Liz was one of the best decisions we made during the wedding process. My wife and I experienced Liz as a photographer during a family and a friend’s wedding. My wife actually didn’t meet Liz until the engagement photo session. Right away, Liz made my wife and I feel comfortable - from there we knew we made the right decision. We loved working with Kate. She made us both feel comfortable from our first meeting. She was receptive to all of our questions and concerns throughout the planning process, captured all the moments we hoped she would, and was a delight to spend the day with as we took all of our pre-ceremony pictures. Lphotographie was absolutely fantastic at our wedding. We had Kate and Meredith, and the pictures we completely fantastic. I love how unobtrusive they are when shooting the wedding. They are quick and efficient. Because we had both, Kate stayed with us for couples pictures and Meredith went to the reception early to get some really fun candid shots. They did a wonderful job capturing our day. I am so happy with the results. We have several framed versions of our wedding photos up in the house. Plus, they give you the images. Christmas is a snap as we made albums for both of our parents.

Liz and her team were absolutely fantastic, easy to work with, made me feel comfortable, and most importantly... captured the most important moments on our wedding day that we will have for the rest of our lives! I would select them again, in a heartbeat!

The single best decision I made while wedding planning was to hire L Photographie!! Wedding photos last a lifetime and ours are simply stunning. My sister used L for her wedding too! I truly had the dream team of photographers, Kate and Meredith! They are so sweet, funny, and easy going. They were never intrusive during the wedding day, but they captured every single wonderful moment on film! And I have SO MANY photos!!! I get to relive my wedding day through the photos. The wedding album is unique, artistic, and beautifully handcrafted. My husband and I have to thank L for capturing our engagement and wedding day!

Liz is absolutely fantastic. She photographed our wedding in August 2015 and I am still amazed by how beautiful our pictures turned out. She is an absolute joy to work with. She answered all our questions and gave great advice about how much time to allow for everything on the wedding day (which was very helpful for my Type A personality). On our actual wedding day, she was very calm and organized. The best part is that Liz is so unobtrusive, and talented that the picture taking part went quickly and painlessly. And I was blown away by how good the final product turned out - our pictures exceeded even my wildest expectations. She absolutely captured the happiness we felt on our wedding day. She also captured so many amazing candids that are some of my favorites. And I love that you receive a print of each picture, the digital files for each picture, and a wedding album (the presentation of all this is beautiful, by the way). I cannot recommend L Photographie and Liz enough.

A good wedding photographer must wear many hats- not only taking pictures but keeping the wedding party calm and the events moving. We had a lot of activities going on the day of our wedding (2 very different ceremonies intermixed with cocktail hours and a final dinner/reception). The whole process was about a 12 hour day for them. They were cheerful and energetic the entire time. L photographie was recommended by our wedding planner and we were really happy. Kate and Kristie have such wonderful personalities that put us at ease. Plus- they are a lot of fun and have great senses of humor! The quality of their work is outstanding. Afterwards, we had such a huge array of photos to choose from (such as formal, impromptu, and classic styles). It was wonderful being able to choose from many different images. We also loved that we were given a CD of all the proofs that we could use however we liked down the road. We found their prices extremely reasonable- and for the quality and experience we feel it was an amazing deal. We'll definitely be using L Photographie for all our professional photo needs from now on. We feel like we gained a new friend in the process!

After multiple other meetings with potential photographers I knew something was different the moment we met Liz. Right off the bat she was fun, welcoming, and had a calmness that I had not seen from any other vendor. Throughout all of our planning, engagement session, the day of the wedding, and then picking up our proofs I only grew more and more impressed with L Photographie. They are true professionals in every sense of the word and I would whole heartily recommend them to anyone. The photographer was something I was extremely particular about and took my time to make sure we selected one whose style and personality matched ours. I really could not be more pleased with our decision or the end result. We have stunning images from our wedding that I look forward to reliving for decades to come.

My groom and I had an awesome experience with Liz S. and L Photographie from the first time I emailed to find out their availability. She was so easy to work with and talk to, answered all of my questions quickly and thoroughly, and was VERY patient. We loved our pictures so much - I wanted every single one in an album! She was efficient and captured every moment from our big day. Liz put up our wedding blog post before she left for vacation as a surprise (before I expected it would be up) just so we could enjoy some of the pictures sooner. I also love that she provided a print of each picture in the package we chose - it's so fun to have all of them printed to go through and share with family before you get the album. There are not enough words to express how stunning our photos are. Liz and the team at L Photographie were great to work with throughout the entire process and helped ease my mind and figure out all the details for the day. By the time the wedding came we had gotten to know her so well that I was so comfortable and happy to have her there capturing every moment. Our photos seemed so natural, not too posed, can't stop smiling as I still review our photos almost a year later. Liz at L Photographie was a fabulous photographer to work with. She scouted out the location ahead of time and worked with us to develop a schedule for the day so that taking pictures on the wedding day was stress free. She and her assistant, Meredith, were both incredibly friendly, pleasant and professional to work with. While L Photographie was not the cheapest wedding photography option out there, it was absolutely worth it and I'm so glad I paid a little extra for these stunning photographs. Over a year after our wedding we still get compliments on some of the amazing shots Liz took of us in the rain that day. The wedding album she put together perfectly tells the story of our day and captures all the emotions, tears and laughter of the day. One thing to note is that the turn around time to get your pictures back is typically 2-3 months, which Liz will tell you right from the beginning. Other places will promise your pictures sooner, but it is worth the wait for the quality work that this studio produces. I can't recommend L Photographie highly enough!

Liz did our engagement and wedding photography. She is an absolute pleasure to work with. She worked closely with us to identify the photography style we liked and then selected perfect settings for both our engagement and wedding shoots. She coached us through poses that were romantic but not cheesy and brought out the personality in every photo. She has a great eye for editing and gave us a selection of photos -- and a photo album -- that were a beautiful reflection of the day. Most importantly, Liz is kind, fun, and friendly. She made us feel comfortable from day one, and I loved working with her. I highly recommend her.

It's been a little over two years since we used Liz with L Photographie. I truly could not have picked a better photographer for our event. My husband and I still relive our event as we look back at all of our amazing photographs. I highly recommend L Photographie to anyone who wants some of the best photos taken at their event.

We hired Liz from L Photographie to shoot our wedding. From the beginning, she was great to work with- listened to what we wanted, but also asked us questions that we hadn't thought of or considered. I felt like her experience and guidance was really helpful in planning for the photographs that day. On the day of the wedding she was great as well. Calming before the ceremony and very relaxed. It was a nice counterpoint for my nerves! After the ceremony, there was torrential rain and hail. Liz took it all in stride. We had an alternative location in mind (after talking with her before the wedding) and these pictures turned out wonderfully. When the weather did clear a bit and we were able to take some photos outside, Liz had thought to bring some cute umbrellas, which really added to the final product. Oh, and the final photographs were beautiful, just gorgeous. I can't recommend Liz and L Photographie enough- very professional, easygoing and capable. And SO talented, I love the pictures she took!

We worked with Liz at L Photographie and couldn't have been happier! She was so friendly, helpful and energetic. She was also very organized and did a get job of keeping our wedding day schedule in mind. The photos were stunning!!!

We used Liz from L'Photographie. She was very easy to work with and helped us relax throughout the whole process. Liz really captured our personalities and the specialness of the day. The photographs were the best I have ever seen; nothing was missed or overlooked. While the price may seem daunting, we picked the most expensive package which included 4 photo sessions (engagement, rehearsal, all day wedding, and trash the dress). I could not have asked for a better, more professional, fun photographer. Definitely check them out!

My husband and I got married in June of 2013, Liz (L Photographie) was referred by a family friend and we are so thankful for this connection. Liz is extremely personable and great at helping you come up with creative ideas for your shots that are beautiful, stress free and unique. At first, I was dead set on having my photos taken at all of the STL tourist traps. Liz encouraged me to try some locations that were off the beaten path - one spot was an area of old abandoned warehouses with a patch of beautiful ivy that grew over the brick wall of one of the buildings. That backdrop is still one of my favorite locations. Liz has a very keen eye for beauty and is also a perfectionist. She takes a smidge longer to get the photos back to you (but she lets you know that), however, the photos are well worth the wait. I also appreciate the album vendors she works with, who provide very chic and high quality materials. I would without hesitation recommend L Photographie for anyone who appreciates unique perspective, high quality and personable service.

My husband and I often look back through our wedding album and are able to relive all the special moments that Liz and her team captured. They didn't miss a thing! We met with several photographers but when we met with Liz and her team we knew they were the perfect choice. They listened to what was important to us and captured more than we could have asked for. Liz has great taste, great ideas, and helped us make the best decisions when it came to where photos should be taken etc. She is more than familiar with the St. Louis wedding scene and that makes a huge difference. She knew just the right spots to get all the key photos.

We used Kate from L Photographie for our engagement and wedding photos in early spring 2015. We could not be happier with both her experienced professionalism and relaxed style. For our engagement photos we shot at Queeny Park. Kate had never been so she went days in advance to choose the perfect spots. We also warned her that my husband would be wearing his officer whites so she took special care to pick non-muddy locations and keep his whites clean! Her preparation made the shoot very relaxing and worry-free for us! On the wedding day both my husband and I, our families, and bridal party agreed that Kate's easygoing nature made all the difference. She kept the nervous bridesmaids laughing and made sure all the groomsmen were photo ready as well. We have a very inexperienced bridal party when it comes to photos and Kate was able to still make us look like hours of photos were old hat. After the wedding, Kate continued to go above and beyond the call of duty. We suffered family medical emergency just a few days after the wedding and Kate was able to send us a few of the family photos so we could print them and use them to decorate the hospital room while our family members recovered. We could not be happier with L Photographie and all the wonderful people who work there!!! Two thumbs up!!!

I cannot say enough fantastic things about L Photographie, and I haven't even received our wedding photos yet. What I can say is that Liz is a breath of fresh air and is not only a great, intuitive photographer, but also a wonderful person. She made our wedding planning and day so much easier just by being so helpful and easygoing. I can also attest to the quality of work as we had our engagement photos done, and they were more than I could've asked for. Best wedding decision overall was to use L Photographie!

Liz made our day so special. We had a little bit of rain for the pictures, but Liz immediately produced some wonderful umbrellas, and we were able to continue shooting photos in Forest Park unhindered. Would highly recommend Liz and the L team!

Kate Hayes from L Photographie was absolutely amazing. Kate was our photographer for our engagement pictures as well. It really helped that we knew her and she knew us going into our wedding day. She had a back-up plan in case of rain for the day of, which made me feel a lot better about the 80% chance of rain. We received so many compliments on our engagement pictures and I know our wedding pictures will be just as beautiful. Kate knows how to work with couples so they feel comfortable all day. Our wedding party loved her as well. She's a lot of fun and a great photographer and I highly recommend her!

Wedding photos will last longer than anything else from your wedding day so don't cut costs here. Liz from L Photographie gave us amazing engagement pictures. We haven't gotten our wedding photos back yet but I'm sure they'll be just as beautiful. I was very particular when it came to wedding stuff but I trusted Liz completely because I knew she'd make me look gorgeous. Liz will capture all the stuff you want her too and the special things that you didn't even realize happened during the day. It rained on our wedding day and she worked around it. The rain actually became a cool prop when we used a white umbrella at sunset. I just can't wait to get the photos!

My wife and I used L Photographie at our commitment ceremony. We worked directly with Liz and Michelle. I could go on for days about how great this company is or how beautiful their pictures are, but you would be able to see this through their website. One of our favorite things about using L Photographie was the ease at which we were at throughout the whole process. From the moment we met up for a consultation, to the final proofs, we were tremendously satisfied with the quality, kindness, fun, and lots of laughter that we shared with them. If you are a St. Louis bride, make sure you spend a few extra nickels and pay for these awesome ladies!!

She was so creative for the portraits of family and wedding party - traditional but with a twist of fun. My individual photos of bride and groom were amazing!! During the reception I never saw her - she was not intrusive and yet I got my pictures back and felt like she captured everything but I never felt like she was in the way of the fun or forcing pictures.;She is the real deal - hire her!
