We just had our first anniversary and were reflecting on how magical our wedding day was and the biggest choices we made that contributed to that magic – Krysta was absolutely one of those. For people who are not naturals in front of the camera, but also wanting those timeless images to cherish for years to come, we needed an expert. Krysta knows how to give directions, how to plan key shots, and how to seamlessly integrate into a day, so that we could be present and enjoy it, but have the pictures as if you spent the whole day focused on photography. She also took the time to understand the beautiful landscape of our private home in Virginia and to capture the moments of natural beauty. She and her team did our engagement photos and wedding photos and did an incredible job. We would absolutely recommend Krysta to anyone, especially those doing a luxury, horse country wedding.

Krysta did a wonderful job shooting our engagement and wedding photos. My husband and I had never had professional photos taken of us before, but Krysta made us feel comfortable in front of the camera at our engagement shoot and made us feel well prepared for our wedding day. She also did a great job helping me perfect our wedding shot list and made sure we got all of the photos we wanted. We’re very happy with how our photos turned out and we can’t wait to see our photo album!

Krysta is fantastic and she captured our perfect day perfectly. Krysta truly was a partner in our wedding process, she met with us via zoom two times before the big day to get to know us and our style and worked closely with our planner. On the day of she was somehow everywhere catching each of us, our guests, the dog and the beautiful scenery. We sprung for the wedding album and it was worth it for sure. Krysta did a phenomenal job capturing the special moments in our life this year. She took our engagement photos in Georgetown then our wedding photos in Middleburg and was organized, professional and a joy to work with in both instances. She does a wonderful job identifying the most beautiful background/lighting no matter where we are and clearly directed us and our family to capture the most incredible moments. Her creativity and warmth made each shoot fun and the pictures turned out absolutely stunning. I was referred to Krysta from a friend who had her beautiful wedding pictures taken by her. My then-fiancée and I decided to have a very, small intimate wedding ceremony this past summer with just family at a local park in Northern Virginia. From my first call with Krysta and seeing her albums from her website, I knew that I immediately wanted to use her amazing services. She asked me what my vision was and then worked with me during the weeks leading up to the wedding to make sure she was going to capture what we wanted. Y'all, I don't even know where to start with how amazing Krysta is. While planning a wedding during COVID, there were so many roadblocks and mishaps but through everything, Krysta was one of the only vendors that I could count on. She is professional, extremely responsive and works with you to get the style of photos that you want. The #1 thing people have said is that they loved how Krysta poses everyone in a flattering way. She doesn't just take 100 photos and hope one works . . . she truly makes sure that each one she takes could be in a frame. I don't know how she does it, but she's magic. Her personality is caring and warm but she can also get down to business with any difficult family members or guests to ensure that the couple is getting what they want out of the photos. She works well with all vendors and really coordinates the day to make sure everything you want happens. It rained all day on our wedding day but the photos look like it was sunny - she just knows how to make things work. After our ceremony, a rainbow came out and she got us outside and took some of the most beautiful photos within minutes! I have used her on multiple occasions and there has NEVER been a time where I received a photo gallery and didn't love every single one. She has shot weddings for my family and friends as well as multiple "mini sessions", engagement shoots and even boudoir over the years. I truly treasure these photos and they are the only ones that are printed and displayed in our home. If I had to use one word to describe her, I would say she is consistent. She delivers quality photos regardless of the weather, time of year or location and that is something that is important to me. I can't recommend her enough for your wedding, event or family photos!

Hire her!! My wife and I hired Krysta to shoot our engagement photos and our wedding. Easily one of the best decisions we made! As someone who isn’t used to having their photo professionally taken, she made it easy and comfortable. One thing that truly impressed me is the number of poses she has in her repertoire and is able to coach people into. You will end up with amazing photos and a lot of different options if you hire her!! We genuinely did not receive one bad photo in the bunch.
