I was born in a tiny town in Michigan. Moved to the east coast for culture, then the California Coast for sunshine and finally the Pac Northwest for love. But at heart, I’m still a Midwest girl. I take a lot of inspiration from shooting in nature and have a wandering soul. My happy place is in the middle of nowhere — preferably with mountains and tall trees. I still can't believe how incredibly blessed I am to be doing this work, but as much as I enjoy creating art ... it's not the sole reason I do this. I love being a part of something special — a story filled with adventure and love.

Kristina was very professional, easy to work with, and she clearly knows what she is doing. She was very efficient so we did not need to spend all day on family photos at the event. Her engagement photos and our sneak peek photos are stunning. We love her dramatic editing style. She did not give too much feedback on posing so we did not feel self-conscious. We would highly recommend her.

We were very happy with Kristina Kay Photography. We chose her because we loved her moody, filtered photos and her candid photography skills. She was great at directing us during the First Look, and worked seamlessly with the videographer we had hired separately. For much of the wedding, she blended into the background effortlessly. We were very happy to see the final results - there were some real stunners. Thank you!

I write this review with mixed feelings. Kristina was very sweet and professional from start to finish. Our couples pictures were great for the most part, with some really horrible edits that made the work hard to appreciate. She edited my arms and body to the point where the railing in our background was obviously distorted and pointed out by family and friends. The pictures we had done with our family look like they were taken with a retired I phone model- I mean just absolutely horrible with black and white spots on them and dark orange skin tones. I’m disappointed in the way Kristina handled my complaint, and she did not take responsibility for the edits turning out the way they did. I will also mention that very light re touching was done if at all- I can see a hive rash on my arms on several pictures. It’s disappointing that she took the time to distort my body, but not go through every picture and re touch appropriately. Would not recommend for these reasons. She did try to correct the mistake and even sent the originals, but they are still just awful and “sorry” would have gone a long way. I’m glad we at least got a few couples pics out of the session.

My husband and I went with Kristina for our elopement photos and could not be more pleased with how they turned out!! In addition to the amazing pictures, Kristina is extremely professional, fun and easy to around, making the whole experience that much more enjoyable. 10/10 would recommend!!

I am IN LOVE with my wedding photos! Kristina was communicative the whole year leading up to my big day and showed up timely and professional. Kristina does amazing scenic shots and we took some beautiful photos in Cannon Beach. It ended up raining and I was worried about my hair and makeup looking soggy, but you can't even tell in the photos that it was almost storming. Kristina definitely helped take the stress out of my day and I highly recommend Kristina Kay photography!

There are not words to express my gratitude for Kristina! I was so timid about taking photos and she and her team made our time together so fun and calming; they made the process a treat and celebration in and of itself. I couldn't have been more grateful. Then I saw the photos and knew we had found one of the most talented photographers. The photos are stunning and she captures moments and nature in a way I've never seen. My friends and colleagues cannot stop asking about her and how they can have her capture their next celebration! I will sing Kristina's praises from every mountain top...she and her team are the best there is and you'll be happy to have them capture - and be part of - your special moments.

5 star service - from start to finish. Kristina blew us away with our wedding day photos. Precision framing, the perfect amount of retouch, and oh so friendly. I've never had anyone capture me (or my husband) so well! The fact that she had prompt communication (something many photographers just don't do) was the cherry on top. I feel so lucky I was able to find her. Love, love, love my photos - memories truly - for years to come. Thank you Kristina!

We LOVED working with Kristina!! From the moment we decided to work with her, she made us feel like we were not only her number one priority but also a friend. We felt so comfortable spending our day with her. She made sure to get the photos we asked for such as shots with our parents and family but somehow she knew to take the photos that we didn't even know we wanted! We absolutely loved how the photos turned out and, almost a year later, our bridal party still talks about how much fun our photographers were! I 100% recommend Kristina!
