We ended up ordering a cake to serve 80 people with 3 tiers of creativity - orange cake with passion fruit & lemon curd, chocolate cake with chocolate and espresso frosting, and lemon cake with marionberry jam. We still think about that cake and wish we could have another slice, especially of the orange layer!

Kyra Johnson, the Food Network's ONLY 4-time winner of the Cupcake Wars, spent eight years suffering from an autoimmune disease greatly exacerbated by gluten intolerance.
As a dedicated dessert lover, she shed many tears over the prospect of only being able to eat the dry and tasteless gluten-free goodies that were available at the time. She determined to change how people thought of pastry and create beautiful and delicious treats that EVERYONE can enjoy.

The flavors we thought we wanted and the flavors we ended up going with were all beyond delicious. They even helped get me connected to the florist they use so our flowers would match our colors and be safe on our cake. We will definitely be ordering from her for anniversaries and more!

We searched high and low for an allergy friendly bakery that was capable of making wedding desserts and could not find any - every bakery we called recommended Kyra's when we asked...
about allergies. We scheduled a tasting and fell in love immediately! We were able to pick and choose exactly what cake flavor, filling, and icing flavor we wanted.
Kyra's makes desserts that are baseline gluten free and most can also be dairy free or nut free. When you taste them, you would not guess they were gluten free! Everything was beyond delicious and the guests at our wedding loved them. I think everyone went back for seconds!

able to sample a BUNCH of different wedding cakes. We felt that Crave Bakeshop’s cake tasted the best! Owner Kyra Bussanich’s cake was light and moist and very flavorful…like cake should be! It was very easy for us to taste how she won the Food Network’s Cupcake Wars! Noone whould ever guess they are also gluten-free.
For our wedding we ordered a small two-layer wedding cake and shooter-size cupcakes. Ordering cupcakes allowed us to get a wider variety of flavors…cause really who could pick just one or two flavors?? (I did say her cakes were flavorful, right?)
Here’s what we ordered for 120 guests:
Snickerdoodle - cinnamon cake with cinnamon French buttercream
Passionilla - vanilla cake with passion fruit Italian meringue buttercream
Chocolate Hazelnut – chocolate cake filled with milk chocolate hazelnut ganache with candied hazelnuts and topped with dark chocolate hazelnut Italian meringue buttercream. (A Cupcake Wars winning flavor.)
Pomegranate Ginger Lime - pomegranate ginger lime cake filled with lime curd mixed with fresh pomegranate seeds topped with pomegranate ginger Italian meringue buttercream and pomegranate drizzle. (Another Cupcake Wars winning flavor.)
We thought the service and prices to be average, but the taste and quality of the product is FAR above average. :-)
