Kylene was OUTSTANDING as both a photographer and a moral support on our wedding day! We got married in Fair Haven, NY but live in Seattle - and as a bride who planned her wedding ...
from across the country, it was so nice to have a photographer as communicative and chill as Kylene. She sent the sweetest welcome packet, got on as many phone calls as I wanted, and was incredible with helping work through the timeline multiple times. She arrived and jumped RIGHT in on the day of. She got shots of EVERYTHING and even things I didn't know we wanted. She brought an awesome 2nd shooter who was incredible as well. She helped us feel connected to our day and each other, vs. making the day feel like a staged photoshoot - asking us several times if we wanted to take a break, asking if we wanted to take certain shots vs. "telling us what to do". She was the best hype woman with fun shots and things we wanted to do. She started screaming the lyrics of Hollaback Girl when our speakers went out, mid-song, and single handedly saved our reception from an awkward pause in the party! (seriously, she saved the day with that, and got EVERYONE singing along). She really understood what our priorities were, and only made us leave the dance floor when *really* necessary (that sunset was just too good to not get a few photos!). She was incredibly communicative and checked in to make sure we were doing good the entire day.
I have absolutely nothing but good things to say about Kylene. I wish I lived closer so we could hire her to photograph every single life event (honestly, will probably travel to NY to have her take family portraits in the future).
I truly wish I could give more than 5 stars. If you are looking for a laid back photographer who makes your wedding day feel magical and not like a "forced photo shoot" but still somehow gets BETTER photos than other photographers, hire her. Immediately.
Kylene shot our wedding in Cazenovia, NY this August. My husband and I were very picky about finding the perfect photographer and I feel like we got SO lucky finding Kylene. She di...
d an AMAZING job. Every single photo she shot is beautiful. She did not miss a single thing our entire day. We will look back on these photos for years to come and are so appreciative of Kylene's professional service.
To anyone getting married in the upstate NY region, I 1000% recommend working with Kylene Lynn Photography! Her transparency, professionalism and eye for photography is unmatched. ...
From our initial informational call she earned my trust and from that point forward was a joy to work with. I received our wedding photos ahead of schedule and am blown away with the number of high quality, beautiful photos of our day in Cooperstown. One thing that was important to me was to capture candid photos of our guests, and when I scroll through it really feels like I am re-living our wedding day! Kylene provided priceless photos that we will treasure forever. Thank you!!
Kylene was so great to work with for both our engagement and our wedding photos. I hired her because I loved her skill with candid shots. She was so kind and made it fun the whole ...
time. The photos are amazing and it makes me so happy to see the joy we felt that day forever preserved in photos. I plan to find a way to work with her again in the future :) 100% would recommend.
Kylene is such an amazing photographer to work with. I was nervous to choose someone I wasn't familiar with before but she met with us in person before even doing our engagement ph...
otos and then again before our wedding. She is so easy to get a long with and is very detailed oriented but still so chill. I am blown away with the quality of her work and how she got so many different details and moments that I totally missed during our wedding.
There seems to be a trend of more dark and moody wedding photographers but Kylene has more of a bright, happy aesthetic that I absolutely love! It makes the photos feel like you're still there in the moment. We are so honored to have her and her assistant there for our big day. Can't wait to have her for future life events!
WOW! Kylene exceeded our expectations. I met with Kylene months before the wedding, we talked about general ideas, wants, needs and she remembered all the little details! She sent ...
a little packet to fill out with important info for her, and she even came to look at our venue before the wedding!
The day of the wedding we had a lot of rain, she made it work, she got the pictures we wanted, and she made it FUN!!
Working with her was so easy, relaxing, and the entire time we felt assured that she knew what she was doing.
THEN to top it all off, I had my photos in my inbox within 20 DAYS!!! Less than 3 full weeks.
I am so blown away by Kylene's work, she was so enjoyable to work with, we hope to have her photograph more of our life together!
After seeing some of kylene's work, it was a no brainer. She is awesome, I hate the camera (unlike my husband, Zoolander) however, I immediately felt comfortable around her. We c...
an't stop looking at our wedding photos! I will be forever grateful for her and her assistant. Pictures last a lifetime and I'm glad I chose her to capture my day. We have gotten countless comments about how perfect our photos turned out. Simply put, she’s the best.
Choosing Kylene as our photographer was one of the best choices we made for our entire wedding. She was so fun, professional, and completely laid back, and her work is just stunnin...
g. Even when we got locked out of our apartment (with ALL of Kylene's expensive camera equipment and personal belongings inside) during our engagement shoot, Kylene stayed totally calm, let us use her phone to call a locksmith, and hung out with us shooting pictures until the locksmith came! She even got us to stop arguing about whose fault it was so we could get some beautiful images :) On the day of our wedding, Kylene came right on time, totally prepared, and managed to wrangle my entire extended family into great posed shots. She was flexible, professional, and so much fun to have around, and had a great eye for taking pictures I wouldn't even have thought of. Her greatest strength, though, was how well she captured all the special little moments and emotions of the day. Every time I look at our pictures, it brings me right back to the feelings of that day, which was exactly what we were hoping for with our photography. We can't recommend Kylene enough!
Kylene was wonderful to work with for our wedding, and we've highly recommended her and had several friends also book her for wedding and engagement photos. We were drawn to Kylene...
because we loved her style of photography - laid back, natural, artistic and beautiful. Our engagement photo session with Kylene was great practice for the wedding, and I think we were surprised by how much fun we had with it! Kylene went above and beyond on our wedding day - she knew I wanted a few photos at the salon getting ready but it didn't work with my timeline so we planned for her to just meet us at the hotel. Kylene surprised me by arriving early and snapped a few photos at the salon before we left! She is responsive and professional, and we appreciated that she was able to give us structure and suggestions for photos, while also honoring our requests. She just put together our wedding album which came out beautifully. You will not go wrong with Kylene!
Oh my goodness! Thank you, thank you, thank you! We cannot stop looking at our wedding photos. Kylene not only captured the beauty of the day (which at the moment seemed impossible...
because it was overcast and freezing!) but she also captured the spirit of all our friends and family, perfectly. We can see personalities shining through in almost every photo. We knew she'd do an amazing job but we never expected to have SO MANY favorites! We will treasure these forever.
Kylene was such a blessing! We knew she would be perfect for our wedding as soon as we received back our engagement photos that she took. Our pictures turned out so wonderfully. Sh...
e got so many shots that I didn't even know happened which made it so fun to look through our album. I'm thrilled with the outcome. Kylene was so easy to work with and took the time to meet with me twice just to go over our schedule and everything. I would recommend her in a heartbeat!
Every one I met raved about Kylene. She is definitely talented which is why I selected her. She was a nice and relaxing photographer to have at my wedding and she did do a good job...
.But there were some photos that she missed and I was a bit disappointed with some of her shots. She did definitely get some good ones. Overall, I would say that Kylene is a great photographer, with a wonderful assistant. But make sure you make it very clear with her where you want your photo's taken and what kinds of shots are important to you. And I'd say bring your own creativity to your wedding day as far as poses for the bridal party and yourself. Maybe my disappointments are just a results of her having a little off day, or maybe it was just because the day was rushed, because her other work is really amazing!
Choosing Kylene to photograph our wedding was one of the best decisions we ever made. She is worth every penny! Her specialty of natural light shows- she makes every picture of the...
night look completely magical. She was professional and down to earth at the same time, and so flexible to work with! I have nothing but amazing things to say. We are absolutely thrilled with our pictures and I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone looking to have their day captured beautifully. We love you, Kylene!
We booked Kylene for our wedding in august 2013 and we could not have been happier. Not only did Kylene flawlessly capture every detail imaginable of our wedding, but she also di...
d everything she could to make me feel at ease and relaxed on the big day. When we received our pictures a couple weeks post wedding, we were blown away at how beautiful they were. It was everything I had hoped for...plus some. Simply elegant! My wedding pictures then went on to be featured in a local magazine! Since then we have used Kylene for family photos as well and will continue to use her for all of the important events life throws our way! Kylene is such a warm a likable person... she makes it fun and easy.
Kylene shot our 8/16/14 Lancaster city wedding and we would recommend her to any local couples, she was tremendous. She helped keep us calm and on schedule and the photos are high ...
quality and stunning. What I liked best about Kylene is that she keeps it simple and natural, capturing real emotions and moments rather than manufactured photo-ops. We were so happy to have her capture our day.
Kylene was great to work with! My husband and I both felt relaxed and natural as she was taking our pictures. She put us at ease on our wedding day and the pictures we received are...

Kylene was the one and only photographer we met with. I loved her as soon as I met her and although when we first met she hadn't done hundreds of weddings like a lot of photograph...
ers I knew simply from her work how great she was going to be! She did my engagement session and my wedding photos and she made it as though she wasn't even there! She makes you feel so comfortable and she makes it feel so natural which for me was huge! My pictures and amazing and everyone who sees them asks for her name! She not only was the best photographer but she is also a very sweet kind and caring person! She may be an hour from me here in Philadelphia but I will use her for everything in the future! She captured one of my favorite moments from my wedding in the most perfect way and she really was above and beyond any expectation I ever had for my wedding pics! Just look at the detail in the moments that she captures she really puts her whole heart into each section and really captures the most important details and moments! I could go on for days talking about it! She's amazing and if your lucky enough to book her I promise you won't have any regrets!!!

or and in stunning black and white. She is great at capturing those perfect candid moments you will never forget.
She was assertive when she needed to be (a.k.a making sure that the pics I wanted happened when they needed to happen) but also managed to be a tactful shadow for most of the day.
Her prices are extremely competitive and she is reliable in contracting and e-mail response time. On top of it all she is friendly, fully invested in your day, and will not add to any of your stresses on the day of your wedding.
Kylene did an amazing job with our engagement and wedding photos! She has a very candid photography style which we love. Kylene captures the emotions of the moment and she captures...
life as it happens without staging it. Our photos are extremely high quality and we are so happy we invested in her to be our photographer. I highly recommend Kylene Lynn to any Bride! View her work at her website: http://kylenelynn.com/
