I am so so happy that we had Kristin and Aaron photograph our wedding! They did our engagement photos first, and they had us cracking up and having so much fun the whole time. Then on top of how much fun we had, the photos were gorgeous! They photographed our wedding on New Year’s Eve, and again they were just so lovely to have around. They have such a warm energy and make everything feel so easy. We just got the photos back on Wednesday, and we love them!!! I’m just sad they only do weddings because I want them to take all of our family photos forever. You can absolutely trust them with the best day of your life. They will make it even better!

Kristin and Aaron are ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!! They took so many pictures, and captured every moment of Lindsey and Graves' engagement, bridal pictures and the wedding day. We are beyond pleased with the quality of the pictures. They were so easy and wonderful to work with, and definitely know what they are doing. All their direction created wonderful shots. Where do I even begin... Kristin and Aaron are INCREDIBLE!!! My husband and I booked them for both our engagement, bridal, and wedding photos and each time we were absolutely blown away with the results. The two know how to give direction and make you laugh in such a way that makes it borderline impossible to be uncomfortable in front of their camera. Not only are their pictures stunning, we received them quickly after our wedding. Their ability to capture candid moments are amazing, and many of my favorite pictures are ones that I didn't even know were being taken. Kristin will not disappoint!

Kristin and Aaron are AMAZING! They are the kindest, most down to earth souls we have ever met. It was a real treat to have them photograph not 1 both 2 of our weddings. Of course due to the virus we had to cancel our wedding but chose to have a small intimate covid wedding in 2020. First, Kristin was so flexible and truly wanted to make it work for me! She photographed our first wedding of 10 people. She was so caring and supportive during that stressful time. She immediately got started photographing the day. She then stepped in as wedding coordinator and got me down the aisle without a hitch. Fast forward a year it was time for our big celebration. Kristin and Aaron ROCKED it! They captured everything that we wanted and more! They listened to what we wanted on our wedding day but as PROFESSIONALS they gave wonderful suggestions to capture our day. Aarons got jokes and will make any guy giggle! He gets so into it! You can really tell that the Byrums truly love their job! We are beyond thrilled with their work and THEM!

Kristin and Aaron are the best photographers ever! They worked with us as we postponed multiple times, and took photos of every part, even our micro-ceremony!! The photos are gorgeous and captured everything we wanted and more. They knew how to pose everyone and even captured my young nieces easily. After taking photos for my brothers wedding as well, they were the perfect fit.

Working with Kristin and Aaron was literally a dream come true, they photographed my sister’s wedding years ago and they are truly like family. Our wedding was a little unique in the fact that we chose to get married in Ravello, Italy. Kristin and Aaron were there every step of the way, they caught every special moment and event perfectly. Their photography is genuinely “vogue” quality. Our only issue now is that we miss them terribly and we can’t decide which pictures to print because they are all so good! I cannot recommend them enough and am jealous of anyone who gets to go through this special process with them!!

Deciding to work with Kristin & Aaron as our wedding photographers was hands down one of the best decisions we made. In addition to being incredibly talented professionals with a tangible passion for their work and capturing the most important moments in others’ lives, Kristin and Aaron are just absolutely wonderful people. It didn’t take long after our initial meeting with Kristin for my husband and I to agree that we wanted to work with them. Kristin checked in frequently throughout the months leading up to the wedding to see how they could be of assistance and was a great help in talking through everything from day of timeline, to potential locations for our first look and other wedding photos, and keeping tabs on the various things I hoped they would be able to capture over the course of our wedding day. Given that our wedding was in November and we were working with limited daylight for photos, they worked diligently to capture all the pre-wedding getting ready photos, along with a few bridal portraits of me, our first look, and wedding party/immediate family photos prior to our ceremony. Everyone in our families and wedding party loved them as much as we did - and they were also great in working with the 5 little ones in our wedding party! My husband and I are so glad that we entrusted Kristin & Aaron with capturing our wedding day. We received our “sneak peek” gallery last week and our full wedding album this week. The photos turned out so beautifully and are really everything we could have hoped for. I’m amazed at how the way in which Kristin & Aaron captured all our special moments jettison me back to everything I felt that day just by looking through the photos. I would highly recommend Kristin Byrum Photography to any future brides.

Words cannot describe how wonderful Kristin and Aaron were to work with, but I will do my best. My husband and I are not good at getting pictures taken and find ourselves a little awkward in front of the camera. However, Kristin and Aaron made us feel comfortable the whole time during the engagement photo session and took amazing photos! They had the perfect idea for our engagement session, a peach tree orchard. We were a little worried about the timing, because peach trees only bloom for a short amount of time, but Kristin and Aaron timed it perfectly and the trees were a gorgeous setting! They took so many incredible photos and we were blown away! The wedding day…they both were an incredible addition to the entire day. Kristin showed up in the bridal suite and almost immediately started taking photos, she was amazing the entire day. Kristin was also great in calming me down (my nerves were starting to build a little bit at that point) and talking to me to keep my mind at ease. Kristin and Aaron suggested that we do a first-look before the ceremony and my husband and I are incredibly thankful that they did! It was so amazing to get those first-look jitters out of the way and to spend a few moments together with just the two of us. Kristin and Aaron were also able to photograph the entire wedding party and families before the ceremony which allowed us to mingle with our guests during the cocktail hour. My husband also told me Aaron was great in the men’s ready room and put all the guys at ease for the ceremony. The reception – Kristin and Aaron worked magic during the reception, they both took so many amazing photos and made the time to get photos of all our guests! We are so excited to see the photos! You cannot go wrong choosing Kristin and Aaron as your wedding photographers! They were amazing!

Kristin and Aaron were both fantastic. As a couple who doesn’t like getting their pictures taken, they both made us feel so comfortable and produced THE MOST beautiful photos of our wedding. From the moment we chose them, they were so kind and special to work with leaving us with so much confidence to capture the biggest day of our lives. The support they gave us leading up to the wedding left us at ease and on the day of our wedding, provided so much support in the hours leading up to our ceremony to help us stay calm. OUTSTANDING! I cannot put into words how amazing Kristin and Aaron are to work with. We hired Kristin for our wedding, which included an engagement shoot. To be candid, my husband and I were actually quite nervous about the process as we are not particularly comfortable in front of the camera. Kristin and Aaron made every single one of our worries disappear the first time we met them. They are warm, inviting and so easy to work with. Kristin and Aaron were truly a gift from God. We chose them to document our wedding after meeting with them (and several other highly rated photographers in the Charlotte area). Their work speaks for itself as you can see on their well-designed site (we loved that they captured emotions and moments as well as the big stunner shots), but we fell in love with them after sitting with them for drinks and realizing that these two people were the perfect match to spend so much of our special day with us. From that first meeting to selecting the right package for us to our complimentary engagement shoot (that they encourage so you get comfortable with them before the big day...so smart), to our incredible wedding day, Kristin and Aaron were fun, professional, intuitive, so sweet, and just plain really really good at what they do. We loved spending the day with them and our wedding party and family loved them too. THEN we got our photos back (and really quickly) - for both our engagement shoot and the wedding photos, we were brought to tears and blown away. Neither my husband nor I are the type to love pairing for the camera or looking at photos of ourselves, so the gift they gave us of not only hundreds of pictures we LOVE and have framed, but of capturing the story of our day so that we can relive it every time we look at our photos. They are two of the nicest, most talented people you will ever meet...BOOK THEM.

Kristin and Aaron are hands down an amazing husband+wife team that take the most fantastic pictures. Their personality is contagious and you want to be best friends with them forever! My husband told me "wow... they are worth every penny!" after we got our engagement pictures back (completely umprompted, by the way!). I highly recommend the best photographers I know, Kristin and Aaron Byrum. Looking back at my overall wedding experience, I know that they were the best investment that I made. They were incredible to work with. When my husband and I first met Kristin and Aaron, we felt like they were old friends. I met Aaron and Kristin over 7 years ago. I remember always saying that there were a lot of things I wouldn't be picky about for my wedding, but the ONE thing I had always dreamed of was Aaron and Kristin as my photographers! Kristin Byrum photography was top-notch from day 1. They are extremely professional, artistic and just the nicest people to work with. They treat you like family and ensure you have quality, classic, original photos that will stand the test of time.

We found Kristin through a referral of a referral. We looked at her blog and really liked the work and made an appointment to meet with Kristin and Aaron. Aside from being an adorable young husband/wife team themselves, we absolutely loved them and decided to sign up. One thing we really liked was that their service wasn't for a certain amount of hours, i.e. the package pricing wasn't for 6 hours or 8 hours etc. Their package pricing applies no matter how long your wedding is. And being that our wedding day included 2 ceremonies, a lunch, and dinner reception, that was a huge help on cost. We absolutely loved the engagement shots they took and I had full confidence that our wedding shots would be just as good. I haven't seen them yet (except for 1 preview pic posted on facebook which I loved) but on the wedding day, they really took control of a chaotic situation to get the photos after each ceremony done and ON SCHEDULE. They didn't just take a passive role, waiting for the families to get together, they really drove getting the right people in each shot on time. And they were very particular about ensuring each shot would be a good one and making sure that each person was standing in a good spot or that my dress was positioned appropriately or that someone in the shot wasn't holding their own camera etc. They gave really good directions on how to stand in a way that looks good with the bridesmaids and groomsmen photos as well. Very creative. I 500% recommend Kristin & Aaron for all weddings. Truly the best decision and our favorite vendor in our wedding.

Our photographers were a married couple that went to the same university. They work well together and are a lot of fun. They take the shots you want and then mix in whatever they think you'd be willing to enjoy. They have no time limits on their services so you get whatever pictures you want taken the entire day of your wedding.
