La Canada Thursday Club

The La Canada Thursday Club was the one and only venue we toured. We knew from the first moment that it was the perfect place for us to get married - we could imagine exactly where everything would be. Working with Chris and Betty was great - they were both very prompt and helpful during the planning process. Overall - the most beautiful and intimate venue that we highly recommend.

There are so many great things to say about this venue. Nestled in a gorgeous neighborhood in La Canada Flintridge, the Thursday Club is easy to find from the freeway with a large and convenient parking lot. The trees and foliage in and around the property create an inviting atmosphere and make for great photo backdrops. The courtyard is spacious with a lovely Spanish tile fountain and large oak tree. The interior has a rich, historic character complete with a ballroom, stage, and vaulted ceilings. Throughout the reception, we had guests coming up and telling us how much they loved the venue and the consensus across the board was that it is not only beautiful, but also homey and welcoming. Chris and Betty were fantastic to work with. Given our wedding was during the pandemic, plans changed more than once, but Chris and Betty demonstrated a flexibility and willingness to adapt that made the planning process much less stressful than it might have been otherwise. We’re so grateful to them for making our day both memorable and magical.

Betty & Chris at the club were great to work with! They were clear and communicative throughout the process. The club itself is a gorgeous venue with an airy and open ballroom, plenty of restrooms and lounging space, but the cherry on top is the courtyard with a beautiful large oak tree. It was the perfect space to host our ceremony and an outdoors dinner reception. We loved every inch of the space, and the venue staff was on top of everything. The event went smoothly and we couldn't be happier with our choice!

La Canada Thursday Club was the first and only venue we visited. As soon as we got there we knew that we didn't need to look any further. Chris and Betty Lou are absolutely amazing! We preferred a date that another couple was holding and Chris made sure to have them decide quickly and let me know immediately. His communication was excellent. These two made us feel completely comfortable and at ease. I cannot say enough good things about them. Their team that night was so attentive, helpful, and kind. From rentals, to bartenders, to staff everyone was extremely professional. The venue itself is naturally beautiful and pristine. Every background in my photos is absolutely gorgeous. Visit them ASAP and they will help make your dream wedding come true!
