About this vendor
KW Paperie, formerly Blue Bonsai Printing, is a wedding stationery company located in Salem, OR. Owner Karin is deeply passionate about creating bespoke paper products that beautifully and uniquely tell your love story. Whether you want to use photos, have an idea that seems impossible, desire informal language, or need bilingual save-the-dates, she has you covered. Your invitations are the first impression your guests will get of your wedding, and she is excited to wow them with distinct and memorable designs.
Karin’s passion for creating invitations that couples can’t find anywhere else began when she couldn’t find stationery for her own wedding. She ended up designing her own cards, and over the years created sets for nuptials of her friends and family. She worked to perfect her craft and hustle until she was able to open Blue Bonsai Printing in 2016. This designer now gets to do what she loves every day and work with happy couples to make their special day even more extraordinary.
For your convenience and ease, Blue Bonsai Printing allows you to order the exact amount of cards you need at no additional cost. Save-the-dates, invitation suites, and thank you notes begin at base rates that you can add to depending on your needs and preferences. Karin offers semi-custom and fully-custom packages that let you either begin with a template or start from scratch. Whichever you choose, Karin will work closely with you to select fonts, colors, envelope linings, inserts, and more to craft invitations that are distinctly you.

I am pretty disappointed in this company. I paid my deposit we talked about ideas so excited she even talked me into table signs and an entrance sign and we almost had a finished p...
roof and then I received no response, it's been months when I was supposed to recieve my finished proofs by the end of the week, I now am weeks away from having to pay the rest of the payment where they would be complete in a few months. It is September and I haven't even received any sort of response back since May and now I have to scramble and find new invites and I'm out my 350$ deposit. Please save yourself the stress and look somewhere else for your invites 🙃
We met Karin at our local wedding show and were immediately drawn in by her art work. I love the custom dog design for the save the date, check her website, it's great! However, we...
don't have a dog, ha.
After considering doing our own Save the Dates and invitations, which is what our parents wanted to save money, we decided against making our own and support the local business.
We also got a great deal from Karin because we met her at the wedding show!
She was quick and wonderful to work with! She made our Save the Date that I always imagined, postcard photo of us with cute cursive and lots of green. I love the paper quality too!
We were planning to order the invitations from her as well, before the pandemic, and we were very happy with the seed paper and design.
She was understanding that we cancel the wedding and refunded us more than we were expecting.
I recommend Blue Bonsai to anyone and hope to order from her again!
