We had SoundNation at our wedding and they were absolutely fantastic!! They created an amazing atmosphere and the dance floor was FULL for the entire dancing portion of the night. They were also clearly experts at running the whole event. We worked closely with Rebecca to plan out the night and what we wanted from the band, and she did a great job of planning the schedule beyond just the music to make sure the atmosphere and flow of the night were perfect. Bonus: Robert, the band leader, was very supportive of having our friend sing a song with the band and even humored me when I asked the groom to come up a sing a song on the spot!

Sound Nation was a wonderful band for our wedding, and we received numerous comments and compliments from our guests. I was especially impressed by them not only for their range of music they were able to perform, but also their willingness to play so many songs that we requested before hand. They were able to perform so many of the songs and music that we really wanted to hear, and were even willing to learn a song or two for our special dances with our parents. I requested to hear a specific Jimmy Buffett song for the dance with my mother, and they delivered, and it was such a special moment. They also played a wide range of variety - from LMFAO and Bruno Mars, to Michael Jackson and Taylor Swift, to Hank Williams Jr and Zac Brown Band. They were an amazing live band, worked well together, played more songs than I thought they would, and as I mentioned, were very gracious to play so many requests that we had. If we were to hire a live band for another event, we would absolutely ask Sound Nation to join us.

SoundNation was the band that we chose to play at our wedding and what a great decision! They were wonderful to work with and made the reception an absolute blast! Our guests were on the dance floor the entire night and did not want the music to stop! The band was able to learn our first dance song that was not on their usual list. They did a fantastic job keeping the energy and knowing which songs to play. It was easy to request songs and at the end of the night people were cheering for more songs! Can't thank them enough for an amazing night!

Leading up to the event, the team worked with us to make sure they understood our vision, provided suggestions, and helped to craft a timeline that helped the event to flow. Andy Kushner's Marquise Band was the BEST! I would recommend this band for ANY event! The 10 piece band included drums, horns, and three different singers to entertain! They are beyond talented and our guests were on the dance floor the entire night. Various friends and family members asked for their information and asked if they could have a CD of their music!! I cannot thank Marquise and Andy Kushner enough for being apart of our wedding and essentially bringing the party all night long!

We were BLOWN AWAY with SoundNation, one of Andy Kushner's bands. We could not have imagined a livelier group of talented musicians and vocalists. They were so easy to work with leading up to our wedding, and they did an amazing job learning and performing our first dance song. I am the father of the bride and Andy Kushner band made our event. Guest expressed they felt like they were at a concert. They are that good! Andy Kushner's Sound Connection was phenomenal! My husband and I did so much research to try to find the perfect band. To us, the band set the tone and Sound Connection did just that. I have never been to a wedding where just about every single person was on the dance floor. They were so good at reading the crowd and keeping people smiling and dancing all night long! We also decided to have a soprano sax and keyboardist during the ceremony and they were breathtaking. I also had a singer sing as I walked down the aisle and it definitely took my breath away. I will be forever grateful for having found Sound Connection. Our guests are still raving about them! I will highly recommend them to whoever wants to set the perfect tone for any party!

I hired PopCulture Strings as a trio to play during my outdoor wedding ceremony and cocktail hour on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Their music was beautiful and they did a great job custom tailoring the play list (a mix of traditional and contemporary music) to meet my and my husband's preferences. Highly recommend!

We hired Sound Connection to play at our wedding and they were excellent. After our initial sit down with Andy we knew he was the one and this is without going to see them play. To this day people still talk about the band and how great it was. I plan to contact Andy for any future events. Do yourself and your guests a favor and hire Sound Connection!

Sound Nation and Pop Strings played at our wedding and they were both AMAZING! The band was out of this world great, the dance floor was jam packed all night. Even when they tried to slow it down for salads people wouldn't stop dancing. The voices were incredible and it was almost hard to believe they weren't the real singers of the songs!! All we keep hearing from our guests is "BEST BAND EVER!!". I have friends that aren't even engaged yet asking for their info!! Pop strings crushed it too! Everyone thought it was so cool hearing the current songs for the strings. And Andy came up with the idea to use don't stop believing for the recessional song and everyone loved it!! Thanks for helping us put together an awesome, amazing night!!!

We booked SoundNation for our wedding, and they were simply AMAZING. It was a pleasure working with AKE in preparing for our special day, and the Director of Operations, Jennifer Bristow, was very professional and responsive to any questions we had. The band director, Robert Sullivan, was likewise outstanding. They played outdoors on a hot June evening, and kept the crowd dancing the entire night. What's more, they listened carefully to our musical tastes, and made sure that all of our guests were entertained. They learned a new song for our first dance (it was a mash-up, so not the easiest), and the female lead absolutely nailed it -- not an easy thing to own a Beyonce medley as fabulously as she did! I have heard from countless guests how MUCH they LOVED the band, and we have AKE and SoundNation to thank for that. Best day of my life, and so glad they were a part of it!

I cannot imagine a band better than Sound Connection. They are truly the best! They played at our wedding two years ago and our friends and families are still talking about their performance. If you are getting married or hosting an event with live entertainment you have to call Andy Kushner!

We hired Sound Connection for our daughter’s wedding. They were awesome. As soon as our guests heard the music as they entered the ballroom, they got on the dance floor. It was packed. Everyone had a fabulous time. The band played the songs we asked for, but they also were able to judge by the crowd what what music would be just right. It’s like they had a sixth sense about what to play. As the party came to a close and people were leaving, we received so many nice comments and compliments about Sound Connection. That made us feel really good. In fact, our other daughter “put in an order” to have Sound Connection at her wedding, whenever that would be. Six years later we did hire Sound Connection again for her wedding. Our family and friends remembered the band and were so excitied to find out they would be playing at the second wedding too. They knew they were in for a fun celebration! Kudos to Sound Connection. They are the best. We recommend them to whoever we know who is planning a party.

Sound Connection made our wedding amazing. They were so much fun and really knew how to keep the party going! They also made sure to get to know us as a couple; they learned the first dance song we wanted and played the music we love. Our wedding would not have been the same without them!

We used Sound Connection as our wedding band, Pop Culture Strings as our string quartet for the ceremony and Richard the piano player for the cocktail reception and all three were AMAZING! We received numerous compliments on all of them. They helped set the tone for the wedding and followed through until the very end. When the wedding was over, all of my friends stayed on the dance floor, hoping that Sound Connection would come out for an encore! Andy was very nice and called me the week before the wedding to make sure everything was going well and to see if I had any last-minute requests. The band played everything that we requested of them and had the dance floor packed all night. It was well worth the money.

I have never written a review online before but I feel like this is as good as any reason to start. I hired Andy's band Sound Connection for my daughter's wedding and my wife and I were quite pleased with the performance. The band sounded like something I should be listening to in my car, and I wish I could. They really made my daughter's wedding something spectacular and I appreciate their great performance. I would highly recommend them to anyone. We also hired a string quartette, Pop Culture Strings, and they were also a big hit. I had never heard current music performed on strings like that and it certainly added both class and flare to the evening. Thank you Andy for your great work and for allowing me to review the band.

One year after the wedding, my friends and family still rave about how our wedding was the best wedding they've ever been to because of the band. I had high expectations for Sound Connection after my wedding planner raved about them, but the band exceeded those expectations and absolutely MADE our party. They inspired the majority of our guests -- even the shy ones -- to get up and dance. They also did an amazing job reading the party and knowing when to turn it up a notch, to the point where the energy level of the party just kept going up (long after everyone was stuffed full of wine and dessert). My husband and I were so busy dancing, we barely had a bite of cake. Now we recommend Sound Connection to all of our friends because, selfishly, we want to attend a wedding like ours.

Wow, wow, wow! I had Sound Connection for my wedding and all I can say is wow. All of my friends refer to my wedding as the greatest of all time and that is because of the amazing band that just made the party happen. My 86 year old grandmother was dancing with the singers. Our caterer brought 25% more alcohol than what is expected to be consumed and they nearly ran out. It was like nothing I had ever seen, let alone been a part of. Hire Andy Kushner Entertainment now and don't forget to thank me later.

SoundNation was awesome! They got the crowd rocking right away, and the dancers’ enthusiasm fueled the band. It was a virtuous cycle of increasing energy on both sides. The crowd cried for more, and everyone was extremely disappointed when the venue's house rules forced them into the finale far too early for the guests. I give them my highest recommendation.

The VIPs was a great band! All the guests were on the dance floor all night til past midnight. They were fun, entertaining, and interactive with the guests. Everyone loved them and asked about them. You have to give them a tryout to see for yourself!

This band was the best ive ever heard and I have gotten more compliments on them than any other aspect of my wedding. Use them!! The dance floor will be packed all night!!! They are a bit expensive, just a heads up.

We hired the VIPs through Andy Kushner Entertainment. It was overall a smooth process; however, I would recommend following up via phone as they don't always respond to emails. Also, it's important to make sure they or the band leader understand your requirements as the questionnaire can be misunderstood. Having said that minor item, The VIPs were an amazing band. My guests couldn't stop talking about them. The dance floor was packed all night. They definitely made the reception!

I am an event planner who owns IMPACT Marketing & Events and planned my own wedding with my wife. We thought we had every detail ironed out up until the last few weeks before the wedding. We then realized that we needed an entertaining host and MC to get the party started and keep the momentum going all night long. There was only one man for the job - Sir Andrew! After 13 years of event/wedding planning, I have never seen anyone engage an audience like the way Andrew did from AKE. Without him, our wedding would not have had the same positive impact on us as well as our guests. I strongly recommend every bride and groom to hire Sir Andrew to host their BIG DAY as they will be happy that they made this decision.

Andy Kushner Entertainment (especially Sir Andrew) played such a huge role in our big day!! They were so helpful from the very beginning in terms of making suggestions and guiding us in the right direction. We had a vision going into the process and not only did they help us realize it they had amazing ideas about how to truly customize the night so that it was unparalleled. We have recommended them to EVERYONE we know!! Sir Andrew was amazing, we've never seen anything like him as a host/MC, he kept the evening flowing, energetic, and appropriate. He actually went table to table during dinner, introduced himself to all of our friends and family individually!! He really made everyone feel like a VIP. The DJ was on point, knowing not only what to play and reading the crowd perfectly, but the transitions between songs was like we were at a nightclub (which is exactly what we wanted)!! We wish we could get married every year to do it over and over again!!

Awesome band. Enough can not be said about Sound Nation. They kept us and all of our guests on the dance floor. They played all of the songs we wanted and to made our first dance something we'll never forget. They are amazing friendly professional and talented. Best wedding band I have ever heard!!!!
