While L Photographie was not the cheapest wedding photography option out there, it was absolutely worth it and I'm so glad I paid a little extra for these stunning photographs. Over a year after our wedding we still get compliments on some of the amazing shots Liz took of us in the rain that day. The wedding album she put together perfectly tells the story of our day and captures all the emotions, tears and laughter of the day. One thing to note is that the turn around time to get your pictures back is typically 2-3 months, which Liz will tell you right from the beginning. Other places will promise your pictures sooner, but it is worth the wait for the quality work that this studio produces. I can't recommend L Photographie highly enough!

he coached us through poses that were romantic but not cheesy and brought out the personality in every photo. She has a great eye for editing and gave us a selection of photos -- and a photo album -- that were a beautiful reflection of the day. Most importantly, Liz is kind, fun, and friendly. She made us feel comfortable from day one, and I loved working with her. I highly recommend her.

s really helpful in planning for the photographs that day. On the day of the wedding she was great as well. Calming before the ceremony and very relaxed. It was a nice counterpoint for my nerves! After the ceremony, there was torrential rain and hail. Liz took it all in stride. We had an alternative location in mind (after talking with her before the wedding) and these pictures turned out wonderfully. When the weather did clear a bit and we were able to take some photos outside, Liz had thought to bring some cute umbrellas, which really added to the final product. Oh, and the final photographs were beautiful, just gorgeous. I can't recommend Liz and L Photographie enough- very professional, easygoing and capable. And SO talented, I love the pictures she took!

missed or overlooked. While the price may seem daunting, we picked the most expensive package which included 4 photo sessions (engagement, rehearsal, all day wedding, and trash the dress). I could not have asked for a better, more professional, fun photographer. Definitely check them out!

are beautiful, stress free and unique. At first, I was dead set on having my photos taken at all of the STL tourist traps. Liz encouraged me to try some locations that were off the beaten path - one spot was an area of old abandoned warehouses with a patch of beautiful ivy that grew over the brick wall of one of the buildings. That backdrop is still one of my favorite locations. Liz has a very keen eye for beauty and is also a perfectionist. She takes a smidge longer to get the photos back to you (but she lets you know that), however, the photos are well worth the wait. I also appreciate the album vendors she works with, who provide very chic and high quality materials. I would without hesitation recommend L Photographie for anyone who appreciates unique perspective, high quality and personable service.

new they were the perfect choice. They listened to what was important to us and captured more than we could have asked for. Liz has great taste, great ideas, and helped us make the best decisions when it came to where photos should be taken etc. She is more than familiar with the St. Louis wedding scene and that makes a huge difference. She knew just the right spots to get all the key photos.

We also warned her that my husband would be wearing his officer whites so she took special care to pick non-muddy locations and keep his whites clean! Her preparation made the shoot very relaxing and worry-free for us! On the wedding day both my husband and I, our families, and bridal party agreed that Kate's easygoing nature made all the difference. She kept the nervous bridesmaids laughing and made sure all the groomsmen were photo ready as well. We have a very inexperienced bridal party when it comes to photos and Kate was able to still make us look like hours of photos were old hat. After the wedding, Kate continued to go above and beyond the call of duty. We suffered family medical emergency just a few days after the wedding and Kate was able to send us a few of the family photos so we could print them and use them to decorate the hospital room while our family members recovered. We could not be happier with L Photographie and all the wonderful people who work there!!! Two thumbs up!!!

Kate knows how to work with couples so they feel comfortable all day. Our wedding party loved her as well. She's a lot of fun and a great photographer and I highly recommend her!

iful. I was very particular when it came to wedding stuff but I trusted Liz completely because I knew she'd make me look gorgeous. Liz will capture all the stuff you want her too and the special things that you didn't even realize happened during the day. It rained on our wedding day and she worked around it. The rain actually became a cool prop when we used a white umbrella at sunset. I just can't wait to get the photos!

From the moment we met up for a consultation, to the final proofs, we were tremendously satisfied with the quality, kindness, fun, and lots of laughter that we shared with them. If you are a St. Louis bride, make sure you spend a few extra nickels and pay for these awesome ladies!!
