Based in Aylett, VA, KW Wedding Flowers is a wedding florist. This family-run business designs arrangements in all manner of styles, from classic garden-inspired to whimsical and bohemian. A local company, the team is happy to work with couples in the Richmond area but can travel throughout central Virginia.
KW Wedding Flowers is run by a sister duo with more than 19 years of experience in the industry. Johanna Bareford and Elizabeth Call discovered their passion for floral design while in high school, where they both studied floriculture. Originally, they had plans to become teachers but realized their shared dream to become florists. They opened this business a short distance outside of Richmond in 2005 to bring that dream to life. Johanna and Elizabeth have traveled throughout North Carolina, Virginia, and Washington, D.C., helping people to design and decorate their dream days.

We put her through the wringer with tons of questions, rescheduling, planning for indoor then outdoor and back indoors at the very last minute. Her kindness, patience, and grace made her one of our trusted vendors to work with. When the florals showed up on the day, it had just started raining outside. Normally a bride might be bummed by the rain but all I could see were the florals, and I was absolutely in love. I wish we could have saved ALL the florals and brought them home to keep all year round—they were absolutely stunning. Not only were we beyond happy, our guests gave rave reviews all night long.
