There are several small details couples may overlook, but Erin made sure all those things were covered: tips for our vendors, a cake knife that looks good in pictures, candles to fill white space, pens for our guest book, and many many more. e everything was on track, to dealing with my panicky emails about Covid restrictions, she was able to put our mind at ease with all of the details that goes into planning. I had many breakdown moments during the planning process( hello Covid bride lol), including when I broke our welcome sign just a few weeks before our wedding. The team was able to put together an even BETTER acrylic welcome sign for us that was beautifully displayed at our ceremony. We had a hotel block and the Kyle Michelle team put together the cutest welcome bags for our guests- everyone was super grateful for the snacks after a night of partying! Erin and her team executed our wedding better than we could have imagined. They coordinated timelines with all of our vendors and made sure that everyone was on the same page. They arrived at our venue early to help set up all of our decor and centerpieces and made sure our vendors arrived on time. I consider myself very type A, but I was able to completely relax on our wedding day because I knew Erin and her team had everything, and I mean absolutely everything, under control.

re. That's for sure! Kristin is friendly, professional, and very positive. I would struggle to find someone who wouldn't get along with her. Now, I have only gotten married once and was the first of my friends, so I don't have too much experience with wedding planners, so not much to compare to. Feel free to take my review with a grain of salt! I found myself being more stressed/overwhelmed/disorganized than I imagined I would be after hiring a wedding planner. The planning portal we used was definitely not my favorite. We ended up not really using it because our updates and payments and to-dos ended up being all over the place/emails/etc. and never updated in the portal. Because I was a 2-year engagement, I sometimes struggled with getting responses/answers which could be frustrating. My true one-on-one time didn't truly come to fruition until the actual week of my wedding. Sometimes I would find out that things happened behind the scenes without me knowing, but it would be very helpful (like Kristin would be talking to vendors without "bothering me" with it). I think that it was great to have someone whose pure job it was to take care of the details and planning while myself and my family could enjoy the day ourselves, but you should expect to do the wide majority of the work yourself until the week of the wedding. I definitely a few times had Kristin bring something up that I hadn't even thought of, and that was great. On the other hand, I found myself having to bring up huge details that we were long overdue to go over. I think at the end of the day, planning a wedding is a LOT of work, and you as a bride or groom have to be very personally involved in it. I am very glad we got Kristin to help with some of the work, and was VERY happy to have her there the day of the wedding, even with an on-site organizer, I thought she was crucial. Thank you! Kristin shepherded (is that a word?) us through initial planning through to the final bus departure from the Fairmount Horticulture Center at about midnight at the conclusion of the wedding. I see hiring Kyle Michelle Weddings as a splendid choice, borne out of necessity (I live in Idaho, my daughter lives in D.C. and the wedding was in Philly, and I needed a local expert). These are some of the attributes Kristin, (and her assistant, Sam) brought to the table: 1. She is easy to work with and very supportive of the bride; 2. She knows which vendors to recommend who do excellent work and who are as reliable as they are talented; 3. She ensures that you receive updates on what decisions need to made and what budget items need to be paid; 4. She has the timeline and wedding event orchestration down perfectly. We had 140 guests at the wedding. I think I have heard from at least 100 of them (that night, the following morning, via text, via email, via phone call) that the wedding was, “the BEST wedding they had ever attended”, “Magical”, “EPIC!”, “Legendary”. I attribute those compliments in large part, to the work done by Kristin. In fact, I have been interrupted three times while writing this review, responding to more glowing reviews from friends and family. One of my girlfriends told me, “When Clara (her daughter) gets married, I am going to tell her to just elope, because I will never be able to top this wedding!” Kristin knows her stuff. She will advocate for you. She is calm - no drama. She is organized. She is kind and fun. She is reliable. Fit her into your budget. It will be worth every single penny. And instead of rolling into the wedding being stressed, staying up at night thinking of all the details that need attention, getting snappy and rude because you are stressed and have been up every night - - you will be excited and relaxed and confident in the knowledge that all you have to do is enjoy each and every moment!

Michelle Weddings is pretty pointless because they are too incredible for words. From the beginning, Meghan was there to sort out the basics- helping us find the best band and DJ (we had both AND I'm a musician from Juilliard aka super critical), and an insane amount of menu additions, after party foods, ice cream truck, and everything in between which for my husband who is in the food industry- was a difficult task to navigate because he is extremely picky. Meghan came with me to my dress fittings, picked up my dress at Kleinfeld's, found the vendors and furniture for my "rustic themed" rehearsal dinner, attended my floral appointment at Konstantino's (also found me this vendor), and attended every single stationary appointment. She even helped me decipher between "shale" and "charcoal" writing on my invitation, as well as the wording. Meghan was an advocate for my opinion the entire year, which was frequently difficult. From bridesmaids dress colors-Meghan was there to lend her voice. On the days of the rehearsal dinner and wedding, Meghan coordinated every detail with her sister Kristin (including making sure the groom was on time, bringing in BBQ, fish, and donuts from 3 different restaurants, picking up sugar cookies, setting up a candy bar). My mom was having a nervous breakdown and Meghan and Kristin managed to handle the situation with ease. Some other things that went down: My make up artist from LA missed his flight, hair dresser came in a day late, but Meghan and Kristin made sure they both got to the venue and got their jobs done! Imagine that?! It's like they are fairy godmothers. All of this was done while managing 230 plus guests, a 24 person wedding party, 7 flower girls and ring bearers, and peeling an orange for the bride who was following the FODMAP diet. Thank you so much Meghan and Kristin. I can't wait to hire you to do my future child's bar and bat mitzvahs. If you don't hire Kyle Michelle Weddings to plan your entire day, prepare to have a huge headache and nervous breakdown. Also prepare to gain weight, because you will be eating your feelings. Remember, this is just a few details of what they did for me. I would basically carry Meghan's baby. They are the best in New York City- and I have seen A LOT of planners in my job.

Kristin also took the lead on working with our rentals company and transportation, two tasks that were really daunting for us. Kyle Michelle Weddings uses Planning Pod, along with monthly task reminders they generate; we found the tools a bit impersonal and would have preferred more customized, personal task management and check-ins. That being said, Kristin and team really excelled in the weeks leading to the wedding; I had a very particular desire to have our place cards made from sea glass, and Kristin and her team executed this beautifully. The wedding décor I worked very hard to design came to life exactly as I pictured it on the day of the wedding. When faced with lots of logistics and moving parts with our blank slate venue, including a rainy day, Kristin, Megan, and Sam powered through with support, positive attitudes, and coordination of all the little details. I definitely felt like I could finally relax and enjoy my wedding day thanks to their presence.

We primarily worked with Kristin and Sam throughout the process, and they both have a unique combination of incredible organization, work ethic, professionalism and design sense. Throughout the months of planning, whether I was emailing literal lists of questions or shooting off a text about a vendor, Kristin and Sam always responded quickly and with perfect solutions to any problem I had. It felt as if any time I had stress about our wedding, I could contact Kristin or Sam, and like wedding fairy godmothers, they would fix anything and everything right away. And then the wedding day arrived, and I was honestly in awe. Our DJ phrased it perfectly when he told us "Kyle Michelle has no diva wedding planners. If you need a hole dug on your wedding day, they'll ask for a shovel." And it's true. Watching Kristin, Sam, and Meg work on the day of seriously made me wish I could watch a TV show about them--it was that impressive. It was like having a SWAT team of wedding planners. Each person had an earpiece to communicate with one another and a bag filled with anything you could possibly need (seriously--when I was overheating in my wedding dress, Sam pulled out an actual fan to plug into her phone to cool me down). When it POURED on our wedding day, they didn't miss a beat, grabbing umbrellas and running every member of the bridal party onto the bus. And while the bridal party was perfectly dry, Kristin and Sam were soaking wet, asking if there was anything more we needed. Anytime I asked if something could be done, they went right away and did it themselves. They truly made our wedding the day the most perfect day we could have imagined. Having seen other wedding planners in action at family weddings, I can confidently say that Kyle Michelle is something special, and definitely a cut above the rest. If you care at all about cutting the stress out of wedding planning, choose Kyle Michelle, and I promise you won't be disappointed.

te the logistics of my daughter's wedding day, handle the transportation, shuttles, and just basically keep us all on task and handle any hiccups the day of the wedding, so that my daughter and I could just simply enjoy the day. Thanks to Kyle Michelle Weddings, we were able to do exactly that. It helped that Kristin lives close to me, so I was able to drop off things to her to take to the reception, and pick up things that she had brought home from the reception (leftover favors, cornhole boards that were used as "guest books," the candles from centerpieces, etc.). At the end of the night, we had to worry about nothing. The few small hiccups that did happen (my daughter's car needed to be moved from one location to another--downtown Philly to Manayunk-- for example) were handled flawlessly without complaint or anything. I cannot say enough good things about Kristin and her team. They were helpful, so sweet--yet firm if needed--and just handled everything for us. They just went with the flow, and in my opinion, they were a big part of the day flowing smoothly and us being able to actually enjoy the wedding and have a great time. Worth every penny! ing planning process I knew I wanted a day of coordinator, but my fiance didn't think that we needed once since we had a caterer that coordinated everything. Since we were both getting ready at the hotel in Philadelphia, I stuck with my gut and hired Kyle Michelle, and my now husband has told me everyday since the wedding that I was right all along :) The weeks approaching your wedding are the most stressful, and Kristin handled everything. She coordinated with all vendors and confirmed their arrival, and had a call with myself and the photographer to go through the day of timeline. On the day of the wedding Kristin's team not only coordinated the entire bridal party, but they also set up decor at the church and the reception venue. We had a lot of decor, and Kristin let my mom and I drop it off a week before the wedding and we picked it up a week after! I can honestly say that Kyle Michelle Weddings made my wedding day as special as it was. Without them, I don't know what I would have done. Steaming the bridesmaids dresses, helping locate a lost trolley, find a cooler when the one we had broke - honestly they do everything! Not to mention, they're the sweetest girls ever! We would receive monthly check lists to keep us on track and ensure we had everything in place. Even when there were little bumps in the road Kristin was always so laid back and made me feel at ease. As the wedding was quickly approaching friends and family would say, “you must be so stressed” “you must have so much to do.” But I felt fine. It got to the point that I thought, “crap am I forgetting something.” But the reality was everything was in place and I had such confidence in Kristin that I never worried. She was always willing to take on any task that came her way. I was surprising my husband with an appearance by the Philly Phanatic. A few weeks prior to the wedding I was informed the Phanatic would need a “bodyguard.” I asked Kristin if she was up for the challenge and her response was “I’m tough-I got this.” She was always willing to go above and beyond! I can only describe our wedding day as perfection. The day flowed perfectly! Everything looked perfect! I had no worries and just enjoyed every moment! Kristin and Tighler made sure everything was perfect, but I feel like I never saw them! They were like secret invisible wedding ninjas that ensured perfection. Our day was truly perfect and I have Kyle and Michelle Weddings to thank!! Now on to the cons.....when you work so closely with someone regarding one of the most important days of your life you form a great relationship, but then the day comes and it is all over. millions of questions and freakouts. The team went above and beyond, doing multiple walkthroughs at the venue with me before the wedding and coordinating amongst all my many vendors. The day of the wedding, Meghan and Kristin were serious stars and put me so at ease because I could tell they were completely on top of everything. They kept us on schedule throughout the day, making sure everyone was where they needed to be when they needed to be there. I found out about several things after the wedding that would have really stressed me out the day of, but I didn't even know about them because Meghan and team handled it! two days before the wedding to meet the venue managing director, she ran our wedding ceremony rehearsal, and she stayed with me throughout the entirety of the wedding, even staying to pack up the car with all of the things we'd brought. She made me feel calm, yet excited and happy, and I felt incredibly assured throughout the entire process that I had nothing to worry about and could just enjoy the day spending time with my guests. Hiring a wedding planner was not in our initial budget whatsoever, nor was it really something I thought I needed to do. Looking back, I don't know how I would've gotten through the entire wedding planning process and all of the corresponding events without Meghan and her team beside me. We had a ton of moving parts happening, especially with several modes of transportation with deadlines in heavy traffic in center city Philadelphia on a Friday afternoon, and everything was perfectly on time and if there was an issue, I never heard about it. Kristin and Megan and their associate planner Tighler were perfectly calm, composed, professional, and organized throughout the entire day. My bouquet arrived wrong from our florist - and they were on it immediately to make sure it got fixed. They worked seamlessly with our other fantastic vendors and knew many of them personally/professionally. They also made sure all of our tips and final payments were handed out on our behalf - it was nice to not have to ask someone in the bridal party or a family member to do it. The timing of everything leading up to the wedding and then the wedding/cocktail hour/reception were all perfect. They had a great sense of humor but at the same time were firm when needed (like when an intoxicated groomsman might ask to do something that the bride would frown upon or someone in the processional wanted to wander off right before go-time). I had let them know I wanted to do sparklers with the bridal party and family after the cake cutting - they provided the sparklers for us and swift-fully got everyone necessary outside for the sparklers (amazing photo opportunity) with the rest of our wedding guests still partying on the dance floor and not knowing we were even gone. I knew I wanted to pick my own vendors (with some advice), have a hand in some of the design, but as Kristin gave her input and advice I felt like I wanted to hand everything over to her (and almost wished I had just had her design the whole thing!). She is so cool, and down to earth, and professional, and talented beyond belief. The team used my dedicated Pinterest page to draw ideas, discuss, design, and execute with perfection. Kristin is especially great at handling panic attacks via e-mail. Because I was so far from my florist, Kristin was happy to meet with her on my behalf and convey my Pinterest ideas. On the day of the rehearsal at our beach ceremony location at Cape May Point, the girls were there on time and Kristin immediately took the reigns of running the show. Without them, we would have been lost. I felt so comfortable knowing exactly how things would run. On the day of, everything came together perfectly. There was slight drama with Cape May Point misplacing our permit (and apparently a very disgruntled beach employee attempting to shut it down), and I knew nothing of it. Kristin asked me once if I had the permit with me- I had a moment of panic trying to remember if I had it in e-mail or paper form, and she immediately said something to the effect of, "Don't worry about it. We will handle it. It's fine," and that was the last I heard of it. Later in the night one of Kristin's interns had bandaids readily available to soothe my blistered dancing feet. I also noticed that the girls attached cute personalized "thank you" labels to our favor bags--which I had put together and just mentioned in passing that they had no labels and joked that I assumed the guests would know what they were. They did this within 24 hours, as I believe I made that comment at the rehearsal. Kyle Michelle Weddings goes the extra mile to make everything as you had imagined and beyond. What's more, is that they are affordable. In my opinion, they are worth so much more than what I paid them. They eliminate so much stress and worry by doing so many little things you wouldn't even think of (things like communicating with each other the location of bride and groom before the wedding so that we didn't see each other while arriving at the beach, making sure the guests get on transportation on time, collecting the gifts and decor at the end of the night and tucking it away safely in a designated location, and handing out vendor tips at the end of the night). The guests loved the team as well. One guest joked about their talent and professionalism, saying she was expecting Jennifer Lopez to come around the corner with her head set too (for those who don't know, a reference to the movie "The Wedding Planner") =) I am so filled with gratitude, and continue to tell everyone that hiring Kyle Michelle Weddings was the best decision made in my wedding hands down (besides marrying my husband ;)). With my husband and I both working full time with crazy work schedules Meghan Justice, our wedding planner, was a huge help. She contacted vendors for us inquiring about prices, provides recommendations and various suggestions. Three months from our wedding date we did a walk through at our venue, Pratt Gardens. The owner was giving us a hard time about the original layout of the reception and wanted to make some changes which would have cost us more money in the end. Once my husband and I decided we no longer wanted to have our wedding there Meghan was on it making phone calls to vendors that needed to be either cancelled or informed of the venue change. She was so helpful during such a stressful time. They were present for rehearsal as well as the whole wedding day from getting ready until we left the reception. They ensured everything went smoothly and it sure did! My husband and I couldn't be happier with how our wedding day turned out! I highly recommend Kyle Michelle Weddings. When the florist didn't execute my bouquet the way I requested, Kristin got a photo of the bouquet I wanted off my phone, went to the florist, had it fixed, and my bouquet was back to me within 30 minutes. No matter how much you plan for ever detail (and trust me I thought I had it all planned out!) things inevitably come up that are out of your control. Having Kristin and her team there who are the experts and can handle anything was such a stress relief for myself, the groom, the bridal party and our families. Our entire wedding was perfect and Kirstin played a huge part in that. Kristin is such a sweet, kind, and considerate person. Her staff, especially Olivia, was amazing, too!!! We had a very DIY and Jewish ritual heavy celebration, and Meghan and Kristin were not only ready to help facilitate all the elements, but were joyful and excited at what we came up with. As we set out to plan a weirdo queer Jewish wedding, I worried that we'd have a hard time finding vendors that were excited for us. This was never an issue with Meghan and Kristin, and in fact, they are much weirder and goofier than they seem. I can't stress enough how much their calmness on our day made it. From music cues to decor setup to directing every incoming vendor, Meghan and Kristin and their fierce team of staffers refused to let us worry. We could not have done this wedding without them. They have a huge knowledge of the industry, and were able to answer questions that felt baffling to us, easily. They filled in the blanks that we didn't even realize in planning, and went above and beyond with their time as we had our initial meetings. I wish I could throw another party for my closest 150 friends so that we could keep hanging out!

It was essential that our wedding weekend felt like glamorous getaway, that our family and friends felt pampered, relaxed, and loved on the whole time. I think they saved us a lot of their cost. My guests all noted that I was the happiest most relaxed bride they have ever seen, it was because I did not have to worry about a thing. This came right down to delivering all of our gifts and cake to our room following the reception. If you are planning a wedding please do not think twice about hiring a wedding planner, it was the best money that I spent and KYLE Michelle is truly amazing they will bring to life the day of your dreams!!

Originally, I thought my family and friends would chip in and help but realized about a month out that I should probably just let them enjoy the day and let myself not have to be a boss on our wedding day. Thanks to Kyle Michelle, we all had the most amazing, stress-free, loving, perfect day! Kristin and Meghan picked up my flowers (Saving me a ton of money the florist wanted to charge to deliver them.), set-up tables, card tables, escort cards - basically all the decor, helped me with my sash, kept us on schedule, got us where we needed to be for the ceremony, found people when they went missing, helped all the vendors communicate smoothly, cleaned everything up and helped load it into our parent's cars, made sure we always had what we needed, and probably did a lot more that I didn't even notice because how smoothly the day went! They even had my toss-bouquet ready for me when it was time to do the bouquet throw, I was walking to position without it, not even thinking, and they handed it right to me. I'd also like to add, my venue was difficult to maneuver because it was an old mansion with many rooms - so no one was ever in the same place! - but Kristin and Meghan made it a non-issue. I had such an amazing experience that I am practically begging all my friends who are planning their weddings to hire them. They executed my vision perfectly without me needing to go into depth on how to set things up. They listened to what I felt the most important parts of the day were and made those things a priority. Basically, they made the day the dream I was hoping it would be by handling all those little things that people forget about or don't think of. If you're on the fence about wedding planning or day-of-coordination - just don't be - run, do not walk to call Kyle Michelle and hire them. You'll be so thankful you did.

dding planners handled it all. While taking pictures before the ceremony, my husband kept getting phone calls from one of the bus drivers. We simply passed his phone off to Kristin and she dealt with it. She even gave the bus driver her own cell phone number so that the bus driver would stop bothering us. I also remember waiting on the trolley before the mass and Kristin came around with spray deodorant for all of my girls. She was a lifesaver. After the mass, she was walking to our reception venue instead of taking the trolley because she didn't think there was enough room. Obviously, we pulled over and picked her up. At the end of the night, Kristin transported all of our stuff from the venue to my hotel room, so we didn't have to worry about anything. Seriously amazing! After my wedding, my mom immediately booked Kristin and her crew for my brother's wedding in May. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Although I only had "day of" coordination it felt like they helped me along the way.
