La Bonne Vie Ranch

I cannot say enough about the sheer beauty and perfection of this wedding venue in the Texas Hill Country. From the open air wedding chapel with stained glass windows to the soaring ceilings with wood beams and chandeliers in the reception hall, the owners have thought of everything for an amazing event. We rented the entire property (including lodging) for the whole weekend, and our wedding party and family enjoyed everything from the Welcome/Rehearsal Dinner to the food truck that served breakfast tacos and coffee to departing guests on Sunday morning after the wedding. The owners are experienced and outstanding to work with, and our Wine Wedding Weekend could not have been more beautiful or memorable. It is the perfect spot for a destination wedding!

We were supposed to have a wedding on February 3rd and an ice storm caused all our guests and vendors to cancel. We were freaking out the morning of and Carroll was literally the best. She allowed us to reschedule until Saturday AND allowed our guests who were staying in the cabins and lodge to stay for free until Sunday. I have never felt so taken care of by a business. Everything is so beautiful and the furniture throughout the ranch is of the best quality. Carroll is so hands on and welcoming. If you’re looking for a perfect wedding venue or family getaway this ranch is it. If they weren’t so booked we would definitely rebook for a girls night! Thank you to the Jones’ family and their amazing hospitality.

I’ve been dreaming of getting married at La Bonn Vie Ranch for about 3 years! All I can say is this venue made my dream come to life! My guests had a blast and felt like there were on vacay, they will be talking about La Bonn Vie for years to come! If you want to spend a few days with your guests and not just one day this is the venue for you. If you are looking for easy to work with type of people this is the venue for you, if you are looking for a dream wedding this is the venue for you!

A more perfect wedding venue does NOT exist! This vineyard is a most beautiful setting for any dreamy wedding. We hosted our rehearsal dinner at the "homestead", used the beautiful open air chapel for our ceremony, the pavilion for cocktail hour and reception hall for our bash! We stayed in the lodge and guests stayed in the cabins. We utilized every corner of this beautiful property! Carroll and her family are so inviting, warm and welcoming right from the start! The attention to detail, the endless patience, the willingness to work and resolve problems even thru a pandemic was absolutely amazing! Do yourself a favor and start here... we drove the Texas Hill Country for 3 days and saw many, many beautiful venues .. La Bonne Vie was our last visit and we knew immediately we would have saved ourselves a bunch of time if we had started here! It really is the perfect "all-in-one" location without compromising one single thing!

My daughter’s wedding was held at La Bonne Vie Ranch and it went incredibly well! Groomsmen and family stayed in the cabins and bride’s parents and bridesmaids stayed in the Lodge. My daughter stayed in the Homestead for 2 nights. First of all, the staff is incredibly easy to work with, communication is very quick & efficient, and it is evident from the beginning that they want families to have a positive experience. We were able to do bridal portraits 2 months before the wedding and got ready in the reception barn bridal suite. The on site lodging is outstanding with plenty of room, beautiful decor, first class bathrooms, multiple full service kitchens, numerous outdoor sitting areas, comfortable beds, and the best sheets ever! They even told me that the mattresses & sheets are what they have in their own homes. The entire property is gorgeous & very well kept. The beautiful covered Chapel with stained glass, church bell, & church wooden pews is my favorite building on the property. It makes the ceremony extra special. The sides are open but from the front it appears to be a church so it’s the best of both indoor/outdoor ceremony options. The reception barn is perfect for receptions. Holds up to 300 guests but We used 5 farm tables in a U shape for Head Table and 23 round tables with 9 chairs each. I wouldn’t have wanted anymore tables because it begins to take too much of the dance floor. The Homestead has a honeymoon suite, a bridal suite, 4 full size beds in a room, huge bathroom with a sauna and double walk-in shower. Perfect for bridal party to get hair & makeup done and dress. Pictures taken in homestead are beautiful! The staff is available to take family and wedding party in 8 seat golf carts to the chapel from different buildings onsite. We had rehearsal dinner in the Homestead so all events were able to be onsite. One of the things I appreciated most was being able to drop off everything 3 days before the wedding. We then took our time decorating the bridal suite etc. This definitely helps lower the stress. I appreciated how flexible the staff was. It is obvious how much they want each guest to have a positive, memorable, stress free experience! Our wedding & reception surpassed all of my expectations and we wouldn’t have changed a thing about the venue. It was absolutely perfect!! If I could give higher than 5 Stars I WOULD!!!! So happy we decided to use La Bonne Vie Ranch for such a special weekend!

There's a reason La Bonne Vie Ranch received the award for "Best Wedding Venue" in Fredericksburg, Texas in 2020. Every single detail of our wedding weekend was perfect- Justine, La Bonne Vie's wedding coordinator, made sure that all vendors were on the same page when it came to wedding set up, that everyone was on schedule and knew where to go, and that guests were well accommodated when it came to rooms/cabins. The rooms were very clean, and the beds were so comfortable (an understatement). They even have handicap rooms for guests who can't make it up the stairs, and there are also ramps for people to get into the reception barn. Justine was also my wedding planner, and she made everything so easy for us! We created a vision board on Pinterest and worked together until we figured out all the details (color scheme, flowers, table layouts, food, etc.). Every detail was absolute perfection. Guests loved the wedding and even remarked that it was the best wedding they had ever attended! I am so grateful that La Bonne Vie could make our wedding so dreamy, especially amongst all the chaos of Covid. The weekend was so incredible, that we didn't even think about the pandemic. Everyone felt safe, and there was hand sanitizer and clean bathrooms available for all of our guests. Pictures don't do La Bonne Vie justice- everything is absolutely gorgeous and pristine. The landscaping, the buildings, and the property are simply breathtaking, not to mention it is surrounded by vineyards! We are grateful for all the hard work and care put into our wedding, and would recommend La Bonne Vie to anyone looking to get married in the Hill Country. It is truly one of the most special places in the world to us.

If you're even considering getting married in the hill country (Texas), you must plan a visit to La Bonne Vie! I was drawn to this venue for the open air chapel but after my in-person tour I knew I had to have my entire wedding weekend on this property. Every detail in decor and the amenities has been thought out and planned so beautifully - from the Homestead property where my husband and I stayed (we also held our rehearsal dinner here!), to the beautiful Chapel, the covered Pavillion where we held our cocktail hour and the grand Reception Barn. Everything is SO well done! Aside from the great property, I couldn't have asked for better venue coordinators than Justine and Carroll - these ladies are gems! Justine worked with me for all the planning and Carroll was there on my wedding weekend to make sure that everything was going according to plan and if there was ever anything we needed, she was right there to help us! I really can't say enough great things about this family owned and operated venue. We love them so much we joined their wine club too! OH, another bonus - they have quite a bit of onsite lodging which I will say was a complete game changer for us. Our immediate family and closest friends were able to stay on the property with us and it made all the difference in the weekend. No one wanted to leave Sunday after the wedding and I don't blame them. It's been two weeks since my wedding and all of my friends and family are still talking about what an awesome wedding venue it was! I hope any of you brides in the market for a venue in Fredericksburg will consider LBV for a tour, I'm so glad I made that drive from Houston to Fredericksburg to check them out, best decision I made for my wedding!

The wedding venue was so elegant and gorgeous. The staff is actually present and vigilant to help the night run smoothly. The property is so beautiful and the houses were perfect. I have been to a lot of weddings and this is by far the best one I have been to. The bride and groom looked amazing and so happy and it wouldn’t be possible with out the help of LBVR. I highly recommended booking this venue.

Amazing! Beautiful! Perfect, and so much fun! La Bonne Vie has it all! We had the ultimate wedding weekend experience! From the time we pulled in on Friday until we pulled out on Sunday! One of our favorite parts of La Bonne Vie is that some of our family and friends were able to stay on the property. Some stayed at The Lodge, and some stayed in the cabins! Our friends and family were able to enjoy a weekend away in Fredericksburg and come together to celebrate our daughter's wedding! The Homestead was a fantastic place to host the rehearsal dinner. Plenty of room to socialize, have a catered dinner, and enjoy the evening with the wedding party! After that, the Homestead was used to house the bride and her girls. Complete with plenty of space for everyone to get ready for the big day! Once the wedding started, the staff flipped the house into the honeymoon suite for the bride and groom to stay for the next two days! The open-air chapel with stained glass and church pews was a picture-perfect setting for the wedding ceremony! The reception barn had everything you could ask for and more. The setting is beautiful and peaceful! La Bonne Vie spared no expense when it came to the details that make it so unique! Everyone at La Bonne Vie is friendly, helpful, and just awesome! Justine worked with us from start to finish! Always willing to answer our questions, attend to whatever was needed,and always with a smile! She was the absolute best! I would highly recommend La Bonne Vie to anyone! To be able to stay on property, and experience a full wedding weekend, was an absolute dream!

La Bonne Vie Ranch was the absolute best experience for us, i am so glad we had our wedding here! It is so gorgeous here, with everything you need for your big day, and to put the cherry on top they are the greatest staff in the wedding industry, they were so kind, patient, and helpful...even when we had some unfortunate hiccups, the owners were accommodating to us and understanding and easy to work with and we are ever so grateful for the great people that work at La Bonne Vie Ranch! If you want the fairytale wedding you’ve always dreamed of, this gorgeous venue is exactly it! It has everything you could hope for... gorgeous land, chapel, bridal suites, lodges, cabins, it has it all! My wedding was everything I ever wanted thanks to this special one of a kind venue. What an amazing wedding this past weekend at La Bonne Vie Ranch! This venue truly has it all and was a wonderful weekend getaway for my friends and I to see our best friends get married! The gorgeous property made us feel enclosed and we never wanted to leave this magical, love inspiring Texas Hill Country venue! They have really thought of everything, down to the most beautiful little details in the cabins we stayed in. Thanks again to La Bonne Vie Ranch for a weekend I’ll never forget!

Our wedding at La Bonne Vie Ranch was absolutely perfect! They have everything you could ever need in a wedding venue— an outdoor chapel, huge event barn, and on-site lodging for guests/family. Both sides of our family and wedding party were able to stay on property for the weekend, and it was so nice to have everyone close. We ended up doing our rehearsal dinner at the ranch too. We didn’t have to leave the ranch for anything all weekend. It was so convenient. All of our guests couldn’t stop talking about how gorgeous the property was. I definitely recommend if you’re looking for a wedding venue in Fredericksburg that offers everything you could possibly need.

What a great place for a wedding! The outdoor chapel is so lovely and really nice that you can be covered in case of rain. The reception space is really beautiful and includes a choice of chairs and tables. They have really spared no expense in building this place. The architecture is stunning and the amenities are really valuable. They have a sound system built into the ceremony and reception area and lots of kitchen equipment for the caterers. The lodging on property is really great for guests and affordably priced. It's so nice to house everyone all together! The venue is family owned and operated and they are just honest, good people to work with. They pay good attention to detail on things like the landscaping too, so the property is even prettier than in the photos! It's close enough to downtown Fredericksburg to be convenient for guests, but far enough away to feel secluded and in the country. Certainly one of the best places around!
