My hair trial did not go as well as I hoped, partly due to humidity (which we knew would not likely be an issue on the wedding day), but also I don’t think she fully understood my hair type and could have done more to make it hold in place better, or advised me in advance of the issues we might face with the hair style I chose. I ultimately switched to a different style on my wedding day and that time she did a beautiful job. For the rest of my bridesmaids results were also mixed - some came out stunning, but others (especially those incorporating their natural curls into their styles) didn’t come out as good.

My sister actually had LBV for her wedding in October 2020 and I was so happy with my hair and makeup as the Maid of Honor that 5 years later I had to have them for my wedding!! rebecca on wedding day (i hired LBV for my bridesmaids and MIL). the vibes at trial were incredible, as if i had known them forever. my trial look was amazing, i had very little notes and went into wedding day feeling sooo confident with my beauty team. wedding day came, and they PERFECTEDDDD the vision. i will never look that gorgeous again LOL. shannon absolutely slayed my hair, those waves stayed intact all day and night. all of my bridesmaids looked stunning and they all loved their looks too. i had a total of 9 people receive services starting at 7:30AM, and we were done at 11:30 on the dot. pricing was also super fair, and it was important to me to find a beauty team that was reasonable for my bridal party. i have to highlight - the best part of my experience with LBV wasn’t JUST the finished product - it was what came after. i knew i was either going to cry or sweat (july 27th) my makeup off and hired sam to stay for touch ups. sam became my literal right hand - she was never farther than eye contact away, always ready with touch up makeup AND the comb to keep my glam waves intact despite FIERCE humidity, came to knew exactly when i’d need touch ups and anticipated before i even did. she knew when i needed a quick break and we did a private touch up, and she knew when i didn’t want to be pulled away and she came to me - see: sam at the sweetheart table after golden hour shots touching me up to make sure i ate literally, but also to make sure i ATEEE!!! by the end of the night, she became a cherished friend and soul sister. she stayed well past what i originally anticipated was needed (obv i paid-we don’t ask vendors to work for free in this house) BECAUSE of how well she got to know my needs and anticipated for me. she became such a huge part of our (mainly mine obv) day and her support meant so much to me. i would shout my recommendation for LBV from the rooftops. easily one of my favorite vendors. if you’re thinking of hiring them, do it!! you won’t regret it! thank you again to sam and her team!

I was absolutely blown away by Samantha and Jessica's talent on trial day, I knew they did incredible work, but WOW - I never felt more beautiful. Not only that, but Samantha and Jess were so welcoming and felt like friends I have known for years. On the morning of my wedding they arrived early for set up and kept us all on time. Everyone loved Samantha and Jess's energy - they are so fun and also were the sense of calm that I needed. We made a few changes to my makeup (Samantha actually requested we make the changes that I was going to ask for! She's a total pro). They were so helpful providing tips and tricks for me - Samantha even hid tissues in my bouquet before my first look. Everyone looked stunning and I looked even better than my trial (which I didn't think was possible!). Run, don't walk to book Samantha and Jess!

a modification, and one of the stylists took it way too personally. She proceeded to ruin the bridesmaid’s mood for the entire day making her feel guilty for not liking her hair. I feel it was very unprofessional and I know everyone has off days, but the bridesmaid was visibly upset for the remainder of the wedding and it was unfortunate the stylist couldn’t swallow her pride and let us enjoy the day. Instead, she proceeded to huff and puff as the rest of us tried to console the crying bridesmaid then proceeded to tell the groomsman their vibe was “much more peaceful” even through the stylist was the antagonist in the bridal suite. A second stylist was able to successfully edit the hair and it did turn out nice. Also, even though the rest of the hairstyles turned out great, the curls fell on more than half of us within an hour after touch ups. Luckily, the bride’s hair did look and stay absolutely amazing the entire night and that’s what truly counts! Our makeup was done very well and lasted through the tears we all cried throughout the day!

During my trial, Samantha and Jessica were so friendly and chill and perfectly created the look I wanted based on some inspiration photos I showed them. The week before my wedding, Samantha sent over a timeline for when each girl would be doing hair and make up along with several reminders to help the morning run smoothly, which I really appreciated. The team arrived early, set up quickly, and did an amazing job listening to all the individual requests of my girls. Most of my party don’t normally wear make up, so they sought a natural glam and the team delivered. My mother and mother-in-law were especially impressed because they rarely wear make up or do their hair and they loved how the final looks enhanced their appearance without making them look like completely different people (as has been the case for other weddings with other vendors). Everyone looked perfect and the make up lasted the entire day, without any creasing or smudging despite the many happy tears shed throughout the day. I am so obsessed with my pictures and videos and I know they had such a major part in that. I even had Sam come do touch ups on my makeup up until the ceremony (we did a first look).
