After planning a honeymoon and anniversary getaway, this talented agent decided to scale up her services to specialize in destination weddings. This experienced professional loves the task of helping couples put the pieces together to successfully execute the destination wedding of their dreams; she is affectionately known by her clients as the Destination Wedding Matchmaker! KT Travel & More LLC helps couples find their destination, resort, and or venue for their destination wedding. Our services include wedding websites, a booking page for guests, group/individual excursions, and much more. Stephanie the owner of KT Travel is the most vile and unprofessional person there is. Where do I begin.
She was referred to me my wedding planner for our destination wedding. We hired her and paid her in full on November 24th. Our wedding was...
initially planned for 7/2/22. We requested a hotel block contract for our guest. It then took her 4.5 weeks to send us the contract and prices for the RIU resort which she recommended.
Two weeks after we signed the contract, our guest began reserving their rooms they stopped booking their rooms. After several attempts to reach her, my wedding planner began reaching out. She then told us that the hotel stopped “approving rooms” and we had to move the hotel block. It then took her 5.5 weeks to send us a new contract for the Iberostar resorts. Upon receiving the contract she failed to read it and that the terms were changed, she told my guest and I that they would be required to pay a deposit of 100$ which was in fact 300$. She sent out their invoices on April 1st with full payment due on April 17th. Our guest were extremely upset by this. Guest asked for itemized invoices and were never sent them. Two guest requested to cancel their request and she threatened them with a 600$ fee.
In May, my fiancé and I decided to postpone our wedding. Stephanie initially began “working “ on the postponement, four weeks later, which is her turn around time to do anything might I add. Initially when notified of the postponement she stated she would work on refunding guest that cannot attend. Seeking drama and with my estranged family members. She had extensive conversations (plural ) discussing my personal wedding affairs & business matters with people whom were not invited to my wedding and I have restraining orders against. To add insult to injury she then began tell my wedding planner to fire me as a client. She then sabotaged the rooms that all of my guest paid her in full for, totaling well over $10,000 55 days from my wedding date. It’s Un clear if the room block ever existed. She is a scam save yourself the money heartbreak and frustration.

he beginning that I didn't work with Riu hotels because of their level of service, yet, you decided to choose them because they were the most affordable resort. You hired me on November 24, during Thanksgiving, with full knowledge that our offices would be closed the last two weeks of the year, yet during that time you emailed, text, and called me at all hours of the day about your wedding website. You sent out your wedding website information before your site was ready, after I advised against it, and guests were not able to book their rooms when you wanted them to. Everything with room blocks are at the discretion of the hotel, I cannot make things happen when you want them to, which I advised you numerous times, yet you continued to find a way to blame me for their delayed responses. You ambushed me just a few weeks after having my baby, demanding I speak with you about your room block. I advised you that it would be best to switch hotels, and when you did, I advised you of the new contract terms and you chose to move forward, not reading the contract in it's entirety. You lied about your father dying so that you can get your room block postponed while you were in 100% cancellation penalty. Yes, I did try to do everything I could to help your guests that couldn't travel Your supposed estranged family members, the two that showed me the evidence that you sought out to deceive me, the supplier, and the resort, by lying about your father's death by providing me with the screenshots that you sent to them and your other guests to not discuss with me your reason for postponing the wedding due to the contract, were I fought for the hotel to be able to honor their rooms and the pricing that was in the contract that you breached. You put so many people that you claim to be your friends and family in a terrible financial situation with your deceit. The hotel reduced the penalty to a one night cancellation penalty, and then you had all of your guests file chargebacks, which were all denied. It is my hope that no other travel agent has to suffer with you the way I did.

my favorite time of my wedding planning season. KT Travel & More was able to find high-end lodging that comfortably accommodated my large party in close quarters with fabulous views. The only thing that rivaled the lodging was the itinerary. They found such unique options for us to enjoy the views of Miami and we were able to indulge in the culture and water that is Miami Beach in a way I'd not seen before.
