We are blown away by all of the images in the gallery and how she truly captures the essence of myself, husband and the love we share. The best part about connecting with Kristin is feeling at ease through the whole process, feeling like we have known each other for decades and the space she creates that allowed us to feel ourselves and let our personalities shine. ographer. She’s a very nice, but her jet lag and exhaustion from her flight she took early that morning really showed to me and my guests. Multiple guests told me how she was yawning and saying how tired she was. I also realized it myself when we were taking family photos, she did not help my family get in position or pictures especially older members who had no idea where to stand. She stood there blankly at me and my husband expecting us to tell them where to go. I had given her a photograph list sheet that said all the photos we wanted to get captured and not half of those were done. She mentioned she looks closely at each photo when editing which is not the case when multiple family members had their eyes closed. I also had photos printed out and from her editing they were blue toned and unable to be used or framed. We have a toddler son and there wasn’t one photo of all of us smiling together at the camera in a portrait shot. Pretty heart breaking! There weren’t photos of the groom and his mother or dad putting on his boutonniere, there was only one blurry photo of my son walking down the aisle as the ring barrier, which makes no sense to me with how fast you can shoot multiple photos. When asked to take out graffiti of gang symbols from some of the pictures since we were getting married in downtown Chicago she told us she doesn’t do that. We also paid for 4 rolls of film which came to a surprise to her after the fact and were told that one of the rolls were “compromised” little hard to believe when she didn’t know we had 4 rolls we paid for.. our photos of film that we were given are pretty brutal to look at and nothing like her normal film work. Shots I requested on the spot were given no more than a few seconds and I wasn’t asked to move a certain way for the shot to be better making them turn out horribly. It’s quite annoying when you are asking for a specific shot you expect your photographer to direct but yet again no direction. I also requested shots and portraits in our wedding ceremony balcony. She snapped a few shots without placing us or moving anything, so the wedding videography crews stuff was in the picture and wasn’t even edited out in the final photos. It was a joke. I also had given her our wedding rings and my engagement rings, she did not take a photo of my engagement ring, which makes no sense not to capture my engagement ring with my husbands wedding band?! Also I specifically asked for shots of our matching wedding bands and the inside of them that were engraved & had our birthstones that were handed down to us by my husbands grandmother. There was nothing, not a single beautiful photo to show her. You could easily tell that she was not connected to our wedding what so ever. It’s truly heart breaking when you spend so much time planning everything on your wedding. Like many couples, my husband and I are not the most comfortable being photographed. ) She truly was one of the best decisions my husband and I made for our wedding, if not the best. Finding a great photographer was a priority and Kristin absolutely exceeded our expectations. We formed a genuine connection and friendship shortly after our first call. There were so many times I reached out (possibly too many) with non-photography questions and each time she gave the best advice. We would even just text randomly maybe a little tipsy off wine just chit chatting about our day or what’s going on in our lives outside of shoots and wedding planning. I loved it. The first time we met in person was the day of our welcome party and it felt like we were back together with a lifelong friend so that right there set the tone for the weekend. We had so much fun together and it felt so natural. She captured real time, raw moments. She gave us creative direction/advice when we needed it but most of the time it felt like we were just being us and prioritizing living in the moment. She allowed us to feel as comfortable as possible, be ourselves and never pushed posing/forced photos. Sometimes we forgot she was there! When I was getting ready I didn’t want my mom or any of my bridesmaids/MOH to see me in my dress yet so Kristin was like my person in those moments. We laughed so hard, and I felt comfortable enough to run around naked finding this and that and just being myself and it just felt like I was getting ready with one of my best friends. I never felt rushed or pressure from her but when it came to keeping everyone else on track, she got it done. If you’re looking for someone who will go above and beyond, someone more than just your wedding photographer, someone who is genuine, caring, authentic, responsive, chill but passionate, she’s your girl. She has the best creative eye, you can see that in any and all of her shoots. Her editorial style is unmatched, her IG is any girls dream Pinterest board. I still remember the day I came across her Instagram and gasped. I knew I had to have her! We’ve looked at our wedding photos nearly every day, with tears in our eyes, we and many others, can’t believe how perfectly she captured so many beautiful moments; big moments, small moments and the moments in between. She captured our love and personalities perfectly. She’s a visionary. We’d hire her over and over again. Truly a dream photographer.

I was discouraged because I kept seeing the same cheesy/staged type of wedding content. I knew right away that my now husband and I had to find & invest in a photographer that would not force us to take uncomfortable, inauthentic pictures that aren’t reflective of our relationship. I remember the exact night I came across Kristin’s work on IG. I saw literally just 1 picture of a wedding that she shot in Italy and within seconds sent her an email hoping, praying(!!!) that she was available for our wedding. Thank God the universe worked in our favor and we were able to book Kristin. Wedding planning at times can be very stressful, but working with Kristin was the easiest part of the process. Planning with her was so seamless. She got my vibe and aesthetic of how I wanted our day captured immediately. Most wedding photographers request so much from the couple leading up to the wedding day which just adds another layer of stress. Working with Kristin it was the complete opposite. Her work speaks for itself. Just look at her IG page!! Our wedding day was a dream, and the morning after I woke up to sneak peeks of the content Kristin captured & could not share fast enough to IG. I was immediately inundated with messages from my family and friends. First, we were all in awe on the turnaround time since Kristin was literally with us working all day/night & she is just a team of 1! Secondly, the photos that she captured and edited EXCEEDED expectations of what I envisioned our wedding photos would look like. I would be lying if I said I didn’t look at them at least 5 times a day. I seriously can’t get over how she effortlessly captured our love. ANNNND the quality is EDITORIAL. If you want your photos to be Vogue level, you NEED to work with her. & not only did she provide unbelievable content, but on the day of our wedding she gave creative direction & ensured we got all the shots she knew I wanted, she significantly eased my husband’s nerves (he is definitely more shy in front of the camera), & she was with me 24/7 to help with whatever I needed like fixing my veil for me one million times!! She made taking wedding pictures fun and special for me and my husband, it was honestly one of the best parts of the day. Truthfully words cannot express how blessed we are to have been able to work with Kristin. I am actually so sad that it’s over! The best decision when planning our wedding was hiring Kristin. So attention all future brides, your wedding day goes by so fast, invest in someone who will make sure that every memory is captured so aesthetically, professionally & perfectly! You will not regret hiring and working with Kristin. & I’ll be sitting here jealous of all the future brides that are lucky enough to get to work with her!!!
