything in between!), I believe your wedding cake should be a reflection of you, the happy couple.
I offer consultations and private tastings to help you decide on the flavor combination you want. My custom wedding cake designs can range from simple elegance to colorful and whimsical. Send me a message, and let's get started making your big day a dream come true!

t, we LOVED the way Kristen's raspberry spread was, and asked if we could use it as a filling- Kristen was so willing to go above and beyond, and do it for us, and they turned out perfect. When I asked for specific things, Kristen steered me in an even better direction, making my wedding day (and cakes, of course!) absolutely perfect. I could not have asked for a better place to have my cake from than Kristens Cottage. I am forever grateful to you, thank you for all you did to make my day perfect!

. I came across Kristen’s Cottage and reached out to her to set up a cake testing. We flew out for a visit and met with Kristen. Her cakes were amazing and her frosting was to die for. She was so accommodating and listened to my son and daughter in law’s creative flavor ideas for their cakes. Kristen came through not only with her delicious cakes but included a setup that added to the beautiful venue. They chose a s’more cake as their wedding cake and had classic vanilla cupcakes with chocolate frosting, s’more cupcakes, French toast cupcakes with vanilla frosting and maple syrup drizzle and cookies and cream cupcakes topped with a mini Oreo. Our guests could not stop raving about them. I highly recommend Kristen’s Cottage to anyone planning an event. Her professionalism and bakery skills are phenomenal. Thank you to Kristen for helping my son and daughter in law have the wedding of their dreams!

We will definitely order from Kristen again given our good experience with her for our wedding. Her prices were also very reasonable. We highly, highly recommend!!

's a red velvet guy!), and she was happy to take on the challenge of making a new flavor for our final tier! She made delicious buttercream icing, in the most beautiful basket weave pattern, and handmade royal icing lilies (which were the icing on the cake - literally!). It was exactly what I dreamt of!!! I recommend her, 100%, if you are in need of cupcakes or cakes; her attention to detail and the level of professionalism and kindness are unmatched!

sion and Kristen absolutely nailed it. They were also so kind and helpful throughout the process. They took us through and explained our options in language that made sense to us. It was no problem that we asked for several different flavors throughout our three layers, and all were amazing. We had so many compliments on the delicious cake from guests! And they were the best price got during our search!
