As a self-admitted procrastinator, I was worried I wouldn’t be able to get everything together in time, but Kristy and Shelly were so reassuring throughout the process. She helped our wedding day run so smoothly and she was able to keep track of the many items we brought with us for decor etc and made sure everything made it back to us at the end of the night. Our wedding day seemed to go perfectly - either because it was planned out in such detail that everything was accounted for, or because Kristy was able to identify and correct any issues that came up without me needing to be involved. Either way, we owe that to Kristy (and her assistant!). She was attentive to us but was also able to direct and coordinate all of the vendors. She did a fantastic job of setting all of my décor out exactly as I'd envisioned.

re. She was prompt to respond and set up an initial consultation via phone. She was warm, upbeat and very easy to talk to. She had answers to all of our questions and seemed to know exactly how to help our dreams come true. After about a week of comparing and communicating with other planners, it was clear that Kristy was the one for us. We hired her for our wedding and chose one of her day of wedding packages. She was always on top of all of our needs and wishes. She accommodated every single change or tweak along the way, without hesitation. Her personality at the in person meetings, left us feeling at ease that we would be able to fully enjoy our magical day and that she would make sure all went off smoothly and perfectly! She allowed us to use her extensive wedding accessory inventory free of charge, which saved us a lot of extra money. Her years of experience were clearly apparent, as she seem less Lt lead us through what we feared would be a long and hard process. The vendors she recommended were amazing to work with, and we even received discounts that she passed along to us for many of them. When our day was near, she ran the rehearsal at the venue (where she has highly respected). That day we must have asked a million questions, and she happily answered them all with a smile on her face. This left us at ease, for the next day. On the day of our wedding, she was prompt, attentive, organized and made every single aspect of our day absolutely perfect! The day went off without a hitch. If there were any, we never knew as she was right there on top of everything. Her timeline and detailed planning made the day run smoothly and effortlessly. She was there whenever we needed something or had a “bridal emergency”. Our day will be able to be remembered and enjoyed forever, thanks to her outstanding service! together our dream wedding. Unfortunately, Kristy was not one of them. She was one of the two day-of coordinators available to us on the required vendor list, and the venue manager recommended her over the other coordinator, so Kristy was who we hired.
What went right:
- Her assistant Shelly was awesome, professional and polite and went above and beyond
What went wrong:
- Kristy never once answered my and my mom's calls on the day of the event, but texted us immediately after having an excuse not to pick up, even when it was urgent.
- We missed one of the photo locations we had on our photo timeline because she directed catering to set up at that location. The photo timeline was given to her ahead of time, so this is information that was provided to her and is something she should have prepared for/coordinated.
- She interrupted our first look to ask a question for something we had outlined with her during a meeting prior, which meant my parents missed seeing the first look.
- Guest books were not moved to the reception like we asked, which resulted in them not being used as much as we had hoped
- Items we had paid for (dessert plates, glasses) were sent back by Kristy, which meant we were not able to use the items we paid for
- Kristy moved cocktail tables meant for the reception to the cocktail hour despite clear instruction of where they should have been placed (we even drew her a diagram during our last planning meeting for her)
- Multiple guests and wedding party members had negative experiences with her, describing her as rude when simple questions were asked
- She managed to break 5 cake and dessert plates while packing them up afterwards, despite protective wrapping prepared for her (which she had balled up and stuffed into an empty box); we had offered to do this ourselves but she insisted
- Kristy threw away thousands of dollars of centerpiece flowers in the trash without consulting us stating "they were dead" despite them looking fine minutes before pack-up
- Did not show up to the rehearsal but sent her assistant with incorrect information
- Gave the DJ incorrect information on when the cake cutting was, something clearly outlined in the information emailed to her
- Menu indicators for meal choices went unused because information was not clarified with caterers day of
- As I was walking to change into my reception dress, I overheard her say my ceremony was "awkward" to the staff, which I feel was rude and unprofessional
I would not recommend Kristy to anyone that wants their day to run smoothly, their guests to be treated with respect, or who values their property. I also want to mention that all of this information has been sent directly to Kristy as a chance for her to explain and improve, and she stated that these things were "out of her control". I am posting this to hopefully prevent other brides from having the same negative experience.

I wasn’t very impressed leading up to the wedding day, lack of communication, I would have to send more than one email to get response, always had an excuse as to why she didn’t answer the first email. On the day of she was no help at all. She will tell you all she will do, but then do nothing, she never stepped foot in the bridal suit to see if we needed anything, she ruined the gag first look by not knowing what was going on, she was nowhere to be found during the reception. Anytime I needed her she was in the “private” part of the venue sitting on the couch chatting with the venue manger. When I would ask her why something wasn’t done, I found out later she lied to me more than once about things. She did not take any stress off me or the bride. She made the night way more stressful than it should have been! VERY UNHAPPY for the money I paid compared to the service we got. She is not a people person and does not go with the flow on anything, if it isn’t her way, she is visibly upset and seems to shut down and not work alongside you any longer. I will say I had two daughters’ get married three weeks apart at two different venues (this being the first). I waited until after my second daughter’s wedding to write this, I wanted to compare her to the other coordinator we hired (the one that venue recommended). I did not want to give an unjust and out of hast review or write a review during high emotions. I can say hands down between the two coordinators they were not even in the same ballpark.

Kristy was always able to help us with recommendations for other vendors and ideas for different aspects of our ceremony. She is one of the most helpful people I have ever met. Kristy was always available to us to help answer any questions or give her input. She responded to our many email questions promptly and thoroughly. SHe truly had a genuine intention to be as helpful as possible to her couples.
If you're overwhelmed with the planning process, this is the coordinator for you. Kristy already had the answers to so many things we hadn't even thought about, and she makes sure you are entirely prepared for your ceremony and reception. Even though we hired her for day-of coordination, what she did for us was much, much, more than that. She helped us through the whole process but also let us make our own decisions. It was a dream come true!
We encountered an issue with our shuttle service, and Kristy immediately responded to get the issue taken care of. She also helped us game plan when the prospect of rain entered the forecast (luckily it never actually rained, and everything went according to our Plan A thanks to her flexibility).
I should also mention that the pricing was the most inexpensive we found. But don't believe for a second that you aren't getting the best service, because you are!

Ever patient and kind, Kristy had a fantastic list of vendor recommendations for this out-of-town couple, and was always so happy to share her insights, thoughts and suggestions for when we were unsure about some of the smaller details. She decorated our reception beautifully and had a huge inventory of signs and wedding items we were able to borrow to make our wedding uniquely ours without breaking the bank.
Kristy has such an incredible demeanor for a wedding planner - very cool and calm but simultaneously organized and efficient. She was able to fit the scheduling of all our vendor meetings plus our engagement photo shoot in to one weekend in Orlando, and kept us on time with our planning so that I felt so on top of things throughout the whole process. I was nearly crippled with fear at the idea of planning a wedding from over 2,000 miles away, but was delighted when Kristy's name was recommended by multiple friends. My mom contacted her and they met a few days later. After the meeting, my mom called and stated that Kristy was absolutely the person to handle our wedding.
Kristy made planning a wedding EASY on my mom, husband, and myself. Her organizational tools (regularly updated budget sheets, to-do lists, customized vendor lists, etc.) kept us on track and we never had to worry about if there was anything we were forgetting. Her calmness and professionalism can keep even the most anxious of brides calm (like when your lodging option falls through three months before the wedding!!!)
My favorite thing about working with Kristy is that she only sent vendor recommendations that were within our initially planned budget. This allowed my husband and I to research the vendors based strictly on the product they were providing, without having to worry about the cost.
Our wedding day was stress-free, thanks to Kristy! I had full confidence that everything was taken care of, and I only needed to be present in each moment. I also knew that if there were any problems that arose, Kristy would take care of it without me ever knowing there was a concern.
