I had an amazing experience with Kristin for my fall 2023 wedding! I would highly recommend her for bridal and bridesmaid hair and makeup!
First, she is super responsive via email...
and even had a responder set to let you know her working hours and typical response times (I wish all of my vendors did this!). From the very beginning, she was so positive, organized, and professional. She sent multiple timeline options and talked me through the pros and cons of each, which was super helpful. She ended up finding a 2nd artist (Charlie, who was awesome!) so that we could start a little later and finish sooner.
I had a great time chatting with her in person at my trial and knew that she would be a great fit to have with us getting ready on the day-of. She is so personable and made me feel at-ease. She did an amazing job on my hair and makeup for the trial, and did a great job of explaining what she was doing and why. I truly felt like my hair and makeup was tailored to me, not a cookie cutter bridal look. After the trial, I decided to change a couple of things and she explained how those would impact wear and veil placement so that I knew everything before choosing the final look!
On the day of the wedding, she was there early and got to work right away! She even stayed calm when we accidentally tripped the breaker in the older home the bridal suite was in. She and Charlie made up for the lost time easily because she was so organized with the timeline and built in time for some delays.
My hair and makeup somehow looked even better than the trial and she incorporated all of the changes I asked for! I looked like an elevated version of myself! The hair and makeup lasted all day even though I am a crier and my hair has trouble holding curl. She even gave me a small sample of lip products to touch up, though I barely needed to. I was so happy with the final look! It looked good in person and in photos, which has been a challenge when I have been in other weddings.
Overall, Kristin and Charlie did 4x bridesmaid hair, 1x bridesmaid makeup, and my hair and makeup. Even with all of those services and a delay, the day went smoothly and we were done right on time! They were both so outgoing and chatty, it felt like we had two more friends with us getting ready.
I would highly recommend Kristin for hair and makeup for your big day!

actually was not my first trial but in minutes I knew she would be my last. First off, she's an amazing person that I found I had a lot in common with.
But for the things everyone else is concerned with.. she is very professional. She is affordable. She kept in contact with me for all appointments, contracts (changes to contracts due to reduced wedding party), and the day of. She was even super chill when I had changed my mind about my hairstyle that we had done the trial with.
Let me tell you, I do not wear makeup hardly at all. I showed her pics (Pinterest) and she not only brought the ideas to life.. she made me look great! I am usually a self conscious person but after she did my hair and makeup.. I actually thought I looked beautiful. This is a huge thing for me. That alone would make me hire her again. But, she was also so friendly, hilarious, and dealt fabulously with the mothers of the wedding party. (Also a feat in itself)

All of our bridal party and my Mom also looked so amazing. I haven’t seen my mom as beautiful as she was in a long time. My Dad was smiling on her beauty from heaven! The only thing I would change is that I wish that for my makeup trial we had actually put fake eyelashes on so that I could see how it would look with my makeup. She uses high quality products that stood the tests of many hours of running about, food, drinks and happy tears. no idea what to expect when hiring someone for my wedding - but wow, am I glad I found Kristin. I hired to do wedding hair and makeup + a trial, and the rest of her reviews don't lie: She is an utter professional. Without much guidance from me, she knew exactly what to do to give me a simple, natural, and classic look. She even worked with me to land my trial on the morning of another friend's wedding so I didn't have to let my trial look go to waste. She is incredibly fun and easy to be around, a wonderful communicator, and most importantly, she was gracious, kind, and flexible while our wedding plans kept changing this year due to COVID. Like many couples, we switched gears from a 150-person wedding to an elopement, which involved a date change and a reduction in the size of our contract, and she took it all in stride. To boot, she was somehow able to do my hair and makeup in a way that didn't look out of place on a windy, 3,000-ft mountain peak in Shenandoah. Kristin is also taking COVID precautions very seriously, which is so important when you are spending time indoors and in such close quarters with someone. Lastly, there's no question in my mind that she's just the coolest gal in the business. I basically can't wait until I have another excuse to hire her again. So trust me, and trust all of Kristin's other reviews: If you're looking for a badass makeup artist (and she truly is an artist) to give you a classic and timeless look for your wedding or any other important event, hire her immediately.

e for our wedding, my mind always came back to her. She is a super cool person and can make anyone look like supermodel/princess. My bridesmaids loved their makeup and so did I! We really liked the hair and makeup schedule she sent us to prepare for the day. She also did a great job of being mindful of COVID precautions - she (and Charlie the hairstylist she brought) both wore facemasks and had us fill out a form to make sure we weren't putting them / and they weren't putting us at risk. After lots of Instagram searching, I came across Kristin. Her work seemed incredible, and so I reached out. From our first conversation to set up a trial to the very end of my wedding prep, Kristin was amazing. We instantly hit it off, and I can truly say she is one of the people who made my special day extra memorable. On wedding day, Kristin arrived bright and early to set up, and kept all of us girls laughing the entire day. Something to note: she is incredibly meticulous. From setup to cleanup, there is not a single detail that isn’t well planned. She is incredible!
