Kru Restaurant

We were so fortunate to have our wedding lunch at Kru in Williamsburg after our City Hall ceremony in 2023. From the moment we arrived, everything was thoughtfully set up for us, making it such a special and memorable experience for our family and friends. The restaurant has such a unique character, with beautiful drawings on the walls that give the space a distinct personality. Having space for some of the kids to run around was also a huge plus and made the afternoon that much more enjoyable for everyone. The food was absolutely fantastic and one of the highlights of our celebration. We started with the leaf-wrapped salad bites, which were perfect finger food for the occasion. The cold noodles and jackfruit salad were incredibly refreshing, and the steak tartare was delicious. For the main courses, we had an incredible selection of dishes, including branzino, smoked duck breast, pork belly, pineapple curry with lobster, and, my personal favorite, the beef tongue curry. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, and the variety made the meal feel like a true feast. A special thank you to Kiss and Jeff, who were wonderful to work with throughout the entire process. They were incredibly flexible and accommodating, especially when it came to making arrangements for the kids. They also worked closely with us to create a menu that felt right for our celebration and graciously allowed us to bring in our own wedding cake. We couldn't have asked for a more memorable place to celebrate our wedding lunch. Kru gave us the perfect combination of incredible food, a warm and intimate atmosphere, and genuinely thoughtful hospitality. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and special place to celebrate with family and friends.

Jeff, Kiss and the team at Kru are exceptional! We booked them for our family rehearsal dinner, and the personal touches they put around the restaurant really blew us away. They made the space feel truly special! The food, the drinks, and the service are perfection. Our family still talks about the dinner and evening at Kru as the highlight of our wedding weekend! This was the best decision we made for our wedding - you'll feel like family and keep coming back again and again.
