We approached La Bonne Maison looking for a wedding menu that celebrated summer in New England without breaking the bank, and they came up with the most delicious meal. From mini lobster rolls and filet mignon during cocktail hour, to great entree options that fit the season, to passed mini desserts and fun late night bites, we were so pleased with everything that LBM served at our wedding. They also helped us create a custom bar package with signature cocktails based on our unique requests, and batched them out before so there was never a line at the bar. The staff at our wedding was also so efficient and kind, and made sure myself and my husband always had food and drinks. We cannot recommend LBM enough!

We can't thank La Bonne Maison enough for all their help throughout the wedding planning process. Their team was so helpful, kind and professional. THE FOOD oh my goodness, hands down one of the best steaks I have ever had in my entire life. I lost track of how many guests came up to us exclaiming how amazing the food was. Our number one priority aside from getting married was to have an amazing dinner and LBM exceeded our expectations! Now I just need to plan another event so we can eat their amazing food again. We will definitely be recommending them to anyone in need of a caterer.

The food and drink were very good, so I can't see going below 3 stars. But the pricing process was not--we were given some surprising underestimations. I would suggest not going with the consumption bar, because they apparently have no idea how to price it. They recommended we go with consumption with limited options as a cheaper option, but I'm pretty sure an open bar would've been more affordable. Their estimated consumption bar cost was ultimately off by 30%, which was an unpleasant surprise after my wedding. They said it was because my very quiet wedding had guests consuming an *average* of six drinks each. I'm sorry, but my 83-year-old grandma did not drink six drinks, and I don't think anyone else drank enough to make up for her and the other lightweights! Honestly, I wouldn't have minded the price; I just would've liked to know in advance. I suspect they may be counting on wedding customers rarely being repeat customers: Give a couple a low estimate to get a contract signed, charge them more when your estimate inevitably is wrong, and move on, because they're unlikely to be a repeat customer for another large event anyway. It's smart, but not very fun if you're the couple.

We could not imagine a better cater for our wedding than La Bonne Maison! Mary and Victor, along with their team, did not disappoint. After doing a tasting with Mary and Victor we were sold on the spot for their extensive, sophisticated, yet practical, menu options, attention to detail including accommodating a gluten allergy, and phenomenal flavor and love that they put in all their dishes. The cocktails Victor crafted were spot on to our preferences and tastes. Numerous guests commented on how amazing the food was, with many saying it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. Their staff on the wedding day aggressively made sure the hors d’oeuvres made their rounds and everyone was pleasantly surprised that they did not need to chase anyone down for a particular dish. For entrees, we enjoyed salmon and beef dishes which were both excellent, bursting with flavor. One of the highlights was that Victor was able to arrange Whiskey tasting, which as you can imagine was a huge hit and our guests are still raving about how much they enjoyed it. The staff was incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely seemed to be enjoying their time a testament to the environment that Victor and Mary cultivate at La Bonne Maison. Overall 5/5 experience. Would highly recommend! I wish we could enjoy it again it went by too fast!

Bacon wrapped dates. Root beet floats. Late night dumplings. These are just some of the highlights from our experience of having La Bonne Maison cater our wedding. Our guests RAVED about the food and it was just a joy working with the entire catering team. Cannot recommend them enough!!!

La Bonne Maison is AMAZING! We are so lucky to have found Mary. We started planning during the depths of COVID as well as from a different state and at first we were had no idea how we would determine a caterer when all you could really do was look at menus. Mary made it so easy. As soon as we contacted her she offered to set up a call and talk through what we wanted. On the call she listened to our requests and made amazing suggestions! Most other caterers just sent us a menu and quote without any personal touch. Mary and her team also made it so easy to manage the changing COVID restrictions- up until 1.5 months before the wedding we still only were allowed 50 people- they worked with us through all of the changing restrictions and guest counts with ease. At the end of the day- the food and drink were to die for!! Our guests were (and still are) raving about the cocktail hour, dinner, and cake. This team is so talented!! As a HUGE bonus too- Mary's team actually made sure my husband and I got to eat and drink and enjoy the meal while also talking with our guests. Hire La Bonne Maison for an amazing team that will personalize your event, make it run without a hitch, and ensure you have a meal you'll never forget!

We can't recommend LBM enough. Not only is their food delicious, but it's also fun and innovative. Our biggest priority for wedding was the food and the bar, and Mary and Victor exceeded our expectations. They were incredibly flexible and helped to made our day unique and special.

When my now-husband and I got engaged, the first thing we discussed was food for the wedding. We hated going to weddings with mediocre fare - cold chicken, overdone steak, suspect fish... we knew that at our wedding food was going to be a priority. LBM delivered. There's a reason that Mary and her team have a stellar reputation. You know how your favorite part of a wedding is cocktail hour where you get to try all the delicious mini treats and just chat at high tops? Well, ours too... so Mary suggested we extend it to 1.5 hours and then served a massive variety of hors d'oeuvres that blew our guests away. Everything from french onion shooters to duck on scallion pancakes to tuna on cucumber slices... I just can't. My mouth is watering even typing this. Not only was all the food incredible, but Mary was so responsive and helpful. Here's a secret that no one ever tells you when you're planning a wedding: most wedding vendors have a great craft but don't respond to your emails... like... ever. Well, Mary did and with enthusiasm and support the whole year leading up to the event. Thank you to Mary and the LBM team - we would hire you again in an instant!

We are soooo glad we hired Mary and Victor Alsobrook and their amazing team at La Bonne Maison! They were so genuine and easy to work with and accommodating and we could not have been happier with how our wedding turned out! We held a fall brunch reception at Olio and from the signature cocktails (blood orange prosecco cocktails, fall spiced sangria, hot toddy...) to the food (lobster grilled cheese, fried chicken and waffles, mushroom pastry purses, French toast soufflé, biscuits and sausage gravy, pear gorgonzola bites, apple cider doughnuts, seafood salad, Greek orzo salad and more!) to the gorgeous spice wedding cake - it was absolutely divine! Amazing food and an amazing team. We love La Bonne Maison!

We recently used La Bonne Maison to cater our wedding. Mary and her team were outstanding. From the very beginning, I knew we were in good hands. Mary is organized, responsive and pays close attention to detail. The food was simply amazing and exceeded all our expectations. Our guests loved everything. I recommend La Bonne Maison without hesitation.

Mary and her team catered our July 2017 wedding. She was very professional and accommodating. We asked if La Bonne Maison could prepare entrée dishes that were not on the sample menus and the answer was an exuberant yes! We wanted to serve light, summery, fun dishes and had some ideas for ingredients we wanted included. Mary helped us to narrow down our ideas and created mouthwatering descriptions of each. We started with an arugula salad with goat cheese, fresh blueberries, and spiced pecans. Guests chose between halibut with a duo of mango and chimichuri sauces with coconut rice and roasted vegetables, jerk spiced chicken breast with Cuban style black beans over rice and sweet plantains, or caprese-style pasta with fresh mozzarella and heirloom tomatoes. La Bonne Maison also provided our wedding cake – a naked cake layered with vanilla buttercream, strawberry puree, and fresh strawberries. The food was all beautifully prepared and delicious! Guests especially raved about the cake, which was even topped with gorgeous summer flowers, which Mary coordinated to add with our florist. Mary was also very helpful in deciding on our schedule for the day and helping me to figure out logistics. Our wedding ran smoothly and so much of the credit goes to La Bonne Maison. We would highly recommend them to anyone interested!
